This company takes our money for disability insurance, after being disabled and getting payments for 11 years they abruptly cut my wife off for no reason, good thing I saw this coming and hired a reputable attorney to pull their scammer card on the stand in a court of law , I can’t wait to see these fools fall apart in court and get all the back pay with interest not to mention the attorney fees they will be paying 🤣

If I could give zero stars, I would. Heartless individuals who claim they know more than a doctor. Sad their personal opinion takes precedence over a medical professional.

If I could give them a zero, I would. My doctor submitted paperwork on 9/28. They denied the claim. My doctor resubmit the paperwork twice and it took over a month to be marked as received. The paperwork was submitted to appeals department 2 weeks go but, has not been assigned. They are not helpful and it's a call center. Also, information given is not consistent. 😡🤬 Who ever gave them a 5 was paid or work there.

My parked car got hit by a rental car it took me 4 months to get rectified and they played around all the time with this claim very unhappy with the fact that I was not in my car and had to go without one for 4 months now still trying to get my car put back together barely covered costs

A company with criminal employee are in Sedgwick that took the job of a lost adjuster to a new level lol. He is the prosecutor, the jury, the judge and the executional. I said to him i will make a complaint against him for his bad behaviour and services for discrimination and was told if i do make the complaint against him the situation will get worst. But i went ahead and made the complaint anyway. Guess what, he started investigating me personal not the insurance claim anymore and set up a survallance to my personal home address not the business i was representing or visit the business anymore. I am just a representative to the claim as a point of contact not the owner of the business. He illegally broken into my personal home adddress during his survallance on me when was not in the house, definitely watching when i let home and nobody in, broke my gate key to gain access to my property and rack all my personal belongings and even set up evidence for himself that wasnt there just like an american "dirty cop". The furniest part of it is that any compensation paid doesnt come to me personally as i am not the owner of the business and i have never had a business nor my home insured with those that passed my representative information to him. He violated my right as a person just because i made a complaint against him because i also said i dont want to deal with him anymore. Terrible. He said to me he has been doing this job for 10yrs meaning breaking into peoples personal home for 10yrs. This will be his last job because i will go to the highest court in the land for the violation of my civil and human rights. I have worked for more than 30ys in my life with no criminal record for someone to think he can take up a MI6 /. MI5 job and a lost adjuster job. Fact is, i am NOT the owner of the business making the claim but just a representing, guest what.... the insurer doesn't even exist as we have no way to talk to this insurer direct. Sedgwick is a company created to violates people's human in the UK and thinks they can always get away with it. Date of experience: 13 November 2023

awful company, good luck getting paid for any sick days. I had covid and I went through all the necessary steps to get approved I check my claims and I've been denied? don't know the reason I took the paperwork they made ME print out to my doctor and he filled out all of the documents for me. I'm not in a great place right now and I need that money. If I had known sedgwick would be this heartless and evil I would have just went into work with Covid and told no one I had it.

I wish I could give them zero stars due their incompetence My second claim check due today 12.01 was never paid Reason is that when I called on 11.8 and requested an extention the paperwork was never sent It was approved today But I have to wait until 12.15 for only 3 weeks What happened to week one And I cannot wait 2 more weeks and have I week withheld when it was not my fault Everytime you call them they put you into the case managers voice mail. And of course they never call back I am still waiting for a call back, either from a supervisor or the case manager as well And of course you cannot speak to anyone over the weekend What an ongoing nightmare I have never had a short term disabilty claim with Chase Too bad 5hey selected a D list company

Sedgwick is not here to pay out money to anyone, but companies keep paying them to handle all their company claims so they don't have to worry about it. Sounds like a waste of company money to me when you hire someone as low down as Sedgwick to take care of your employees. Sounds like you don't care about your employees either if you hire Sedgwick. Sedgwick is a company that doesn't care about PEOPLE PERIOD!

