“Needed a short handrail to cover the final section of stairs to the landing. Decided on SimpleHandrails as it was a stock item. Excellent quality with firmly fixed domed end caps, heavyweight pole and well made brackets. Very prompt delivery Highly recommend!”

“EASY TO USE WEBSITE, CLEAR AND COMPETITIVE PRICES AND A GREAT SERVICE. THE STAINLESS STEEL HANDRAILS (2X3.2 METRE). WERE DELIVERED WITHIN 5 DAYS AND WERE WELL AND SECURELY WRAPPED. ALL THE PARTS INCLUDING SCREWS AND RAWLPLUGS WERE INCLUDED. VERY STRAIGHTFORWARD TO CONSTRUCT AND EASY FOR ANY COMPETENT DIY'ER TO INSTALL. TOOK ME ROUGHLY 2 HOURS TO GET BOTH HANDRAILS UP. FEELS NICELY SOLID AND SECURE ON THE WALL AND THE STAINLESS STEEL IS A LOVELY CLEAN AND SMOOTH FINISH FOR THE OUTSIDE. OVERALL VERY PLEASED AND I WOULD CERTAINLY USE SIMPLEHANDRAILS AGAIN”

“Very pleased with the excellent quality and delivery service, packaging was good too, however, there could have been some instructions enclosed which would help. I have worked out the fitting of the end caps without problem, but some people might not!”

“Great product, delivered on time.Quality excellent.only minor criticism is that the woodwork is marginally smaller than the metalwork but inevitable with a machined product I guess.Also I think a small punched mark at centre of the timber rail would be useful to get exact positioning of the plastic end caps.Otherwise excellent.”

“When I chased up my delivery , I was told it was going to be a week later due to a faulty batch of wood , I therefore had to rearrange the fitting of the handrail . When the fitting happened this weekend I found that the end of the rail was split , but needed to fit and stain due carpets being fitted this week”

“UNFORTUNATELY I WAS OBLIGED TO REFUSE TO ACCEPT THE CONSIGNMENT AS THE PACKAGING HAD CLEARLY BEEN STEPPED ON (FOOTMARKS ALL OVER CARDBOARD PACKAGING ) AND THE EDGES OF THE PACKAGING WERE DAMAGE. bECAUSE IT WAS GLASS I COULD NOT RISK IT BEING CRACKED.”

Hi Margaret, Thank you for your review. The glass cardboard would have been stood on during the wrapping process to ensure it would have arrived in perfect condition which it would have been under the cardboard. Unfortunately, this is just a standard process the glass goes through to get wrapped. I hope this helps explain the situation.
