COVSECLTD.COM assisted me in recovering my money after I was defrauded and prevented from making a withdrawal.

SANLAM...All You do is waste our time an money. We speak to robots that don't even seem to understand their own job. DEBIT orders being skipped,you just don't care. Theres literally no one to speak to telephonically. IF a call is successful your either in the wrong department... THIS IS DRAING GUYS. I'm not sure what circus are you guys running.

In October 2024 I changed employment and requested to withdraw my pension fund. It is almost 5 months later and I don’t get any response from Sanlam via whatsapp, email and on phone. Almost every month I have to send in documentation whereas I already send in the correct documentation in January and February 2025. I would never in my life recommend Sanlam. Which was supposed to be 30 days is now almost 5 months without any response. This is the utmost poorest service I’ve dealt with in my entire life.

I'm one of Santam/Sanlam's insurance's client for rhe past few years. I only have heaps of praise for Farhaan who delivers exceptional service at all times, be it weekends too. We had 2 unfortunate car claims and Farhaan came through for us with honest, reliable and trustworthy information and followed up to the end with me until we teceived both claim pay-outs. I went as far as requesting a various quotes once again for a car I wanted to purchase and he gave us amazing service once again I will move my hoseholders insurance to your company too at the annual renewal pf my polcy in August 2025 as I know they will come through for me again Thank you very much Farhaan, I sincerely wish there were more people like you

Worst service ever!! Don't respond to any emails/correspondance after my Father had passed away.Allready 4 months ago. Quick to take group life insurance premiums every month but when you need Sanlam, YOU are non existand.

Y must we speak to a virtual consultant when we call Sanlam. I mean some of us we only have airtime to say what we want to say not for a robot to speak , even if the call cut they won’t call you back, Sanlam you are disappointing me….

Bad customer service I put on a funeral claim 10 February 2025 and got a response requesting me to send Post mortem results in order for my claim to be processed. Other service provides paid the other members of the family their claim. Later on Sanlam sent me a message stating that my claim is taken to auditors to be assessed. I am very disappointed with Sanlam and thinking of cancelling my other policies that I have with them. I am unable to assist with funeral arrangements where as the contract states that they pay within 4 to 48 hours.

I'm really starting to think Sanlam is struggling financially. I resigned a couple of months ago and filled out the withdrawal forms, but I haven't heard anything from them since. I've sent several emails with no response, and their call center doesn't seem to pick up at all. Honestly, if you want peace of mind, l'd recommend staying away from Sanlam.

Terrible and crooked company. Very high charges and it has been messing about with my pensions. I filed a formal complaint 5 months ago and it simply refused to investigate, telling me that I can now take it to the Financial Ombudsman without a final referral letter. Very nasty crooks.

I resigned from my previous employer five months ago. I filled my withdrawal forms. I am stil waiting for my payout. Customer care number is not taking calls.Sanlam agent will phone you and tell you lies. I would like to advise all provident fund members to consider other company before investing to Sanlam umbrella fund

Shocking service and unkept promises to resolve my queries or escalate to a supervisor! Disgusting. Neither call centre, emails or whatsapp channels are responded to!

Sanlam's customer service has truly let me down. Since I filed my withdrawal form more than four months ago, each time I contact them, they apologize and promise to have their manager look into my matter as quickly as possible. The worst aspect is that when you talk to them and voice your concerns, you get the feeling that they don't care. I find it difficult to comprehend why a corporation of their scale would treat me this way.We appreciate T-R-E-B-L-E-S-L-T-D*C-O-M You won't regret giving them a try, I promise you.

Sanlam Trust is the worst and most incompetant bunch. It took them 18 months to finalise a simple estate and still we have problems.

This company is the WORST of all insurance companies. Let the name not fool you or the brand they have built for themselves by stealing people's money. Please read reviews thoroughly before taking any insurance with them. The agents will lie, literally lie to you, and once you sign the policy and start making contributions you are doomed. I was contributing for 3 and half years without defaulting. I was even advised to wait 3 years so that I can be able to get a surrender value if need be. Now the story has changed and they are taking close to 80% of my money in the name of penalizing me for wanting to cancel the policy. Remember, I am not a defaulter. My hard-earned money of 3 and half years down the drain just like that. I was also not contributing little money. Please DO NOT TAKE ANY POLICIES WITH SANLAM. You will cry and cry until it hits you, you have been ROBBED and there is nothing you can do. Can you imagine if they've done this to even 10 people? They are operating a company on peoples hard earned coins and stealing in broad daylight. Please please potential client, AVOID SANLAM if you do not want to cry. You would rather leave your money in a BANK, under a mattress or even enjoy all of it, because SANLAM WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY. SHAME ON THEM. I can't believe they are allowed to operate like this. TOTALY DISGUSTED BY THEM. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Misleading whatsapp responses on completion of requests,some agents unprofessional in answering questions/queries,no specifics as to their responses. For such a big company which has been n existence for so many years,it's totally disappointing. POOR SERVICE AND NO COMMUNICATION OF DELAYS IN PROCESSING REQUESTS.
