Their delivery and service is horrible and they deny helping or fixing it. They simply don't care.

If I could leave a 0 I would. First time I tried to get a refund from Skip. I had received my food and it was cold and had sat for over 2 hours before "a courier" picked it up. When I went into the App to try and get a refund in the APP it said "unable to complete request as it has been done already" or something close to that. So of course I thought that meant someone at Skip had realized and started the refund. $ days later when I went in to check there had not been a refund request (according to the Skip App) and when I tried to explain I was out of the 48 hour period due to their APP I was ignored. So I stopped using them for a while. Then forgot how bad they were and recently I ordered from White Spot, not only did the food come cold but I was missing items. Again I was denied by Skip even though I did not receive items. I am not going to use them again unless it's an emergency because I am unsure of what qualifies you to get a refund at this point. Missing items that I paid for... Skip too bad we just want your money and no accountability. Everyone should boycott this App and start to get their friends or anyone else to deliver as the response and customer service would be better anywhere else!

They did not deliver my order for 125.00 worth. Cannot even talk to anyone on their customer service chat. Bad experience

On 12 January I ordered food from Baigs Grill Mississauga order # 592411546. The payment was done but food was not delivered and both Skip the dishes and Baigs Grill have not responded or refunded my money. I feel they are Cheating the public.

Order took over an hour because delivery driver kept taking new orders and driving all over my town. They were only a couple blocks from my house, (with my food) then proceeded to drive to the other side of town to make another delivery. Food was cold and when I contacted support (after waiting in a long queue) they finally responded then left the chat without helping at all. Now at the back of the queue again I had to wait until finally speaking with another support staff. They offered half a refund, after refusing their half refund. Another 30 min later I finally got my money back, save yourself the hassle. Door dash has some problems too sometimes but their support is much better at least. I think I’m done with these food delivery apps but if I was to use one again skip the dishes would not be an option, absolutely terrible. Very unsatisfied customer

I would give their online chat staff a 0. Took over almost an hour on their online chat for something that shouldn’t have taken more than 5 minutes. Slow response every time I wrote something. Very frustrating!!

Actually don't even want to leave a 1. We are seniors living in a basement suite accessible through the back yard. Do Not use Skip the Dishes. We have now had 4 unsuccessful attempts at ordering and getting proper delivery even though I put specific instructions for delivery. Tonight I ordered, one last chance! The driver called when she got here, giving her directions, my daughter arrived home and specifically told her where to go for delivery. No food! I went in search, circling our house 2wce. She had set the food down by the wrong gate, taken a picture to say delivered, then picked the food back up and drove away. It took me 1 1/2 hrs to get through for a refund ( for the 4th time). I then had to go out and get the food myself. I will NEVER use that service again. May be OK for you if you live on the main floor of a house but not if you need specific instructions.

Placed the order to McDonald's 3 places from my house. Estimated time is 55 min. McDonald's started making my order immediately. And I just noticed there's no driver matched yet and it's supposed to be here in 20 min. So what now? Best case scenario is I'm getting hour old McDonald's for premium price. If that's the case, I want refund to my bank not skip credits. Kind of shady to take someone's money knowing the service can not and will not be provided.

It's always a hassle to get a refund from this company and now that they don't take calls makes it frustrated even more because to be honest from the drivers who can't read the info to leaving the order with strangers or just leaving it in the lobby.

Every thing is wrong they don't care about customers they block u from reviewing ur order if it's not a good experience.. the time frames on restaurants are never on point usually 20 + min what they say and when u speak to skip they never care ..I hade 2 people leave the conversation and had to give my order # 3 different times when I was just trying to find out why it was taking so long

They never let you know they have delivered your meal. I'm handicapped ♿️ so how do you expect me to get outside to pick up my meal? Your service has gone down over the years. Time to switch to Uber eats.

The website placed an order I didn’t place. I called immediately but they refused to give a refund. It was an $85 vs the $20 soup order I actually placed with a different restaurant.

What a joke I ordered and never received a thing, complained and they said nothing they could do...never will use again..what a pathetic company no wonder there are so many 1 star reviews...2% of reveiwers would recommend Skip the Dishes ..wow that speaks volumes.

Driver doesn’t follow instructions. I put side door not front porch. If I wasn’t waiting and seen him I would’ve never received my meal. Very disappointed and will not use skip again

We simply never got our food and I have no idea what even happened to it, to be honest. Courier said they dropped it off but it wasn’t at our house or any surrounding houses (we went outside in the snow to check). Ended up having to go down to the store to reorder ourselves and pay for the same food twice. When we asked Skip for a refund, they refused and just referred us to terms of service. Absolutely dogshit service. Never using this app again.

I have never tried to get free food nor have I submitted false reviews to get skip credits. Apparently, however, I have had too many "negative experiences" to be given credits for the order I did not receive (which was almost $50) nor any future credits for orders that are incorrect or that I don't receive at all. "There is nothing further" that can be done, according to their chat bots. No response when asked for a record of all of these supposed problems I've been reimbursed for previously. I feel like I'm being accused of lying and theft. Highly disappointed and will not be ordering from them again and risk losing even more money when something like this happens, through no fault of my own, the customer.
