This company is a joke. I had a claim on June 14, 2024. It is now October and nothing done with it. My worker Miracle Durrah ignores my emails and my phone calls. No one holds the workers accountable for their poor work ethics and poor service. I’m about ready to take them and Home depot to court to get my damages paid for. Enough is enough.

Denied my claim didn't get my papers ,,I txt and emailed same day got from doctor ,,anybody who deals with Sedwich first thing should get a lawyer otherwise they will take any excuse to not pay you,,I try doing on my own and I'm not good with computer,so I got Denied..

My daughter was promised an Airbnb relocation for work to be carried out on damp and mould. This will take months to complete. She is 8 months pregnant. The work begins on Monday. She has now been informed, on the Friday afternoon, no accommodation is available unless she wants a budget hotel. . Shocking treatment and she will now be homeless or have to defer and live in damp and mould . Health and safety issues. Hang your heads in shame Sedgwick.😢

This is Ryan Schmitt, I have a disability claim with you guys. I have had a rather unpleasant experience in this process. It has been over 2 months since this process began and I have yet to receive my payments. Given this is a benefit of being a Hyatt employee, this is not Hyatt care standards. Since the beginning this process has been messy, I was informed before a single payment had been issued that my address was incorrect. I was told to update the Hyatt payroll system (ADP) with a new address and all will be fine. I was told I was in the clear, I waited patiently for the checks and they never came. So I followed up again, they said the checks were sent to the wrong address. I then said can you update and then cancel the checks? They said, yes of course we will get that taken care of for you. Two weeks go by, yet again still no checks. I call back, concerned about the issue, only to find out the address is still incorrect. Now, another check has been sent incorrectly. They said, my "case worker" had said they are unable to do so until I update my address with Hyatt HR. Frustrated, I called the HR representative at Hyatt Centric Nashville to have him update the address. He informs me it was already updated, I try to get in contact with my “caseworker” (I use that term loosely because I’m not sure what works she actually does) about the issue and she is never available. I inquired about the direct deposit which she had put in my notes for the representative to recommend. I told the representative I had submitted my form digitally on the Sedgwick portal weeks ago. The representative was not even aware that you could submit it online, only showing the incompetence of this company. They said my "case worker" would be sending me over the form. It only took 3 days to receive the form via email(which is rather prompt for them). Immediately after receiving the form I uploaded it on the portal, I called back the next day after updating it. I asked if everything was in the clear? Representative said it would be reviewed shortly. I asked if she could have my “case worker” Yokeria is here name, call me as soon as possible. I didn’t receive call, so I called the next day(today) and asked for an update. The representative said, oh it appears another check has been sent out on Monday, but was unsure where it had been sent? So, clearly the direct deposit situation isn’t being taken care of effectively. Thousands of dollars in checks sent to the wrong address, after consistently updating it. The entire claim has been horrid. I am in need of immediate assistance, this is impacting my recovery substantially. I am not one to complain, in fact, rarely do. This however, is so incredibly unprofessional, I can’t take it any longer. I need answers, if someone, anyone can help it would be substantially appreciated!

Sedgwick very slow to approve legit claims.they should be made to pay.from time u apply not to when they can finalize ur case.

Sedgwick has the most disrespectful, rude, claims examiners that I have ever dealt with. When I was sick to death with COVID, I had to repeatedly answer the same questions and was treated like a criminal. He most horrible part of having COVID was dealing with them. My companies policy is to contact them on the 6th day of illness. I tried desperately to go back on the 5th so I wouldn’t have to deal with them but I just couldn’t . Now I have to deal with them for a work related injury and I use dread it

Sedgwick have been dealing with my cousin’s fire. Stephen May was allocated to the case and has been terrible throughout the whole process. Stephen rarely responds to emails, or provides updates on the works. It’s unclear how he works with the buildings contractor. There’s absolutely no transparency. Works have been significantly delayed due to Sedgwick’s incompetence which has been extremely stressful for my cousin. Never again

My storage facility suffered a fire in JULY 2024! I was contacted by SEDGWICK to submit a claim. I received the paperwork and returned to my representative ( Kevin Dixon) with 24hrs. It is the latter part of SEPT and I still do not have my claim settlement . Mr Dixion has been NON-EXISTENCE! He has returned ONE call and that call provided NO INFORMATION of merit! If I had a choice, this would be the LAST company I would use for insurance purposes

This company is a joke and the employee's are clowns cancel my Dr out the network it's like I don't even exist because I'm coming up on 6 months longterm disability so now they don't have my file EEOC along with the lawyer I spoke with is about to handle the situation. This company has broken EEO laws that gonna get real ugly .They don't know what follow the laws mean time they find out contact EEOC how long are they gonna continue to discriminate against employee's that have disability and they won't even pay their salary while they are out constantly lying and stealing from people This place should be shut down due to common sense I pray they never have to go thru what so many people are dealing with sedgwick isn't competent enough to be a company that handles nothing involving people benefits they shouldn't even be in business

Sedgwick is horrible to work with. There is no communication. The only time they seem to reach out is so randomly and of course you did something wrong; that you don't even know you did wrong because you go through multiple case managers that don't even talk to you at all. They only want your paperwork or they will threaten to deny you. It takes them forever to reply or return a call you can leave multiple messages via email, phone, or direct messages from the Sedgwick platform for them to contact you at a certain time frame and they will still try and call you all throughout the day even during your scheduled work hours. They are very unprofessional and have made me cry multiple times. They truly have no idea what they're talking about there is no way they are being trained right. They show no empathy or interpersonal skills at all. I'm surprised my company even uses them with all the horrible reviews shown here and on the BBB website. If I had any other option I would choose another company but I need it in place for my job. But it definitely comes with stress and heartache When it is supposed to be in place to do the total opposite it's supposed to give you a piece of mind. Do better Sedgwick.

I filed a claim in July 2024 and still cannot even get someone on the phone. I have left many messages and emails. I have sent all pictures and receipts of damages and have not been able to talk to anyone. When I message through my account it says I will get a response within 1 business day. It's been 2 months. All I ever get is the same automatic email that tells me to submit documents. I paid for this insurance for 2 yrs for nothing and no help when my belongings are ruined. DONT USE SEDGWICK ORANGE DOOR INS, they will not pay or help you.

I was in a car accident and my employer told me I couldn't come to work with back and leg injury. I had to go on LOA for three weeks. I pay for short term benefits. They denied my claim and I've lost three weeks of pay. I have a baby and wife to care for with only me making an income. This company is robbing me! Sedgwick is a joke and from all reviews I've seen, it's common that they don't help their clients. Unethical and what should be illegal.

Hold time of over two hours the rep hung up on me and didn't even attempt to do her job. This has been the worse experience of trying to get my damaged items covered. The worse company ever.

The most disrespectful claims examiners that lack obvious professionalism and empathy for their clients. I'm definitely reporting to my company and union at Southwest Airlines. It's absurd on top of the stress I'm dealing with they are so inconsistent and obviously don't communicate respectfully at all.

Horrible customer service! Can’t get a straight answer, get told one thing then get told the opposite. Can ever talk to an examiner, always get leave voicemails but never get a call back! I was out of work for almost 12 weeks and I was denied! Try to get healthier but it will finically cost you!

I feel so sorry for my customer who is having to deal with these incompetent people. Particularly Christine West. She is counter-productive and bad at her job. I needed an answer and after several email exchanges and two phone calls she finally admitted she doesn't know what documentation is needed. Wow. Just wow. I will definitely not ever use these people with my vehicles.