This place is terrible I have had Sedgwick as my claims insurance thru PetSmart for a dog bite since January of this year and it has an absolute horrible time with them. Lack of communication, constantly changing my claims examiner and adjuster without informing my of the change or giving my contact information for them. Even supervising adjuster would and still do straight up ignore my questions, emails, and voice mails. If the did call it was always just before end of day and if they responded by email it was never an actual answer. People constantly fired, or on medical right as I finally finally find out who my adjuster is only to be sent back to the same supervisor who continued to ignore me. If you end up having to deal with Sedgwick get a lawyer to deal with them because this past year has been the worst I have ever had.

I got hurt on the job. My job had a video of the injury, however when I made a claim about the i jury( a few days later because ive already had bad experiences with sedwick) my job took care of everything. I waited a month before finally hearing back that my claim was denied because I didnt look like I was in any pain, I was still walking and doing my job. I told them I have a high pain tolerance but they waived me off. I will have been out almost 2 months because of this injury and I got screwed over by sedwick. And now because my claim was denied I have to go back to work before the doctor told me too, I cant do my physical therapy because it got denied by them. Whatever you do don't trust these people they are awful and will screw you just so they do not have to pay out.

The insurance company denied my claim due to the fact I went to work the next day. They said that since I did that there was no proof of me getting injured even though Wal-Mart had video proof of the injury. I recommend people look into who is the workman's comp insurance company for their employer. If it is sedgwick highly recommend you look somewhere else or be extremely careful. They will not help or take care of you. I think a letter to congress about this garbage insurance company is next.

This company is pure evil..they make money off the consumer by giving you the run around for months then denying your claim. Steve Rizzo does not even have the guts to call you by phone and is always "out of the office" and his stupervisor Dawn Grant can't even return phone calls. This company teaches it's employees how to legally scam the consumer and deny claims. And shame on the big companies that hire this company to handle their claims. I will never shop at Harris Teeter again and will advise everyone I come in contact with not to shop there as well. I broke a tooth on a gravel like substance in crunchy peanut butter that Harris Teeter put their label on. Don't ever expect Harris Teeter to stand behind their product. This is the problem with our world today: corporate greed, they don't care about the consumer, just about lining their pockets. After seeing all the horrible reviews about Sedgwick, I don't know how this corrupt company stays in business. This is an absolutely horrible, awful, corrupt company but they don't care..they can't even produce evidence of why they are denying your claim..they just deny it. If you read the reviews for this place, they are all the same...horrible..no one has a good word to say about them.

Customer service is suck. Employees never know anything and you cannot get personalized customer service experience. Nobody can answer a single question. They never know anything.

Absolutely no communication, call backs, responses to my messages. Had to do paperwork multiple times Which included calling hospital and doctor to inform them they had not filled out questionnaires to Sedgwick’s liking. Daughter is having multiple operations at once, though not consider major she is 6 and will be out of school for a week so it bewilders me that it’s a day away from surgery and still dealing with these ppl. My doctor said this is the most ridiculous thing he’s seen or heard. He clearly stated what was going on and my child will be out of school and needs parental care. I’ve had to dig and call to find out what was going on with my case and how to fix things. This company is garbage straight garbage. To put us through even more stress right before operation, like am I gonna have a job afterwards bc I have to care for my daughter there’s no way around it, I’m her parent. So they expect me to hire a babysitter right before that’s she’s never been with and has no medical skills or investment in my child. Someone should be fired at Sedgwick bc obviously management is diluted.

Horrible customer experience. Called 20+ times over the course of 8 weeks, to no avail. I am still chasing down this company to issue payment and they keep mentioning “escalating the claim”, but no one ever calls us back. I have never once spoken with the examiner and the representatives are unable to ever get through to her, this company is extremely unorganized and by far the WORST customer experience I have ever went through. Good luck to anyone submitting a claim through this company. Make sure to grab a bottle of Tylenol for the headache you’re about to embark on.

Zero stars. I’ve had to do all the footwork just to get a referral. These adjusters just don’t give a flying f. 5 months later and lies upon lies upon lies of what has been done to help me, and I am ready To get an attorney.

I would give them zero stars if possible. The website barely works and the service is poor. They finally realized that they underpaid me after 1 month and called to cut me a check. Luckily, I had my own HR step up and correct my pay, but if I would have waited 1 month I waited for them. I wouldn't wish my worst nightmare to deal with them. Avoid dealing with them at all costs.
