“Was grateful that the chair was waiting on the ship but the chair was OLD and one foot rest would not stay up so when he got in or out of the chair he was hit by the steel rest. VERY disappointed and once we sailed NOTHING I could do about it.”

You refused to bring a replacement until the afternoon, so I missed a tour which was only offered once a week. You cost me a whole day of my vacation.

“Prior to my last rental, scoot around had excellent service. My last rental was a very bad experience. My scooter was not in my room when I arrived on the ship. When it did arrive, it barely worked a day. I contacted scoot around about the problem. We performed the recommended troubleshooting and the scooter worked for another day. After that, the scooter did not work at all. I made another call, but of course, the ship was sailing and could not help. The ship provided a temp rental with many conditions that were not acceptable.”

“The young man who brought the scooter to me before my cruise failed to make sure I knew I could adjust the scooter so I would have more leg room. I tried turning what I thought would adjust it on about the 3rd or 4th day but the big knob would not turn so I didn't think it could be adjusted. I mention that it was too bad that I didn't get more leg room to the young man who went with me to the pick up spot when I returned and he was surprised that the young man at the start of the cruise didn't tell me. Due to my severe knee pain it was very uncomfortable getting in and out of the scooter to whole 7 days! That was disappointing.”
“I was very disappointed with the wheelchair I rented. The footpads were bent and very close to the ground making it impossible to use when there were any bumps or to cross the road. They kept getting caught. We only used it 1 out of 10 days and I used the walker we brought. I know it was a busy time of year but still. I didn't bother calling because you had trouble lining up any device for me. My previous rental was great.”
“The scooter broke while on my cruise and I had to have the crew call you and some how get it going again. However, I did lose a day without it because it was a faulty battery or booster cable. This is the second time something like this has happened to me and if it happens again, I am through with scootaround. I have already talked to your people about this.”

Had to cancel our plans for the day because I didn't have the scooter. Tried to get reimbursed but company said no because I did get it that day. I asked for some consideration regarding the charges a number of times & after much back & forth, received a partial credit back.
