“Bideford store is a great place to shop in, staff are very friendly and welcoming. You either check in with the tablet or in the carpark on the app, if you don't have details they are more than happy to do it at the ask. Ordering either via tablet,app or desk. Not sure why there is so much negative around the place for this company, either people don't like change or have not been educated correctly on how to us things like the app. Yes some items are not in stock, but can be the next day. clearly shows on the tablet or website if it's in stock before you order.”

“I am a business owner of a 247 plumbing and heating company. My local branch is Staples corner. As you can imagine I have 100s of orders per week from this store. In the last 3 years I’ve never had a problem or an issue. I’m always welcomed with a smile and on some days a free hot drink and donut. As a loyal regular customer I feel valued and respected. Due to the great consistent service from Screwfix it has enabled me to expand my company. I just wanted to take time out to say THANKYOU to the Staples corner team!!! 😊 I would like to give recognition to Viraj, Suruj & Layla. I feel that they always go above and beyond! They are all a great example of great customer service and a true asset to Screwfix.”

“I know nothing about plumbing. Jamie in the Cathedral store at Guildford was incredibly helpful today in getting me the right product for the job ( the " automatic stop " valve on a loo cistern had broken ). He genuinely wanted to help and got three different types of valves out before we landed on the right one. It was only a £7 transaction but will I will certainly go back and recommend the store to others too.”

“First time in visiting Priorswood Branch but was amazed at the service and knowledge of staff . Daniel Donovan especially . My cottage was flooded and so I was both distraught and anxious when purchasing a wet and dry vacuum. He not only calmed me down but gave good advice and much needed support . First class service all round .”

“I required a chainsaw and as usual they have a great selection plus loads of spare chains and oil. The staff are very knowledgeable and all on hand to help. The company really impressed me over the lockdown period of covid.”

“Steveo. Bought "Fix All" sealant from Mildenhall Branch,served by Lucie, got home, found the tiny writing saying it was no good for the work I needed to do. Went back the day after, again served by Lucie, who refunded the "Fix All" sealant then searched and found a suitable sealant for me. Excellent service,very pleased.”

“Ordered a product for delivery to my old address by mistake. Item already recorded as delivered by Parcelforce (who i was unable to contact). Contacted Screwfix Customer Service (Jilly). Within thirty minutes item had been traced. The driver had left it at the nearest Screwfix counter after it was rejected at the delivery address. It was delivered to my new address the next day.”

“I have used the Ferndown store many times this year for all sorts from plumbing and door fittings, screws, fasteners, some Dewalt power tools and a small generator. Aside from an extra battery, which was too expensive, the tools were very competitively priced and everything has either been in stock locally or available next day. Staff have been very helpful and when I wanted to cancel an order, did so efficiently with a full refund applied fast. It is my go-to store locally for any diy needs.”
