Horrendous customer service. We were loyal customers but due to lack of customer care and empathy we will never be customers here again. Disgusting

Great products and good prices. Shopping with Smartshop is brilliant and saves time and money too.

I am extremely disappointed in Sainsburys' decision to boycott GB News. As a loyal customer who frequently shops at their supermarket, I cannot support a company that seeks to silence different viewpoints and opinions. GB News provides a much-needed alternative perspective in the mainstream media landscape, and it is concerning to see a major retailer like Sainsburys cave in to pressure and attempt to silence a legitimate news outlet. Boycotting GB News not only goes against the principles of free speech and diversity of thought, but it also alienates a significant portion of their customer base who value the content and reporting provided by GB News. I urge Sainsburys to reconsider their stance on this issue and uphold the values of inclusivity, tolerance, and respect for differing opinions. As a consumer, I will be taking my business elsewhere until they rectify this situation.

I was in the Ashton store today and in my opinion the store was a mess there was not a lot of some of the vegetables and the ones that were there wasn’t fit to be put in the bin further in to the store and some of the shelves were so untidy empty cardboard all over and some shelves full to the brim with items that were obviously not stock rotated if there had been anyone to speak to in store I would have done but there didn’t seem to be any managers about the dates are shocking on a lot of items so I would imagine there is a Lot of waste also I believe that when flowers are going out of date they are destroyed why are they not reduced like most other supermarkets do I shop in this store on a regular basis and in my opinion standards have dropped

What an amazing team at the Sainsbury's store in Colwick, Nottinghamshire yesterday! I was concerned because my Nectar card was showing a large negative balance and I knew that I hadn't spent any of my points - and also that I would not have been able to cash in more points than I had accumulated. When I showed this to the person on the till last week they said they had never seen a negative balance and suggested I speak to Customer Services. The Customer Services employee said they didn't have access to Nectar information but gave me the number to contact Nectar directly, which I did. The Nectar team were able to pinpoint the exact time that 8000 Nectar points had been deducted from my account and asked me to return to Sainsbury's so that they could check their cameras. Unfortunately, when I raised this with Customer Services in store yesterday, the date of the incident was too long ago for them still to retain their camera evidence and so they suggested that I contact Nectar again. They agreed to listen in to the conversation. By this time the Duty Manager was involved as was the Security man. This phone call was where things became difficult. The person in the fraud department at Nectar claimed that the problem was Sainsbury's and not Nectar's and wouldn't speak to anyone other than the Store Manager. He refused to speak to the Duty Manager who was with me and, no matter what anyone said to him, kept repeating that it was Sainsbury's problem, not his. The Store Manager was then summoned and took over. The man at Nectar again refused to accept any responsibility. After some fruitless discussion the Store Manager ended the call but said she would escalate the issue separately. She then offered me a gift token to the value of the points which had been stolen from me. Despite my saying that I thought it better to get resolution from Nectar first, she insisted that I took this, for which I am very grateful. £80 value is a lot to lose! Not only did they do all they could to help me, but the whole team were so supportive and kind to me, a pensioner, and someone well out of my depth with technology. The Customer Services person then proceeded to destroy my old Nectar card, uninstall my Nectar app and then to activate a new card and reinstall the app. I really appreciate the level of care I received and the way that the team managed to keep other Customer Services customers needs cared for in a timely manner whilst all this was happening. So - a huge round of applause for the management team at Sainsbury's, Colwick - Jane, Andrea, Charlotte, Megan and Aaron. A very sincere thank you from a very grateful old lady.

Thought I would enjoy a tin of the new Sainsbury’s Chicken Chowder. Well at £1.65. per SMALL sized tin I was expecting it to have some flavour. However, absolutely no flavour at all. What a waste of money!! Don’t waste yours!

I’ve been a customer of Sainsburys for some time, but I am not seeing the great food that it used to sell. Finding that their meat not up to standard. Loads of ready meals. I bought potatoes last week but they went off in a few days. The prices are high for the unacceptable food.

My online shopping comes from Sainsbury’s Harringay store and after this weeks experience I will never shop with Sainsbury’s again. I expected my order between 11 and 12 yesterday and when it had not arrived by 5.00pm I started to make phone calls. After numerous calls and waiting time I was told that my payment had been declined even though the money had left my bank account. I was the told that there had been a mix up with the orders and after a dozen calls and hours of waiting time was assured that my shopping would arrive this morning but guess what, it didn’t arrive and after lots more calls was told that they could not deliver and suggested I collect the order even though the store is miles away. I cancelled the order asked for a refund and will NEVER, NEVER shop with Sainsbury’s again.

I am a very regular shopper at the Sainsbury’s store on Rushgreen Road in Lymm, Cheshire. This is a very friendly shop with excellent customer care. I would like to thank Kerry, Barbara and Rachel and the rest of the staff.

Worst and appalling customer service. I was served by Emy the manager at folders green . She looked and talked like a school girl . Very inexperienced and unhelpful . Can't Sainsbury's employ a proper adult ,trained manager who knows a bit about consumer's rights? Perhaps they don't want to pay someone who is knowledgeable. Sainsbury's would lose more by being mean. Go to M&S and even Auldy's and Waitrose with much better products and customers service . Avoid avoid avoid

I shop at Sainsbury’s weekly. The last few weeks, the quality of their meat has been absolutely awful. I had pork chops that was supposed to be loin were absolutely terrible. I’m now cooking chicken breasts that again are absolutely awful quality. What has happened to Sainsbury’s? The quality Has gone downhill rapidly in the last few months. I am thinking of changing supermarkets

Usually everything I need can be found at my local Sainsbury's. If any item I have bought is faulty or not good enough, the staff at customer service have been generous and friendly, which does not often happen at other supermarkets I have used.
