After many years paying to Saga for house insurance they have now declined buildings insurance for my 91 year old mother. No reason given. My mother has not used this insurance for a claim . Very poor treatment of a long standing customer

My car insurance this year is £213.06 my renewal quote is £681.44! This is ridiculous, I have made no claims for over 10 years. I was thinking of a Saga cruise, not any more!!!!

I received an on-line quote from Saga for home insurance. It seemed good so I telephoned to accept it and paid over the phone. A few days later I found out that Saga had charged me several hundred pounds more than the original quote. I raised a complaint but, two weeks later, no one has bothered to get back to me. In view of this I have cancelled my home insurance and, incidentally, not renewed my travel insurance with them. Extremely disappointed and will not use Saga again.

My home insurance premium doubled I called 4x On one occasion I spoke to an advisor who told me it was because of multiple claims when the last claim was at least 5 years ago and was not paid out She then asked me to hold but was cut off with no return call This happened on 3 further occasions either cut off or asked to hold and then cut off and no one bothered to call back What a shambles

Stitching up pensioners perhaps? The home policy with an automatic renewal almost tripled in price from c£200 to £600 with a don't worry we will sort it all out for you. The company which claims to protect pensioners appears to do nothing of the sort. Any elderly person who does not check emails etc will find their bank account being emptied by old reliable SAGA!! Move away.

Absolutely awful to contact. 3 hours with the chat bot as I didn't want to wait in a long queue. The chat bot messed everything up so I had to call anyway. I spoke to 2 advisor's both put me through to someone else then the phone , their end cut me off. Absolutely appalling customer services.

Home insurance renewal question, I have now been on hold for 29 minutes. I don't think I'll bother renewing! Can you imagine if I wanted to make a claim!!

Disgraceful, received a renewal quote for £230, when ringing too confirm the quote changed too over £600, after short conversation was informed they could bring it £250.. however not allowed to use to drive to work.... complete waste of time ......

I had enough of these innerdating with junk mail your insurance is to expensive and basically all insurance company's are ripping customer of with high insurance prices now stop sending me junk mail or I seek court action

Needed another haircut by the time someone answered phone. Saga sent me an email saying my documents were enclosed, but after trying for an hour to download invisible documents (note came up saying we did not have any policies with Saga) I gave up. DD is being taken and I have a policy number but no way of getting documents, so not sure what we are covered for.

After being with Saga for several years car insurance renewal price for this year was £864 compared to last year £356. No change in circumstances except turned 70 years old this year. Absolutely shocking. Shame on you Saga.

The car insurance process was terrible for a non fault claim although the advisor was polite and I thought all was good, 6 months later the problems began. I now know that Saga cancelled my claim with the underwriter the same day they submitted it. Then they transferred the claim for car hire and repair to Enterprise who I have heard pay Saga a fee to use them. Then 6 months after a no fault claim Enterprise contact me asking me to help their solicitors to recover costs from the at fault party and asking very intruding and personal financial questions and quoting very significant amounts of money to be recovered which was extremely concerning to me. It has been so very stressful and is now 7 months after the incident. If I’m insured with Saga and underwritten by LV that is who I expect to be handling my insurance issues. Not Enterprise! Very dissatisfied with Saga insurance processes. Also the online submit a complaint form was faulty and so I had to submit by email. The response to email was extremely slow. I wouldn’t use Saga car insurance again and if you do choose to use them insist they don’t use Enterprise for any claim you make.
