“I bought a beautiful quality oak handrail. It was delivered very quickly, and I was able to talk to someone at Simple Handrails about the different accessory options that were available before purchase. Very helpful. I Would highly recommend, and would certainly use SH again.”

“The product so far seems perfect and I am really pleased with the finish and how it looks. I was also very impressed with your most prompt service. Sadly I didn't think the packaging was fit for purpose. The cardboard tubing was badly damaged and I only realised later that the end cap on the rail had been damaged also. You have very kindly agreed to send a replacement but as the cap has been glued in place I may not be able to replace it. Considering the above, I was surprised the brackets weren't damaged as the makeshift way they were attached to the cardboard tube was not ideal. I am sure the rail did not leave your company in this damaged state so I think the delivery company should carry the blame here.”

Hi Barbara, Thank you for your review. We are fully aware that the rail arrived damaged and we have taken this up with the courier. We battle the couriers daily as it is frustrating when the rails do get damaged with the way they handle them. They are very difficult for us to ship and our successful delivery rates are high but they do some times get damaged. Our packaging and how they arrive is a tried and tested method which does work. Sorry again for any inconvenience caused if you do get stuck swapping the end cap please let us know. Dan

“Brilliant customer service. I ordered a handrail which arrived on time. However the box of brackets came free from the handrail and was left in the van. Fortunately my wife queried the driver and he found the missing box. Unpacking the goods for fitting, I noticed that there was one more bracket fitting point on the handrail than there were brackets. I called Simple Handrails, who were extremely apologetic and promised to send a replacement that day. From the time of my call to receiving a message from the courier to say that they'd picked up my package was around ten minutes! This is incredibly good customer service and well beyond my expectations. This is indeed an excellent company to deal with, although the packaging department might like to have a think about the likely effect of bumps and thumps in the delivery process on the goods. Apart from the box of brackets becoming detached from the handrail, the end of the handrail was a bit scuffed because the bubblewrap had been torn. However a bit of energetic polishing soon fixed this. I would certainly buy from this company in the future.”

“Want a new stair handrail or balustrade,look no further. This company has some good options to choose from. Items are very well made and have a good finish to them. Delivery is fast and items look good once in situ.”
