“I bought my sofa from SLF in June, it was delivered about a month ago, however when they brought it to the front door my access was too tight, the guy looked around the back and said they would bring it in through the conservatory. (better than a front door drop off I experienced with the bed purchased from elsewhere). Nothing was too much trouble for him. Service far better than expected, both before and after delivery. I love the sofa and the choice they had on website, no pressure tactics, no sale ends today and all that rubbish, unlike at least 3 other so called furniture specialists.

“Worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. Our sofa came delivered with a huge dent in the back, I sent photos and was first offered 80 pounds discount or to send someone to fix it. I sent them photos and explained that the timber was broken, and that when we tried to pull the dent out it would only flex the other way. In order to fix it they would have to cut the fabric and replace the timber - which would leave a visible seam. AND WE BOUGHT A NON-BROKEN sofa!!
I then got back; how big of a discount would you accept.
And I said again; we would like a new non broken product. Like we’ve paid for.
I then get back that they’re willing to give me 200 pounds off, but I’m keeping the sofa.
I went back and said again, this is a faulty product, not what we ordered.
Again I get the option of either accepting 210 pound discount or they could send someone. At this point I gave up.
Rubbish! I can’t believe they’re still in business. In comparison, this has happened once before, and the company sent someone to collect the broken item AND they replaced it with a new. No hassle.”

When told the chap where’s the other guy to help you he shrugged his shoulders . I had to pay someone to lift the sofas will be making a complaint”
“I bought a bed sofa and chair from this company last year, when it was delivered the driver did not speak English, the driver bashed the sofa against my walls and doors causing damage, I was unable to check if any the items were damaged as the driver left like a bat out of hell. I recently removed the loose covers to wash them and found 1 small piece of paper that mentions that the filling and fabric meet 1988 fire regulations, my understanding is a label must be sewn onto the furniture as a legal requirement. I will be contacting trading standards, do not buy from this company.”
“the sofa arrived and was dragged into our house by anon english speaking driver who left immediately on unpacking we noticed a big rip on the underside of the sofa.We then had five months of trying to obtain a repair or a return,we received neither,this is a firm to avoid at all costs,they also accused us of racism when we pointed out 50%of there 5 star reviews are made from people with surnames of a similar origin to there staff and drivers.”
