I recently ordered a pair of DM (Adelaide) Henrietta Oxford shoes direct from DM's own website in their clearance sales - but they are only offering the Oxblood version in the sales. In fact the only other colour you can get direct from them (albeit full RRP price of £100/pair) are the Black ones. Through my online browsing, I found Shoes International (SI) and they're offering the DMs at £15 cheaper than full RRP! Plus they're offering the shoes in their original range of three colours (Oxblood, Black and Oak)! Because I am madly in love with the shoes, I ordered two pairs in the colour I don't already own. Having said that, I was fully prepared for SI to come back to me and say "sorry the manufacturer has stopped the Oak version, would you like to cancel it or order a different colour" etc etc etc... I put in my order on a Friday 5 August, by Monday 8 August I received an email telling me to expect delivery in 14 working days. Then yesterday Tuesday 23 August, I got an email telling me they've shipped my shoes and by 15:50 Wednesday 24 August I received delivery of both shoes!!! I am totally over the moon with the service... just BRILLIANT! I mean I have had no need to contact and communicate with them direct, but from reading all reviews I can imagine they'd be super efficient and super helpful! I would definitely be using SI again in the future and will honestly, "from bottom of my heart" kind, be recommending them to friends! Well done guys and keep up the good service! I love the personalised message in the box too! Note: (a) Chaps... despite the shoes being marketed for ladies... don't be scared, they're not too feminine and the heels are only about 1.5"! (b) If you are in between sizes (and have wide-ish feet) you ought to round it up to the next size up. In fact I originally ordered size UK6.5 when I ordered direct from DM but had to return it and re-ordered size UK7, because the shoes are a bit narrow. All in all, if you love the look of the shoes... go for it! I thoroughly recommend them and definitely recommend Shoes International!!!

“For a second time I bought a pair of my favourite shoes through Shoes International. The price I paid was around 50% of that advertised by the manufacturer. As before, they came within a few days and are completely satisfactory. Next time anyone wishes to buy a new pair of shoes I would suggest they try Shoes International first.”

“I have mixed feelings on the service from Shoes International. I ordered some shoes on behalf of my mom (which we can only find on this site). I placed the order, with no notification that the stock was unavailable. The order went through with notification of a reasonable lead time. I then received communication saying that there was no stock, and that the factory would have to do a special run to make the shoes - This would delay the order by 10-12 weeks. They were committed, and the order arrived correctly, so that was good. If I buy again from them, I'll definitely first check if stock is actually available, and not take what the site indicates.”

Our customer service reputation is very important to us - we do not want any of our customers to have reason to be dissatisfied. The brand you purchased offer a wonderful range of footwear - with very many sizes fittings and styles. It would simply not be possible to stock all of these - so whilst we do stock hundreds of styles in our warehouse, we also offer styles which are available to order from the manufacturer. We do list this in our terms and conditions on the website. Many of our customers are delighted with this service - and because they know the quality of the footwear they will be getting they are very happy to wait. We always endeavour to inform customers immediately regarding the likely delivery time. We are also available by live chat, telephone and email for any stock enquiries. I note that we advised you of the delay the day after your order was placed. I cannot see evidence of us having given you a misleading lead time prior to this - if we have, it would be very helpful for me to see a copy of this if you still have it. I hope this explanation has better explained the way our service works and if there is anything further we can do to help either now or with future orders, please do not hesitate to contact us? “These boots had not arrived so I rang SI and they couldn't have been more helpful. Soon sorted Parcelforce and I received the boots. They were a present for my daughter who is a great Dr Marten fan. They are a perfect fit and she is delighted with them, ewars tham all the time.”
