SANTANDER.CO.UK I called them - yes, you cannot write them about problems like that, they will refuse to deal with it, you have to call them and the phone number is not even free - because there were some amounts of "money out" with this label: "CARD PAYMENT TO CIS INSURANCE M". Never made such payments, I do not even know who they are and if you search for "CIS INSURANCE M" on the internet https://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/08448712300/2 is the sole result you will get, a web-page in which "cis insurance m" is described as scammer! What? What kind of bank is the one which make payments to unknown entities? In short, they told me they would investigate, they refunded me the money and today, some days after, I see there are other amounts of money taken from "CIS INSURANCE M", with the label "REFUND AT CIS INSURANCE M". How is it possible? Basically, someone stole my money, I have been refunded and today there are other steals linked to the same entity, "CIS INSURANCE M"? What? Why SANTANDER.CO.UK did not tell me? They did not phone me, they did not send me an e-mail, nor a message through their internal message system. Really disappointed! They should actually care more, be more attentive, do not charge me and offer the possibility to discuss such issues via e-mail instead of sending me their advertisements to invest with them or to tell me how much they value my safety.. yes, I have seen! Last time I had to waste my time and pay a 7-pound phone call to remedy this, why they just do not 'block' payments towards this "CIS INSURANCE M"? By the way, they told me they would block immediately my card, but someone is still stealing my money. SANTANDER.CO.UK, just do your job and do not help scammers!

I have for many years held a Visa Debit Card with Santander. They have just renewed my card & changed to a MasterCard Debit Card. I am mostly in Australia & have shopped no differently with my new mastercard. I have been charged an OUTRAGEOUS amount for conversion fee. I have just spoken with compliant department & as usual the same regurgitated BS.

I took out a personal installment loan with Santander Bank 1.5 years ago. the repayment process method is antiquated and communication is a nightmare. It doesn't allow for payments to be made through my online account (why on earth not??) so have to make it through my bank account which sends a check and takes 10-12 days. They changed their mailing address and announced it within a paper bill, who looks at paper bills? No email notification, nothing, so they returned the check, $35 from my bank, another $35 from Santander. Called and was transferred four times and still wasn't connected with a rep that could even look at my account, let alone help me. While waiting for the last transfer, 40 minutes later, I went onto my credit card accounts, found a zero balance transfer offer and paid it off. I'll never do business with them again. And don't even get me started on the fees - $3 paper statements, $25 checking, $30 new card, $2 ATM balance inquiry for members- to check how much of your money they have? outrageous ATM fees for non-members...No thanks.

I have been a loyal customer for years and yet again have let me down they no about my disabilities and I can not cope with any change and if I have to deal with any change i need time to sort it out but yesterday something happened so I called this company and I was promised a call back from them yesterday and I have heard nothing from them and also I have heard nothing back from them today either even after I contacted them and I was promised a call back but nothing has happend and I even told them that I would switch if the issue does not get sorted

I am completely shocked with Santander and am now stuck on an exploitative mortgage contract for 5 years. Unbelievable that my extortionately high early repayment charge of £15,800 would remain the same whether it's my first day of the contract or the last day of my 5th year. Absolutely appalling that the early repayment charge remains the same throughout the 5 years and shocking that a so called reputable High St bank would have such a product on their books. All other financial contracts reputable organisations offer seem to have reasonable and sliding early repayment charges (decreases closer to the end of your contract) e.g. loans, credit cards and mobile and broadband contracts. They really screwed me over and the customer service team were not helpful and refused to explain why their terms and conditions are akin to that of pay day loan companies/adverse loan companies. I would think twice about taking products from them

Bank teller stole my £100. 00 didn't include it with rest of money and he never gave back the paying book, which had to be collected the next day, just the savings book which he entered the entry, which I was told later they no longer use the book only by paying book. I complained to the fraud department and was later told to speak with the teller, he denied it so I have now closed my account with them after being a member for 32 years, there no longer a good bank and waiting times are very long, moreover my 2 brother 's who both have the same initials whom also bank with them, they have mixed up their account number 's with the other on letter's. It was reported twice and few months later it was back to the same again. The staff is incompetent. What sort of bank does that ?????

There are no words to describe what a scam Santander is. They out of the blue closed our business account without explaining why and then they are holding to our money and won't write a cheque unless it is in business name. but we only have one business account and opening a new one has been really challenging given the current circumstances. it has been 3 months and the business has gone bankrupt. so even 1 star is too much for them really.

Absolutely disgusting non service ever. Easyjet returned a cancelled payment to them for me, but I had closed my credit card account with them. Santander say they returned the refund to Easyjet but refuse to give proof, Easyjet say they havent received it but are prepared to refund again if Santander give written proof - Santander refuse this request. I am nearly £300 out of pocket. I am a 70 year old disabled pensioner.

The worst bank to do transactions with the another account abroad. Not helpful and not giving advice to the customer. I had a worst experience ever. Don't do transactions with this bank or even better dont open account with this bank at all.

rubbish and useless bank (sorry criminal organisation) that plays god with your money...they stole my tax rebate a year ago ..no eplanations and no communication.....investigators are useless and do nothing and are not allowed to be contacted...avoid these crooks like a dose of the CLAP

They blocked/stopped my account even after answering/satisfying security questions over an international transfer. Said the "security check" could take up to 15 days! Dumbfounded!!! . Would have happily left me to starve, if it weren't for legislation that a temporary withdrawal facility" (I.e temp opening of the block) allows me to make an over the counter withdrawal, but then the block is re-applied and I'd have to go through it all again - AFTER waiting three hours in store JUST to find that out from a jobsworth "Manager" with a disrespectful poker face. Complete ****show. I have vulnerability issues and they couldn't give a toss. On threatening to write to my MP and posting all over social media about their ****show, I was asked by the other jobsworth automaton "who was my MP and WHICH social media platform will you post it on?"!!! Will be sending THAT to their CEO, but don't expect that to lead to anywhere as they only want your money and there's no punishment doled out to them for lack of care, use and brain cells.

