“We live in Boston, MA USA and I found Sebastus Sailing online. At the beginning I was very skeptical about paying in advance and trusting them to arrange my family yachting trip to Greece. As I worked with their staff, I became comfortable with them based on their knowledge, professionalism, responsiveness, flexibility, patience, and ability to find me the right yacht on my preferred dates and arrange for me to speak with the Skipper about my itinerary. We were still tentative when we reached the Zea Marina but once we saw the Yacht and the crew we were absolutely thrilled. The yacht was as promised, the crew was great, provisions were very well stocked. We had a fantastic vacation, and we are very thankful to Sebastus Sailing for organizing such a fabulous vacation. I have recommended them to my friends and would use them in the future in a heartbeat. Thank you! Sebastus Sailing.”

We had a very good time, I can only recommend this company!! One little infomation to share with future customers: it would have been good to know in advance, that the skipper needs to be paid directly and is not a part of the whole invoice.”

Wir wurden herzlich am Hafen empfangen und hatten einen tollen Kapitän welcher uns schöne Orte/Buchten gezeigt hat und leckeres Essen gekocht hat. “Sebastus was very helpful in allocating sailboat for us. Good initial service. However, when we arrived on island close to sailboat base we realized that Sebastus had little control over the actual quality of the sailboat that belong to a 3rd party yacht owner company. The local transportation service to sailboat base also failed completely. We had to charter local taxi on the spot. Arriving at the sailboat base we experienced 2+ hours of extra delays due to delayed vessel cleaning service and failures in the anchor winch mechanics. We had paid a premium to charter a new sailboat . However, the actual sailboat suffered from non existent maintenance. Lots of equipments like sails, anchor handling, and furniture suffered from poor conditions after extremely heavy wear and tier over the last 4 years of operations. Some international safety equipment was also missing, like storm sea anchor. Vessel owner just pointed at the sun when I asked for this safety equipment. The sailboat quality did not match the pictures in the charter prospect and was of course way below our expectations.”

“Our booking agent was in constant communication with us. Our captain was a seasoned and expert sailor. He allowed my husband to sail 70 percent of the trip, which is what he’d hoped for. He actually accompanied us to the market for our week’s provisions with boxes to pack them and a hand truck to get them back to the boat. We were lucky to have 7 sunny days and mostly good winds. The monohull had two heads and three berths. It was perfect for the two of us ❤️”
