“Excellent trip with sensational sights. The guide Khalid was great Very hectic trip. Negative: NO TIME FOR SHOPPING. The tour should have time for shopping at most of stops but instead only had one shopping stop on the last day. Tourists expect time for shopping.”

“The trip was great. The guides were knowledgeable, thoughtful and very personable. We enjoyed our trip immensely. I was disappointed in the food on the ship, specifically breakfast and lunch. Also we arrived at Mykonos near dark and felt rushed, with little time to actually see anything. This was my 4th Smartours trip. I hope to take many more.”

“My husband, sister in law and myself did the best of Italy this past September. Nice hotels. Delicious food and gelato. Our guide Mossimo was great. All of the other guides we hooked up with were amazing. I was floored with the amount of knowledge our guides had. You can see, hear and feel the passion in what they do. We had very friendly people in our group and beautiful weather everyday. I was sorry it had to end. I highly recommend this trip and hope you have the same experience we did.”

“I have traveled with smartours 7 times. How ever in this trip to spectacular Greece , this trip was 4 day for islands and we never stayed more than 3 hours in any of them and nobody was happy about it.”

“1. Scheduling was very irrational and inconvenient 2. Wish you could have provided in advance a. Schedule b. A write up of daily and weekly list of activities. Though the guide told us verbaly, most of us could not remeber everything and found ourselves confused and bothering the guide”

“It was a wonderful experience and the guides in every city were very committed to their clients.They were also very knowledgeable of the history and up to date on the current events.The excursions were great but the optional tours were not what I expected.Our main tour guide Fernando was absolutely the best.He went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed and was so pleasant.”

“I absolutely loved my Smart Tour guides. Our guide, Granville was so knowledgeable, protective, kind and just wonderful. He was attentive to everyone in the group. Every recommendation he made was great from the food to areas to shop. We all wanted him to continue with us after we left Athens. There were many tears when he left us. If I were to return to Greece I would want him again. Our next guide was great as well. She was knowledgeable and personable. She gave great recommendation as well.”

“I enjoyed the trip and the wonderful people I met along the way. This was my first trip with Smartours and it will not be the last. Hotels were wonderful, tour guides excellent, and Spain is beautiful. I look forward to my next trip with Smartours.”

“The driver and guide needs a microphone as I never could hear him. Neither could the people in the 3rd and 4th row. Too much time spent driving from one park to another. up to 5 hrs. The balloon ride was too crowded.”

“Good pace to see so much but there is a lot of walking....many on the tour we were in could not keep up the pace and amount of walking in a day. The local guides were all very good especially the guide on the Amalfi Coast (sorry I forgot her name). Massimo,our overall guide at times was very informative but he lacked enthusiasm for his position. It would have been nice if he made an effort to remember our names, a minor touch but important. Glad we got to see Venice before the high tides have put it under water! Overall an excellent tour of Italy’s beauty, historical treasures and of course wonderful food and fine hotels.”

“I had a great experience but there are a couple of things that I wasn’t happy with. The guide was great, the itinerary good. The meals were disappointing, only mediocre. And my main complaint was that the cost of the tour is very misleading. I much prefer that Smartours pay the guides and give us an honest cost for the tour. The tip system stinks. It is deceptive and requires us to carry money on the trip that we don’t want to carry. You have excellent guides and they deserve an excellent salary. It should not be our job to pay them. Increase the tour cost by a couple hundred dollars and pay them! I have done 5 tours with you and this is my only reason I may not do more.”

“Very good and well informed guide, Inas Hassan. Much crammed into few days. Only complaint is amount of time spent at airports and on flights, but I guess without those it would be much longer tour.”
