I have tried to call customer service for two after being in the phone que for 10 minutes waiting for a live person they take my account information and mysteriously I AM Disconnected!!! Absolutely the worst customer service call center !!! CEO needs to start firing managers that are not reporting calls being hung up on!!!

This new app is absolutely useless. I thought it was my phone that was the problem but having read other reviews it's obviously the app. Why they had to update to this rubbish is beyond me. Bring back the old app.

I uninstalled the new app as it kept freezing on the initial page for minutes on end. Installed the app again. Now I need to reload my ID and face picture when it should be on record under my log in details when I first installed the app. Trying to take an acceptable picture of my ID seems impossible, as it's blurred or not in frame or not possible to read. A waste of time and effort. I'll do online banking from now on, until they ruin that.

Since new app became operational I have had considerable problems with accessing and completing transactions on my android tablet.Slow log on,repeated log requirements,transactions incomplete, no confidence,NEVER had any issues with old app,getting to stage of closing account and going elsewhere.

Overall bad company. Do Not trust them! My husband paid a brand new car off in full. They say they have not seen the payment.

Vania Maria Luis Marquis called me immediately when I sent an e-mail enquiring an urgent matter,aswell as following up to make sure if I needed anything further.Im a South African citizen who has never even visited my roots within the past 23 yrs.My portugeuse is good but not immaculate & everytime ive called,Ive only had kind assistance aswell as fantastic service.10/10.People should share good experiences too….not only bad ones

After banking with Santander for years I'm really considering moving banks. This new app is shocking, it's so slow, keeps cutting off. Get your act together santander

I think the new app is awful. Takes forever to get in, kicks you out halfway through logging on. Very very slow. I have been trying to get on for the last 2 hours. Considering changing my account and I have been with them for years.

Company does not work with you. Made my payment a few days late during a holiday weekend. Wouldn’t have been late if wasn’t for the holiday. They didn’t care still charged the late fee. THEY SUCK!!!!

We have had accounts with AbbeyNatioal / Santander for over 40years . We currently live in South Africa and have told the bank we do not have a reliable postal service. We have now discovered to our horror they are in the process of closing all accounts because they sent letters in February which we've received on 31st May . We have now been told the accounts are being closed because we did not respond. We are totally stranded now without funds to pay our bills and everyday living expenses. We have appealed to them to help to no avail. We have a substantial amount of money with them and are very concerned that they say they are going to send a cheque despite telling them time again We do not have a postal system which is the cause of this awful situation in the first place . Amy help would be appreciated.

After 47 minutes waiting on the phone the girl who took the call asked my name not acc no. Then said just a minute and hung up. Absolutely disgusting customer service. It's shocking but reading your reviews not surprising.

The layout and graphics of this app doesn't allow you to see quickly see what's going out like the old app Awkward to use

Tried to open an account for my son. 8 applications, 2 visits to a branch and 4 phone calls and still no account. Poor communication and totally disregard for customer satisfaction. Don’t bother with this shoddy bank

The new version of the app is slow logs out quickly when you want to stay logged in please go back to the old Santander app

My bank account were closed with no explanation and this is a nightmare cause as you know you schedule all your payment from the account and people at the Branch are not polite and professional specially branch located in Dedham square, MA where the manager do not leave her chair to speak to customer and treat you like you’re from another planet!! Sorry Santander you need improve your customer relations. I requested an explanation but so far nothing they just ask me if I requested to close the account but I did not and they were in shock o know what was happening!!! I am afraid this is a glitch but whatever I am moving forward!! Thank you

I wish I could give them 0 stars. If I had known that I would have so much hassel and issues with this company I never would have signed with them. Its been a constent battle of them over charging me and taking two payments at once and all ways sending me incorrect bills that are not what I owe. This company litterally will rob you blind do not work with them.

If I could give them no stars I would. The website works maybe 10% of the time, and they cap what you can pay towards the balance. I paid my debt 100% off just to never have to deal with them again.

They are horrible, I disputed a charge of an item never received and they took the side of the seller. Who send no proof of delivery. Because they verified address with UPS and UPS stated delivered with a picture of the floor and someone's foot as delivered. Obviously was not delivered. Not quite sure how that is proof. So UPS sucks too.

Where to begin?...this is specifically to do with their Livingston branch, which is the nearest branch to me. I have both physical and mental health issues which Santander are fully aware of. Last month I went into the Livingston branch to request a replacement card due to multiple issues with the existing card. I had to explain three times what the issues were and was told that the only way to get a new card was to block my existing card and wait up to 7 days for a replacement. The situation escalated but eventually they issued a new card & PIN without blocking the existing one. Last week I received a letter telling me that they are going to close my account in less than a fortnight because of my attitude towards their staff. I immediately raised a complaint about this and the obvious disability discrimination by their staff. I received a phone call at 4.50pm today informing me that they are going ahead with the account closure and that they are not interested in hearing my side of what happened. I haven't given the full details here, as I fully intend to refer the matter to the Financial Conduct Authority. I DO take ownership of my behaviour but it's really a shame that Santander are refusing to take ownership of their's. I believe the FCA will make them see the error of their ways. In short though, if you are a disabled person-DO NOT BANK WITH SANTANDER!
