“I ordered wine at 25% discount.Order confirmed and delivery date agreed.Wine did not arrive ,to be FOLLOWED by an e mail saying order cancelled.( not by me ).I then rang them,taking 17 mins to talk to a real person.to be informed that as they had been out of stock ( although they would be in stock today ) they would only reinstate the order at the original 25% extra price and would not honour the previous order even though it was them that cancelled it. I use sainsburys wine on line a lot but will `NOT be using them again.”
“I normally thought sanisbury were great but just lately in the last week three items i have always purchased have been gone from the shelves, ie Garlic butter garlic slices (frozen) sanisburys own licorice ,as iv been buying these items for years i dont understand why.If i ask they say maybe there not called for which is rubbish.

“My delivery was due Saturday morning 9.30am to 10.30am. It arrived 10.25, great I thought until I was told only a quarter of my order was there but I was assured the remainder would be delivered between 5 and 6pm.. not ideal but I could deal with that.
6pm arrived no delivery Rang customer services and I was put through to Calcot store and had to reel off all items paid for but not received and was told I would get it all between 9 and 10 Sunday morning. Off I went shopping to get vegetables and cat food so we could all eat. We had our dinner at 7.45pm!!
Sunday morning no delivery AGAIN. Rang customer services Calcot store manager said he would deal with it and phone me.. 4.5 hrs later I have to call again and have been told I will get a refund in 2 to 3 days!!!!! HOW DO I FEED MY FAMILY WHILST WAITING FOR A REFUND??????????

“I purchased some red wine which was on offer at £5 per bottle. When it was delivered the price had gone up and it had been put through at £5.25p per bottle. I rang to query how this had happened but was told that if the price changes on the day of delivery then you will be charged the extra amount. So basically if you buy anything on offer, and it goes up on the day of delivery, you will be charged the larger amount. I was told that this will happen so will not be using Sainsbury's online any more!!!”
“Delivering food that goes out of date in one day is just not acceptable. Actually everything else is ok but there are much better companies out there.”
“placed order, had several emails saying was on way but I realised my card was out of date so I rang to sort out. Then I was told that they did try to contact me but phone number and email was incorrect. I explained I was receiving communications and it must be them. I was practically called a liar and would not deliver my goods I'd have to resubmit and wait for another day to try and deliver. I went to waitrose in the end!”
“I was having difficulty with the password for logging -on to place an order, I phoned the number given on your web site if help was needed, the young lady who answered showed a great deal of understanding and patience in dealing with an older person who is somewhat stupid when trying to cope with modern technology. “Please recognise this member of staff she was brilliant
On Saturday I went to asda with my baby grand daughter there were no parent child spaces left which are not close also no trolleys that can accommodate a car seat so I left and went to sainsburys at straiton park Edinburgh.
I found numerous spaces and a trolley for the car seat no problem, half way around I had to lift the baby and carry her to finish my shop. I struggled to negotiate the trolley when a lovey young girl called frances offered me help to go tho the check out not on ly did she take the trolley there she loaded it on to the belt and packed the lot whilst chatting and being very friendly. My shopping was packed for me perfectly.
Sainsburys will now get my business all thanks to the high level of customer service frances gave me. This young lady is a credit to the store

“Sainsbury gave my cousin a job when he and his family could not cope. He had four mouths to feed. I also told them off and they gave me £10. in a voucher. They are the most friendliest people I can find the stores are really clean and any problems are sorted out as fast as grease lightening. My home is filled with Sainsbury. The only one jib I have is that there are not enough of them.”
“I have visited the New Sainsbury's in Nine Elems, found this a very large store.
Very spacious, has almost everything you could possibly think of.
Good undercover car parking with security, very large lifts to main store.
I have never met an assistance, on floor or check-out to un-helpful.
However on my last visit, Julie on check out really went out of her way to be so polite,
friendly, with cheerful personality.
Check-out has always been exceptionally quick.
This store also has a restaurant, Argos in store, baby and baby changing & disable facilities.”
“I placed an order for the first time two weeks ago for delivery with Sainsbury Grocery for their Merton Store. The delivery did not show up and and I was never contacted. After calling their Customer Support, they confirmed they had a shortage of drivers and I was never contacted regarding this. Understanding things can happen, it was rescheduled the following morning. This delivery never showed up either and again I was not contacted. I called the Support Team again who apologized and we re-scheduled once again for that afternoon; the representative confirmed this would be prioritized and the store clerk had my order to pick. The day went by with no delivery again. At this point they apologized again claiming the order went out but came back to the store as he driver could not finish the deliveries, they offered a small gift card and confirmed my order was cancelled and I would be refunded within 3-5 working days. Keep in mind I am 8 months pregnant with twins so I am not able to go to the store myself to do any groceries. I had to place a whole new order with Asda delivery (that evening) so I could not get a delivery for another 2 days, this was delivered without any issues. I have yet to be refunded from Sainsbury's so I contacted them again today and the store's excuse is that they are busy with refunds and it will be completed today, 2 weeks later. The Customer Service team did their job and tried to defuse the situation however this store's service is completely unacceptable. I spent over £60 on this delivery and still do not my money and I had to wait for over 3 days to get a proper grocery because of their incompetency. I highly discourage anyone using their delivery service and I will be shopping elsewhere from now on.”
“I ordered the 1720euro and collect it today at 5:00 in the Sainburys Blackhall store in EH4 Edinburgh. The staff he gave me the euro in the counter window, I collected it than counted all the money and requested him to change some 20euro to 50euro to reduce the quantity. It is so disappointing that he said he can't make the change to me, because I taken the money away from the window and also out of his sign!! What! Excuse me, the money is he gave me, what's that happen? I asked him why you can't change it to me. It terrible reply me that because the money was taken away from my sign and no guarantee the money will be changed to fake notes. I was really upset to reply him that I am standing in front of the counter with CCTV recorded. How can I do it? Why I do it? He suspected me is a theft? It is so shameful. I trusted he gave me the true note, but he suspected I changed back the fake note to him? Finally, I ran away with shame. I was really disappointed the company Sainburys how to provide the training and selection of the staff. It is so messed of the management system.”
“Never, ever buy Sainsburys Chinese food. It is almost the same price as a takeaway but the quality is dire tastes nothing like Chinese food. I just had to apologise to subjecting my family to a meal that we could barely eat”
