“I wasn't able to use it because no one showed me how to break it down. It was too heavy and we needed to get it from the airport hotel to the city. Being 80 years old we could not get it where we needed it even though I explained when I rented it what I was able to do and not do. I was very disapointed”
“Hi, prepaid to have a scooter round, delivered to the my port of departure. The scooter was not there when I arrived at Seward Alaska when I call to inform them, they said that they would you send it to my next port of call, which was Sitka Alaska and it never showed up there either. So I got around the best way I could for the entire cruise. I won’t use you again you can bet on that.”
“Cruising on Carnival I picked the scooter outside the terminal only to have the scooter light blinking at me and the charging gauge showing it needed charging in yellow. I notificed the person at Scootaround about the lack of charging and he agreed it should have been fully charged. While in the terminal the elevator was down so I plugged the scooter in for 20 minutes to help charge it some. Once I got to the room I charged the scooter for two hours so I could use it for a couple of hours that night but it took overnight charging to get back to full charge. It should have never been given to me not being charged. Usually on Royal Caribbean and Celebrity I receive it either in the room or delivered to the room fully charged. My husband went to get my lunch while I stayed in the room to let the scooter charge. Not happy with the way my cruise had started out.”
“When I arrived at the Tampa Royal Caribbean cruise terminal. I was told where to pick up my Rollater Walker, it was not there. I had to walk around, very uncomfortably, until finally someone from the cruise line located where it was being held. It took about 20 minutes, with everyone trying to get on board around me. To locate it. I was not happy. I would prefer to have it in my room when I arrive. I will probably take my own next time.”

It made us to loos a vacation day, because my mom is not able to walk and the scooter arrived to hotel 1 day after.
Very bas experience and no refound”

“The equipment was less than ideal. It pulled to the right, was scratched, covered with half removed decals and had a front wheel that was damaged. We used Scoot Around last July and had a great experience.”
“The battery charger did not work, only had the use of scooter for 2 days on cruise. It ruined the cruise for my wife, since we had to stay on the boat and couldn't get around. Had to call several times to get partial credit....NOT HAPPY!!”

“Got the scooter late and it didn't work on rugs. Was very slow on regular floors. Had to be pushed back to our room multiple times and we missed 2 ports on our cruise because we didn't trust the scooter to go off the boat.”
“Well my scooter ran out of battery in the middle of the hall on my cruise and I had to have a stranger push me to my cabin. The juice would die while going over floor extensions. I cut my knee as the door closed on me due to this. Called after the cruise and was told I would get a refund but nothing has shown yet. Never had an issue with scoot around before so I was shocked.”
“I rented it at 1130. Still charged 70 daily rate. Then it ran out of battery at 330 very poor service when I returned it. All they said was thanks for returning it.”
“Bed was not there when we got there and was not put to gather correctly. We were on a cruise and had to have someone help us after we had sailed. Cause it was not there in a timely manner.”
“I only gave 3 stars because we were on a cruise ship and the hoyer lift that I rented wasn’t at my room at the time of sailing. After calling the company and being given several different answers it finally arrived! She it arrived and we went to use it the cylinder was t any good and the ship had already sailed off!!! I am handicapped and require total body care. The wonderful engineers with the help of my brother in law figured out the problem and then they were able to repair the cylinder and I was then good to go! It was stressful and the ships staff were extremely helpful. My daughter who takes care of me ran around going back and forth to the customer service desk calling your company. I didn’t get a refund or a genuine apology from the company for the almost 48 hours that I went without the lift that I paid for! I rent from this company for every cruise and I think it’s a shame how this situation was handled!”
