“I was on the Grand Tour of Italy in September, 2019. I loved it! So well organized, all the guides arrived at the designated destinations on time and were excellent. The hotels were on the whole very good. Senior Discovery Tours attracts the nicest people. There were very few complaints and our Tour Guide was outstanding.”

However, the next trips to B.C. and Scotland were excellent with knowledgeable guides, interesting side trips and good accommodation - very well planned and good value for the money. “We did the Quebec's Gaspe Peninsula tour last year with Ruth Veilleux as our tour guide and had a wonderful time. Ruth made everyone feel welcomed and comfortable. She was so full of knowledge of the areas we travel through and kept the journey flowing at a very relaxing pace. Hopefully, once things get back to some kind of normality we can travel again and look forward to traveling with Ruth.
We felt that the trip was well planned out and at a very reasonable fee. Accommodations and included meals were excellent.

“I took a cruise back in November.....I don’t have any experience with tour groups or cruises, so I don’t have anything to compare it to. But I really enjoyed my cruise, and also had a great experience with the Senior Discovery Tour personnel as well.
With this pandemic thing going on, I probably won’t take a cruise again any time soon..... but a walking tour could be a possibility at some point in the my future travel plans.....not necessarily this year.....but maybe at some point.”
“Enjoyed all my tours. The only thing I did not like was our set menus of raw fish in Japan. A lot of people dont like fish to begin with. At several places there were nice buffets. I only wanted soup one night but was told that was not our meal and they had already paid for it. Korea was good and also food .Budapest and Prague hotels needed to be changed but you and many of us told you about that. I am looking forward to many more tours with you after virus gone. Hope to go on Laos, Vietnam an Cambodia trip with you. Is there any chance of expanding it to include Hue and Hoi An. I will also be signing up for Amalfi coast and Portugal. “The pre-organization was thorough, and I have no complaints. AC was a miss; but not DST fault; however, the actual Hawaii trip was below standard, I’d say. We had experiences where the tour guide skipped activities listed on her itinerary and gave us something other than DST approved. I could do better! I’d call the tour sub-standard, a lot of free time and wont be travelling with the agency again.”

Unfortunately old age has caught up with us as well as some health problems so our travelling days are over.
We especially enjoyed getting into a warm car to be picked up up in Manitoba winters.”
“I have been on 11 trips with Senior Tours and never have had a hold up or a problem. I would not travel at me age with any other tour company because I have had such good service. I cancelled my trip for myself and my sister-in-law Crustina Stafford last week and it was a shame but I think I got all of the money back, you must have also cancelled it, because there was no $75.00 taken off of the deposit price, therefore as far as I know I got a full refund. My problem is that you dont go out of business because I am going to book next year if we clear up the Covid. My sister-in-law is also going to be travelling with me and it was my husbands swish that I take her down the Danube and he passed away one year ago, so we had the reservation since then and and was so disappointed along with every one else, but what can you do, but please keep your heads above board because next year I want to go. “Loved the Poppyfield tour in Europe. It was amazing. Everything was taken care of, very well planned and it included all accommodations, travel (flights, bus tours) and museums, as well as almost all meals and drinks. Our guides were awesome and all the events were too. The specialized guides were very knowledgeable about the places we visited and knew so much of the battles and history. We were picked up, taken to the airport in a van at the beginning of the tour and driven home at the end of the trip. Such a great way to travel with every need taken care of. The accommodations were lovely too. We also met some other wonderful seniorsof all ages too. I highly recommend Senior Discovery Tours and would use them again.
