"I would like to compliment Rudkin and Herbert for the professional manner in which our old boiler was replaced, and the expertise and efficiency of the technician (Matt. White) who did the job. All parts and materials were delivered in a timely manner and the whole installation was completed with a minimum of disturbance to ourselves. Care was taken to protect carpets and furniture and I was very impressed by the smooth way in which the whole project came together. I would have no reservations about recommending this company to anyone."

Delivering exactly what was promised to a high standard of workmanship. Credit to the whole team from Ian owner/surveyor Jack installation engineer and all the friendly helpful office staff. Job done properly and at the right price. Highly recommend to all.

A job well done with great customer service! After 20-years our regular boiler was condemned and we started the process of looking for a new one. Selecting a make, Worcester Bosch, was the easy part but which model and who to fit? Following much research we invited four companies to quote and after all the different recommendations it seemed like a lottery. In the end we went for Rudkin and Herbert – and we’re very pleased we did! Ian, who came out to do the assessment, was great and spent time explaining the options, left brochures and said he’d sort a quote. We quickly received this by email and a copy in the post. R&H was the only company to provide a detailed cost breakdown and make a follow up courtesy call. Office team of Jo and Dianne have been great, they knew we had no heating and Diane managed to change dates so our job came forward nearly two weeks. Installers Jason and Ellis were on-site three days between them and did a first class job of fitting the new combi boiler, valves and pipework. Friendly, patient and happy to answer any queries, they also appreciated the tea and coffee! On the last day, Sam, the plasterer – who could be a double for Jamie Vardy! – did a good job of sorting the old flue, piping holes etc and Jason spent time to explain how the radiators were flushed, showed me the dirt that was removed and explained the system. A couple of niggles along the way, but how they are dealt with is key – we had a dodgy thermostat but after a quick call this was all sorted the next day. Paul came out to fit a better version and was great at explaining the settings etc. To me these are all marks of excellent customer service. All in all we’re delighted that we picked Rudkin and Herbert, and are happy to recommend Ian and his team.

Had a new Worcester boiler fitted and am extremely pleased with the work carried out. Glenn arrived on time and worked efficiently and cleaned up afterwards. Shame about the mug!!!

Owner came t take measurements /quote for 3 bathrooms, never received quote or communication from them, contacted them for update told busy but would have it in 2 weeks ( after 4 weeks from visit) never received, would not use these incompetent muppets

The result really exceeded our expectation but we were confident that Ian would deliver on his word and give us the outcome we wanted. We know he & the men went beyond the original brief and fixed other previous poor workmanship by other previous plumbers . Very pleased indeed with the standard of works carried out by the team. Communications were easy and I was informed prior to any visit. All the workmen were professional and polite. The The works were completed on time without any hassle and so altogether very happy. Thank you to the whole team.

We had a new gas boiler installed very efficiently by Jack and team, and the whole exercise was completed well within the specified time. At all times they were polite and professional and we were well satisfied by the whole Rudkin & Herbert operation.

Rudkin and Herbert, used them 4 times now starting with a new boiler ten years ago, services, radiators through to just having our shower replaced, wouldn't go anywhere else so save yourself some time and ring them today. From the girls in the office to the fitters, all are professional and polite. Turn up when they say and do a great job all for a very good price.

I wanted a new Boiler & decided to go for a Worcester, I found Rudkin & Herbert by searching for a approved installer. When Mr Herbert came to survey my house I found him to be very professional & answered all my questions. He Advised the best boiler for my house to give me maximum water pressure & efficiency. A detailed quote arrived the next day by post & followed by a email. I called the office & was give a date for just over 2 weeks later. Just after 8am the Boiler & parts was delivered by a supplier & 8.30 prompt Heating engineer Jack arrived to start the job followed by another heating engineer sorry I have forgotten his name. The guys were clean, tidy, polite & very nice. We have experienced unpleasant tradesman in the past & these guys were a pleasure to have in the house. I wish I could find other trades that were as professional as the R&H team !! 11/10 Many thanks Mr Norris East Goscote

Extremely pleased with the firm's professionalism, knowledge and expertise ranging from enquiries to the receptionists/customer service desk, to the visit by Ian Herbert and his explanation about what the boiler installation entailed, what could be saved and what needed replacing to the visit by Jack and Glen who installed the boiler and supporting pipes and equipment. Really happy with the final product.

Whilst the engineers worked well I think they would have gotten better if they had been provided with an idea (any idea) of what was expected. I was horrified when they said pipework was to be routed through the house involving the lifting of three carpets together with the relevant floor boards. A phone call to head office advised that the plan was to route through the garage, thus negating the aforesaid disruption. I was not aware they would need to remove a tank from the attic and only discovered it three days after they had left when two boxes of Christmas toppled over during the night. The attic being floored they did not come through the ceiling. I will find out if any are damaged come December. It could have been a whole different story if they had moved over £2000-00 worth of cut glass crystal glassware I also store up here for Christmas. They also left piping behind in the attic. I know they had to access every room in order to change the radiator valves but I did not expect to have to remove dirty finger prints from both sides of every door. I gave the engineers carte blanch make a drink when they wanted but was annoyed when I found they had left a nearly full two pint bottle of milk on a work surface in full sun light on a hot day. The job was supposed to take two days and took three. All in all not a satisfactory experience, unlike the alarm engineer who arrived at the same time, worked around them and was gone in half a day.

Thank you for the great job you have done in converting our bathroom to a shower room, Paul and Clint were excellent and kept the disruption to a minimum. I recently had a new boiler fitted the service on site was fab, the guys were very friendly and professional. A difficult job was made easily by their expertise The Job was completed within the timescales as suggested from the office. Only negative part is no confirmation the day before and start times, leaving messages for one of the owners to come discuss finer details before the job started which involved a 3rd party, however these are minor, the plumbers and Electrician were first class, I would not hesitate in using or recommending Rudkin and Herbert again. Especially a big thank you Jason and David, the two apprentices and Jo.

I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Their service was absolutely fantastic and the cheapest out of the lot. They approximated the installation of my boiler to be up to 2 and half days but they finished everything in a day and a half. Staff were very nice, clearly knowledgeable and well trained. If you want to install a boiler with no fuss, then definitely give rudkin and herbert ltd a try.

These guys are very good at what they do, I've had 2 boilers fitted with these guys 1 X small and 1x 100kw both at different times in the year. Very very professional the lads are a credit to the company there's nothing they wouldn't do for you.. Both boilers fitted with in a large school in Leicester and it surprised me how efficient hard working and effective these guys are. Would recommend to anyone. And that's the truth. Mike
