Miscommunication within SDT left us hanging at Deer Lake airport on arrival in the middle of the night with no transport to the hotel, or rating would be a 5. Extremely knowledgeable and personable guide and driver. Newfoundlanders are out of this world welcoming and gracious hosts. Fourteen days on a coach sounded like intimidating butt time, but we had good break and walk-around opportunities.”

“My sister and I travelled to Tenerife in February 2020. It was a very well organized tour and even though we had a very large group everyone got along and were a lot of fun. The hotel was very nice and well located. The only complaint was the food. It was always cold - the heating elements were never turned on and the staff did not seem to understand when I brought it to their attention. As a result, some of our group, including myself got food poisoning. I missed 2 days of the trip by spending it in bed. I did report my illness to the front desk and by the last few days the heating elements were up and running as they should have been from the beginning. On reading some of the reports on the website from other vacationers to the same hotel, the temperature of the food seemed to have been an issue for some time. If we had known that we were staying at such a nice hotel in Windsor on the return journey, we would like to have had the option to stay another night and return home one day later.”
“We were totally looked after on our trip to the Channel Islands, loved the hotel, itinerary, and our tour director, Christine in September of 2018.
Hopefully we can do another trip when the pandemic is over, but it could be a long time before we feel comfortable flying and cruising.”

Martine was able to reroute us during a strike in Peru, looked after everyone with medical issues immediately and was always looking to do that something special. Our trip with that particular vacation was rated a good 4/5. We had planned a trip in 2019 space week cruise. Unfortunatly I had a serious back operation and had to cancel. Your agent arranged for refund without hesitation and were very concerned about my health. We booked the same trip for 2020 but it was cancelled, "we all know the reason". Again your staff were very sympathetic and proceeded with our refund without delay. We like the way you interact with your clients: respect, empathy, friendly and in a very professional way. “I have travelled with Senior Discovery Tours once-to Provence in the fall of 2019. The extra personal conveniences experienced on this tour made this tour my favourite so far. The only small criticizim I have is when I made a request to leave the tour bus before the planned stop-on the exact same route, to visit a site within walking distance (a mile) of the planned stop.
I had to walk from the planned stop back to the site and then return on foot to the bus. On previous tours with other providers the tour guides were happy to help me with personal requests(at my own expense) that did not inconvenience others.