I visited Santander, Eastham branch to deposit a cheque and severed by Tracy Counter Service Advisor she was given excellent great service and she is very friendly and helpful to make me very happy.

£1400 was paid into my account yesterday, by direct bank transfer from Amazon and therefore already cleared. But it is showing as not cleared and I cannot access my funds. MY funds, not Santander's. I was told they needed to carry out security checks which is absolute rubbish. I've emailed them and posted on their facebook page and phoned and all the response I get is that they are investigating. I want my money. I don't want an investigation. My son is special needs and lives in supported housing. Since the pandemic, he cannot go out and has had his meals cooked for him. I cannot pay the bill for this because Santander has my money. I have important bills to pay which I can't pay. This is theft, pure and simple. I am furious. I have put in a complaint with the Banking Ombudsman but I won't hold my breath.

After trying several times unsuccessfully to try and get into my on-line banking. I decided to give on line-banking a call Jonathan answered the phone. I am very impressed with his kind help and patience. As an older person I am not as quick as I used to be. But within 20 minutes he had my account sorted I very much appreciated Jonathan's help and feel he is a great asset to your on line banking

They aren’t deserved even 1 star from me. This his the most racist bank in Spain, besides BBVA. I am Asian. Anytime i went there for any services, they saw me and ignored me, left me waiting till whenever their customers done. First time I didn’t know that, I didn’t think they were treating me by their racist thought, i was standing to wait till the end. I felt very bad, i talked to my friends, who had the same experience, they told me that was racist problem. After that, i have had many bad experiences with them. Such as, i was entering the security machine, they blocked me there, ignored that they didn’t see me to unlock the machine’s door, i was staying there try to knock the door with my scary feeling, until they opened it, the office is very small, ofcoz they saw me but just played it. Another time, i came there early, waited in the line, until not yet 12am to get to the cashier place, then she said “sorry we can’t take any more service for cashier ‘s money, but if they closed why they let me line up in the line to go to cashier? Until nearly one hour waiting for their “ slow service”??? They could not tell me that the cashier not work but let me wait? And yes, it was about racist! And today, 25/02/2021, at Santander Cth.Canillas 70, this is the office that has made all those problems to me as i have told you, and after today i decide to decline their service forever in my life! I went their this morning, took the number, waited for the CS tables, which has 2 tables only, there not many people waiting, i have been nearly 1 hour waiting for those 2 tables, until my turn, the woman in the table near the window standed up and left for meal?!? At 12:50pm??? Then the other woman who seated in the table inside, she was still with one customer, i was very angry already, but i decides to wait for her, then after awhile, suddenly a woman customer appeared, seems they know each other, because the CS woman hadn’t said a word such as “buenas” to me, but she said “buenos días” very friendly with the woman, anyway i was waiting still, then the CS woman told that customer to take the number and . After she finished with the customer, i was standing waiting infront of her, but she waved the woman customer to come to her table??? I was shocked, i showed my wonder by look at her, she looked at me and just moved her hand to make “a signal” to tell me to wait??? Wth!?? OMG! I was just wanting to stand to her table and shout, but i was just leaving, i thought that kind of people and service don’t deserved for any words from me, i am a bit pity because I didn’t at least say something to let them know how horrible they are. But anyway, I cannot believe this is how the “best bank in Spain” service is! Please stop saying they’re the best, they really NEED TO FEEL ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES TO THINK THEY ARE THE BEST! I was cheated by BBVA bank in Spain, to pay a lot of money for nothing, just because of their cheating CS, they may be racist too. But SANTANDER BANK IS DEFINITELY RACIST BANK! If you are Asian, just don’t put yourself in this bank service, just a nightmare! Really! What decade are you living in? How could you be low-educated like that, Santander bank of Spain??? 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Wow never in my life have I ever been treated so badly by an organisation. Stay clear of santander when you complain to them for a mistake there branch made on your account they barr you from branch and give you 60 days to find another account as they are closing yours down then when you switch to another bank using the switching from new bank they reject the switch . When you make an official complaint for the bad treatment the complaints department call you back and lie they couldn't speak to there staff involved as they were on holiday and by chance the recorded phone call by there branch manager being rude and unprofessional happens to have disappeared.

Santander bank promises to protect their customers and our money. Two weeks ago while making legitimate purchases in my city of Brooklyn NYC, Santander bank shut off my debit card THREE times in 2 days and I had to verify my purchases. How embarrassing. However, a week later, somebody "skimmed my card and made over $500 of unauthorized purchases 800 miles away in Philadelphia PA. Not only did Santander bank not notify me, shut off my card, but allowed these purchases and told me to file a claim with them. After filing the claim, Santander Bank decided to only give me $25.00 back from the fraudulent purchases. This is an insult to me and every customer who decided or will decide to use this bank. DO NOT USE SANTANDER BANK! SANTANDER BANK WILL NOT PROTECT YOUR MONEY. I asked to speak to a manager and my request was denied. I have now spent over an hour and a half on hold trying to speak to a manager.No one will help me. DO NOT BANK AT SANTANDER. THIS BANK IS THE WORST!!!
