“The Sawgrass Print Utility with the SG1000 is horrible. It is extreamly slow and laggy. it should not take 9 to 11 minutes from opening a file, setting it up and finally getting A print. Somtimes it just stops and doesnt even print. I have opened a ticket and we have been emailing back and forth for 3 weeks with NO resolution so far. Stay Far away until they sort out the Sawgrass Print Utility they are forcing you to use to use their printers.”
“Awful. This company thinks people will buy their overpriced ink because they mess with prints if anyone uses off brand inks! All that will happen is people will disable/ uninstall their crappy software, work around it, and buy a different brand as soon as their sawgrass stops working or before.”
“Bought the Sawgrass printer and it works great, easy set up, easy use, no problems. However there is limited ink when starting out because of the start up. Now I am restricted to use only SAWGRASS INK AND THAT'S CRAZY!!!!! I purchased ink on amazon that said for use with sg500 and sg1000, didn't realize it was a brand called Hippo. Installed the hippo ink and way and the quality was far greater than the original Sawgrass ink and when the Hippo ink was working before the update on the Sawgrass my prints were beautiful. Then this update happened and now I can not use y print er. If SAWGRASS wants to MONOPOLIZE on ink I will just use an Eco Tank. The minor "troubles" with an Eco Tank are far worth going through than spending $300 on ink when I run out. SOOOOO disappointing, very unhappy.”
