I purchased the Aurora Black. It did not have the features I wanted like the Time Lapse, Burst, self Timer panorama. I felt the pictures at .9MP were not that great. The 5 stars is for customer service. I sent the unit back and received 100% refund, I did have to pay for shipping back.

I think your product is great and look forward to it arriving and using it. This review is about the experience on your website. I decided to complete the purchase based on the sale bonus which provided fir a rail and IR illuminator. It was very frustrating to have to use another form which it took me three separate attempts to submit the info (which was already provided when i purchased( and needed photo of a receipt for something i just purchased on your own website. In addition i received NO confirmation that my info was accepted and shipping confirmation on the bonus items and still don't know if they are being processed. For those that purchase on you’re site the bonus items should be added at checkout. Please can someone confirm the the bonus items are ordered and will be shipped. When i receive the products and test them i will write a honest review. Thank you

Amazing. I have a 1st gen Russian night vision monocular (about 25 years old) and might as well throw it away. The Aurora is really neat.

I bought an original Aurora with the pre-holiday sale. There was something weird with my card, and I finest you all about it - the responses were prompt and professional. The camera was shipped quickly and arrived promptly - good stuff. Even dealing with the rebate and illuminator taking awhile to ship, Justin was responsive and helpful. Again, great customer service. The bad? I was sent a survey shortly after getting my camera. In that survey I let y'all know that it was kind of obnoxious to keep the Pro model unavailable through the holiday sale, only to make it available for purchase pretty much immediately after the "holiday sale" ended. I can guess at why you folks did this - clear out the stock on products there's going to be much much less interest in as soon as the Pro is available - from the consumer end, it was a frustrating move. I, like many others, would have skipped the holiday sale and just gotten the pro had you made it available before the holidays. But what was particularly unprofessional was the response I got from William, who seemed personally offended by my feedback. Through a series of emails, he offered to "buy back" my camera if I wasn't happy with it. It was like pulling teeth over the course of something like 8 emails back and forth to get the details of what this "offer" actually was (he neglected answering my really straightforward questions to clarify what was being offered through multiple emails) - he didn't mean a return and then an exchange/refund - Will meant I would send my camera back to be assessed by him, and he would then pay some amount to be determined based upon inspection that I could then apply towards a Pro. It would have been better of William had just taken my criticism as helpful customer feedback - I was fine with my purchase, just a little put off by having bought a product that was almost instantly no longer top-shelf. Instead we had this bizarre exchange that left me questioning whether I'd want to deal with, or recommend you folks again. If Will was going respond and offer something, the customer friendly response would have been to offer an immediate exchange and send me the invoice to pay the difference in cost FYI. Not responding would have been just fine too, and then all I'd remember were the good interactions.

I have owned my Aurora for several months and used it under various conditions. I intended to use it to observe wildlife in the field behind my house but I find that I use it in other situations. Although I have a nice Sony Handy can camcorder, my Aura takes very good videos and is actually more compact. The extra feature of being able to use it in very low light conditions make it even more useful. I still have issues connecting the WiFi to my cell phone but that is not a deal breaker for me at this time. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase.

When I first learned about the Sionyx Aurora Pro camera, it was a business decision that I will never regret. As a Private Investigator, I needed a camera that afforded me the ability to obtain video even when its dark out. Subsequent to placing my order, I contacted Sionyx and advised them that I needed the camera immediately for a case. Even though they don't customarily overnight their products, Bill Bobrowski at Sionyx sent me an e-mail that he had overnighted the camera I needed. Instantly, I knew that they believe in their products! The camera has also exceeded all my expectations! My Aurora Pro is an integral part of my surveillance arsenal as a result! Thank you Bill and Sionyx!

The Customer Support team has been amazing regarding my purchase. Very communicative while reaching out to me regarding a rebate issue. Oh yea, the Aurora is pretty awesome too. I have mounted it on my boat, and side by side, and the performance was exactly as advertised.

Overall great product for the money. Only issue I have had so far was the lack of instructions. They gave me 16 different pamphlets in 26 different languages written in legalese about safety this and that, but nothing on how to operate the thing.

I'm very happy with my purchase. Really easy to use and works better than I expected. Only improvement I would like to see, is shipping. And I know that is be on your control. But the USPS has gone to s__t.

Nice quality and features but it is only really useful for close in use. At distance the picture is very grainy. For the money I was hoping for more.

I absolutely love SiOnyx. They have great customer service and support. I had an issue with the SiOnyx I.R Illuminator and was sent another no questions asked. The Aurora is amazing as well, weapon mounting isn't an issue at all. I look forward to spending more of my hard earned cash on another Aurora for NV Helmet set up. Sionyx I will be here to watch you grow and look forward to future innovation!!!!!

Very nice design. Clean user interface. Delivers as night vision but closer to Gen 1+ rather than Gen 2 or 3: in a moonless night with little to no light, it really struggles against a proper Gen 2 or Gen 2+. Overall, product is great, and a good companion for most uses. I wish the lens barrel was made out of metal or more heavy duty material like a pro camera lens. Overall 7.5 to 8 over 10
