my friend was moving out her house in November 2015 she offered me her sofa it had been bought in march that year hardly used as she was never in. The settee has completely gone in the middle and the arms the matériel is so thin the sponge color shows through when using the Hoover even on the chairs that are hardly ever used just found out that the sofa is from scs as its all going to the tip asap cant believe i was considering buying a sofa from scs DO NOT BE TEMPTED BY THE ADVERTS i will never use this company

Ordered a corner sofa expressed which way I wanted the sofa to go they delivered the wrong sofa wrong corner shape tried to get it sorted customer service terrible the sofa is useless to me this way round my sister was with me when I asked for the sofa to be the way I needed scs say the paper work does not say this it's not my fault your salesman didn't put the correct information on the order I have witness who heard me tell the salesman which way the sofa should be I will be taking this further

Only had are settee 6 months, paid extra money to have better foam in cushions only two months of buying cushion on cuddle couch very poor felt like I was sitting on springs, too be fair they sent engineer out and the first engineer stared telling me sorry s about foam in other people's houses and said if they gave me new cushion it would go the same way, I replied only had it 2 months and I'm only 13 stone.So I phoned scs complaint about engineer and they said we will send another from homeserve so new engineer came and was in my house for 5mins and said yes will get replacement. All good new cushion came with fabric on as well very pleased. Then last week had enough cushion went same way as the first one also arm on settee felt very flat which I only notice as I kept on having to pull my self up as cushion was so soft not firm ie remember we paid extra money too have firmer cushions. So phoned up and they said we will send another engineer out I asked if they could send the engineer I had second time.Engineer came and it was the first one he said scs only have one supplier they use for foam the other cushions on are two seater fine don't no why this one keeps going might be because it's bigger but surely they have skills to make the foam for this size feels like I'm banging my head against the wall. So then he opened couch up to look inside at the arm and two are amazement they used cardboard on the arms ,shocking so he wrote his report. Week later had letter saying sorry about issues and phone up to agree too engineer to come and repair fault, so I phoned and said yes I would agree and said will they be sending new cushion and she replied no ,so I said I'm not happy so I disagree with desion and now they have exculated. Wish I went to dfs as they have own factory. Scs buy there settees from different suppliers looks like mine is from China. The dispute still going on. I would be happy if they gave me £70 and I buy new foam .Not happy 🤔

Will never go there again and not recommend to anyone. Watch what you sign for. READ carefully. They won't listen to you once you signed the paper.

I will never buy furniture from ScS again. The quality they deliver is lower than displayed in their stores. The delivery takes 6 to 8 weeks. They were rude when called to book the delivery, gave me only one day option and as I couldn't stay home on that day she told me they cannot store my furniture, will have to pay for storage and my sofa will be sent somewhere. When finally day booked they don't confirm by email, nor text. I'm completely disappointed and will never buy from them. Customer

Endurance “leather”peeling off after 2years of minimal use and is only fit for the skip “leather” is cheap fake so I would recommend giving ScS a wide berth

Carpets fitters didn’t arrive till 2pm in the afternoon an didn’t get my house carpeted until 830pm on a Friday night

The store manager advises me that you were looking to purchase a more expensive carpet, but at this moment you were unable to afford the additional cost. Whilst I do understand that you are upset with the durability of your flooring I have reviewed the offers that have been made to you to date and can confirm that in my view these offers are entirely reasonable and in keeping with your rights as a consumer. Should you wish to have an independent review of the offer that has been made to you, we are members of Retail ADR and we can provide you with their details. Please feel free to take advice on the offer that has been made to you, as we remain confident that it is fair and reasonable in all the circumstances. In order to bring this matter to a conclusion we will be sending you the refund that has been offered to you, there will be no requirement to uplift your current flooring. They are unwillingly refunding me the payment I made over TWO years ago Because they refuse to let me choose replacement carpet to the same value of the carpet I have down ! Recap. Two yrs ago . Waited in all day , carpet being fitted ,didnt come! Two weeks later fitted carpet . Few months later...HOLES , backing coming off . Year later, replacing carpet , show up, wrong colour. Weeks later for replacement carpet. Few months later all creased , and holes . Two years on I want a different make as I daren't have the same make . The won't deduct the cost of the carpet price as in store today. So have less off my carpet. I choose more expensive. Go home and organise cash to pay difference..sorted the same day . Only to receive a response ...this is how they respond. Refunding me the money I paid over TWO years ago . They won't replace like for like on price , only give me the same poor quality carpet. I'm out of pocket..and had TWO carpets down , both fell apart . They are REFUSING to supply me with a carpet fit for purpose.

Carpet fraying and fallen off stairs due to poor fitting joint in lounge carpet as mis measured and lino in kitchen cut wrong then smeared silicone over to hide worst company have ever dealt with

The after care service is extremely poor. Purchased a carpet and it is not even 2years old and has begun to wear. When contacting them they advised looking at the pictures I sent that it was Heal and Toe damage as the carpet was on my stairs. Never had this problem in the past so asked for it to be inspected and even before they came out I received a letter saying the case was closed as it was heal and toe damage so called them. They apologised and advised they would be out to check it. We waited two months for the result only to get almost the same letter again. When the carpet was purchased we were assured it was good quality and hard wearing suitable for stairs. There are no children in the house just two adults so obviously poor quality.

DO NOT BUY FROM SCS. After about 6 month I noticed that the 3 seater which I paid £1800 for was sagging on one side. When the upholsterer came to assess the chair, before he even looked at it he started coming out with excuses about the sagging. I told him that as a single parent that I sat in the middle and my 3 year old sat either side when we sat on that seat. He then said that I could be telling him anything (basically calling me a liar), I aske if he was saying I was lying and his comment was ( I get told allsorts) . I obviously was not happy and asked if he thought that an £1800 chair should be in that condition after 6 month, which was not even used that often as I work full time and my son was at nursery 4 days a week. Again he replied with contempt saying that as soon as you sit on the seat the cushions sink and that he had 40 years experience. I told him I didn't care about his 40 years of experience and that it should not be in the condition it is already. When I received the report it said that the foam will soften in the first few months of normal use until they find their natural balance. This is quite normal and to be expected. Always ensure seats receive equal use. If this is the case, how come not 1 of any previous chairs (approx. 8) has sagged like this before, and this was the most expensive.
