Following the registration of my withdrawal request, the broker first denied it, withheld the full amount of my profit from the account, and prevented me from withdrawing the profit. Despite my repeated attempts to contact both the email broker and the official Telegram support, they have not replied to any of my correspondence and have simply ignored it. “Absolutely shocking, seem to have put a block on my account with all of my money in for some apparent reason that none of them can tell me! I have been calling them for the last 12 days trying to get it resolved, passed from pillar to post and no one has a clue what they are doing. I have been left for 12 days with no access to my money, and seems as if it going to be even longer as the team that can apparently take the block off are allowed as much time as possible even if the referral is marked as urgent. I haven't been offered any sort of financial support, i am absolutely appalled! Firstly I was told it was going to be sorted by 02/08, which is wasn't so i had to chase them again, to then be told it would be sorted by 07/08, which again it wasn't, they then said it would be resolved by today 09/08, but by the looks of things it isn't going to be and they clearly do not care or have any remorse.”

This has become the worst bank ever. if you are thinking of joining DONT. this review is not for the physical branch in Bloomfield. it’s for overall service. today my Card was declined because apparently my new card with a new expiration date, which I have not received yet have is now in their system. so I can no longer use my card that I have that has not expired yet. the customer service representative that I spoke to even said it was not right. when I spoke to a very useless, not helpful at all, arrogant manager named MIKE, his response was “nothing can be done”. save yourself the aggravation and find yourself another bank, which is what I’m doing. also, this is not the first negative issue I’ve had with them, but definitely the last. “Tried to open a saving account with them. Given I already have another account with them I assumed this would be easy enough - but no. They wanted all of my ID paperwork sent to them again.
Tried calling to get a better understanding of why this was needed again and after 45mins of being on hold got cut off.

“The new app is dreadful, why do you have to keep messing about with things when they worked perfectly fine…. I am 76 hrs old and find this so complicated… I’ve ended up with a cat as a wallpaper and don’t know how to change it… the wallpaper picture is far too dark… I find it difficult to see the figures on an insipid background and when I have tried to change things I just do not understand what to do…. Also you referred to biometrics ( not a clue)… I’ve had to come out and investigate what that means…
This is utterly ridiculous, not everyone is tech savvy…
I have no idea how to check my statements which were so straightforward before…. It’s a case of press this, go into that…..

Problems trying to pay credit card - input numbers and then it just disappears.
Had to verify a payment on my mobile app and because a phone call came in I mid payment I couldn’t find where to verify easily. Thought it would pop up as a MAJOR tab on home page but nowhere to be seen!

“A month later I tried again to make an overpayment on my mortgage.
Since the app was 'upgraded' it can't be done, the app won't let me type letters in, only numbers. So I can't enter my post code & complete the transaction. Why are Santander not fixing this? I walked into town to visit the branch - and it was closed for refurbishment. Why not forget the redecorating and hire some competent IT staff instead ?!!”
“Zero compassion for mortgage holders
My mother is the sole carer for my elderly grandmother who has significant care needs. She has been struggling with repayments. Santander offered my mother no assistance such as a repayment holiday. Whilst she was abroad tending to another family emergency, they repossessed the house, she had no notice of the court proceedings. She paid what was outstanding and now they are asking for all of the monies owed. A horrible bank with no compassion, beware if you are ever on your face they will not help you.”
