“The first scooter was not very clean. It had a cracked glass in the spread control the second day it was making a loud strange noise when on a tile surface. I turned it in .I was very lucky they had a spare one to use. I was very dirty but ran well.”
“I only gave 3 stars because we were on a cruise ship and the hoyer lift that I rented wasn’t at my room at the time of sailing. After calling the company and being given several different answers it finally arrived! She it arrived and we went to use it the cylinder was t any good and the ship had already sailed off!!! I am handicapped and require total body care. The wonderful engineers with the help of my brother in law figured out the problem and then they were able to repair the cylinder and I was then good to go! It was stressful and the ships staff were extremely helpful. My daughter who takes care of me ran around going back and forth to the customer service desk calling your company. I didn’t get a refund or a genuine apology from the company for the almost 48 hours that I went without the lift that I paid for! I rent from this company for every cruise and I think it’s a shame how this situation was handled!”
“Pick up and drop off at the cruise terminal was seamless. The scooter, however, was a little rough on the edges. Part of it was coming off, and there was a definite scuffing sound as I tooled down the aisles (maybe something was rubbing again a tire?). The battery lasted, though, and I had no real mechanical problems with it. I just felt like it had been used and abused in the past.”
“Scootaround is not accommodating with their pick up times which effected the end of my vacation. This is the second time their schedule was more important than the customer. There won't be a third time.”
“Whenever we attend a car show we rent a scooter. We've never had any problems with the scooters. The staff are very knowledgeable,friendly and attentive. I do wish they had a refund policy as our last show was rained out and for the last day we didn't even use a scooter. Would be nice if they would put a one day credit towards our next rental!”
“I loved the scooter so I got myself one. and the salty switch under the seat went out. I called Michael Yaremus. I missed his call. He went on vacation last Thanksgiving 2022. I called him and no returned calls.”
