“Absolutely ridiculous, they find things wrong with your vehicle that don't need addressing/fixing and then charge you double. Our vehicle was delivered in a worse state, than when it was picked up. Customer service takes between 5 and 7 days to respond, so we haven't had a working vehicle for over a week (over the Christmas period). We ended up taking it to a reputable garage and paying even more money out. Please read all the other negative reviews of this company, before making the same mistake we did.”

They charged you like nothing initially and once it goes to garage they charged you double may be triple for the service they provide. They are just ripping everyone in the name of service. I have called them back and no one bothered to even answer. Sent an email and no one replied. Took nearly £500 and didnt even wash the car. Ridiculous I will never ever use them again. “Be extremely careful!!! This garage " Servicing stop" deceives you with so-called a lower price for full service, but when your car is in, every single price is triple. I recently booked a full service of 113- pounds, but for changing the brake oil( only god knows if it has been changed or topped up) billed me145- pounds, the engine flush of 90 pounds added another labour fee of 80 pounds, apart from the first labour fee was paid and included the full-service package in the first payment. Ultimately it ended to" 450 pounds". Before paying they are kind and responsive, once you have paid, they hang up your call and not responding your email. Go directly to the garage do not trust these people, they robbing you; they are a third party.”
“100% don not book your service through them. It is going to cost you more in the end.
To start with I had loads of issues with my car being collected 2 hours late and returned the day after (with me having to contact them to know where my car was).
I booked my car for an MOT and Service, they tried to bill me 1150£ in repairs and a failed MOT. Thankfully I took my car for a 2nd opinion and it turned out to not have any of the issues reported by the Garage booked via Servicing stop. They also charged me extra for services on my car without previously consulting me on them.
In the end I have had to rebook a full service and MOT elsewhere… so be save yourself sometime and book it somewhere trustworthy!.
When I tried to complaint everything I was adviced is to report my concerns to DVSA.

“SCAMMERS! A £150 service turned into a £430 rip off. I was charged for oil flushes and fluid a 2019 car never needed. Not olnly that but after speaking to the garage, I gound out the car wasnt even given a full service as promised, they just changed the oil and air filter! You cant make payment until youve left a 5 star review which is also dodgy and then they lie about how soon the car will be returned. “Purchased Serving Stop full service and MOT on black Friday, cheap but this is a trap.
My MOT had failed and servicing stop gave me a quote to fix the NSF Shock Absorber for a total of £399 and all the other bits, the final bill was £1000 including VAT.
I called up another garage to get a quote to replace the shock absorber, and I was quoted £108, even the garage was shocked at how much servicing stop is quoting me. I had everything fixed for £240 including VAT.
This is disgusting to charge 3X / 4X more than the actual price.
After I said I will not purchase any other services, servicing stop also stopped responding to my call and became impossible to reach them.
Stay away from this scam and you will save your self a lot of hassle!!”
“IT'S A SCAM , DO NOT USE SERVICING STOP! After paid upfront for a full service + MOT fornthe next day. I received confirmation call that my car would be collected between 8am-10am. I waited for 3 hours and no call, email or message was sent informing about changes or delays . I had to chase the online chat and the customer advisor reassured that the driver was on the way, after 4 hours and 30 minutes of waiting I had to go through the online chat again and same thing , the drive is on his way. I gave up and went to another garage to do the service and MOT, had to cancel meetings, and no one even care to call to confirm if the car was collected. I proceed with formal complaint and addressed this company to ombudsman”
“Servicing stop has endangered the lives Of my family. First of all this company is a scam. They pay significant amount of money to Google for their company to be displayed in Google search front page.
I paid £125.00 for a full service and MOT for my wife’s VW Polo 2012. Which was too good to be true. Anyways I took the gamble and I paid bitterly for it. This same car was serviced by the main dealer VW last year for over £600.00 including other jobs. I will be providing the report in due course. Jobs included was air conditioning repair, re-gas and their was no mention of an oil leak.
Servicing stop collected my car with almost half tank of petrol and returned with an empty tank. They later asked me to pay about £287.00 more which brought the total to over £400.00. Report will be provided in due course. I was so angry with myself to fall for a scam like this. I reluctantly paid that money in 4 days.
There are more problems with the car now before it was handed over to servicing stop. The only problem the car had was a faulty headlight bulb. I don’t know what they have done to the car but the air condition repaired and re-gas by VW is no longer working. Their is an oil leak in the engine which wasn’t there before the car was handed over to servicing stop and not mentioned by VW when the car was last serviced.
My wife said to me the car doesn’t feel right when she was driving and it was also a very hot day. We turned on the aircon and it was just blowing out hot air. Opened the bonnet and their was oil all over the engine. I have contacted a local garage who advised for the car not to be driven until a thorough inspection has been carried out.
Why would you charge all that money and behave in this manner. Jeopardising the lives of others. The only answer I can come up with is these guys are thieves plain and simple. Thieves have no emotions or empathy whatsoever with no ethical principles to abide to.
My impression is the car was not even serviced. Instead, they ripped parts off the car. I have instructed the garage to check the report provided by Servicing stop and use it to compare reports of there inspection.
I will be updating this review in due course. I will also be contacting the relevant department to raise a safety concern.”
