“Still have not received item after 3 weeks from time order was placed . Customer service did get back to me with anticipated ship date which passed and to date no tracking number has been received .”
Hey William. We are very sorry for the confusion with this item. It seems like the backorder on these are longer than anticipated. Please reach out to shipping@rubitrux.com if you would like to cancel your order and we will happily wave any fees that may be associated with a made to order item. Let us know what we can do to help! Thanks - V
“I was very happy with the speedy delivery, but was a bit disappointed when I opened my package and both the brackets had notable scratches and chipped paint. I ended up repainting them myself. The instructions also weren’t very helpful.”
We are very sorry to hear this! Next time, let us know and we can send you a new pair on our dime. While we don't manufacture these parts, we do have a great relationship with the manufacture. They are sorry this occurred also and are always willing to make it right.
We are sorry for the confusion. After looking into this, it looks like our distributor dropped the ball. They said the part was in stock and ready to ship, but for some reason, it took them longer than expected to ship it out. Our inventory manager and a salesman tried to reach out to you to communicate this but could never get a hold of you. I understand you are disappointed in the time it took to get to you (1 week) but I don't think that warrants a one star review. We would have happily canceled the order if you couldn't afford to wait that long. Next time, please reach out and we'll make it right.
“I was pleased that my order shipped quickly and arrived when promised. the winch came first, two days before the mounting plate and I began to worry. I called the number you furnished but no one answered, I left a message and no one returned my call. The hardware I got wasn't complete in that some nuts were missing and there were no bolts or nuts to mount the fairlead. I also think that a link to a YouTube video for installation would be helpful. The positive is that I got the winch and was able to install it and it runs fine.”
We are very sorry to hear that. What number and option did you call? We never leave a voicemail unchecked or without a callback. If the correct hardware wasn't provided in the box, please let us know before installation and we can make sure to follow up with the manufacturer to get your problem taken care of.
“This is a nice LP bracket the problem is it does not fit the Rubicon steel bumper as advertised. The center screw lines up perfect but the two outer screws don’t and the bracket ends hit the left and right screws. So I had to modify bumper/bracket in order for this to work.”
Thank you for the feedback, after reviewing your order you have ordered the wrong license mount. You ordered one for the Wrangler JK (2007-2018) steel bumper, you have a 2018+ JL or JT and this is why the license mount does not fit; the correct one will fit. The one you need can be found here. https://www.rubitrux.com/maximus-3-steel-bumper-group-wrangler-jl-gladiator-jt-front-license-plate-low-mount-bracket-frame-jl1023ll.html
“I'm not sure if it was a mistake on the companys end or the way it was shipped, but our order didn't have the nuts or bolts needed to mount the bars. It was shipped FEDEX and the box was destroyed. It's possible the items fell out and this is a FEDEX issue. Nevertheless, we are having a hard time finding someone with the right bolts and we still haven't intalled them.”
Thank you for the feedback, we do make a specific note on the listing that hardware may or may not be included so we give the hardware sizes to get it from a local hardware store if needed. We have sold these for years on both the older JK and newer JL and JT models and there has seemed to be no issue in finding the common hardware sizes listed on the listing. If we can help, let us know but you should be able to source these pretty easily. If these sizings on the listing help your find the hardware, I hope the review stars can be updated as we do our best to be as open and honest to give the best information we can for used and take-off parts.
