I don’t know who these people are giving terrible ratings. I adore this brand! Super high quality and I just had my drip machine break after 5 years and they just sent me a replacement free of charge even though it was out of warranty. I was so pleasantly surprised!!

Complete disregard for customer complaint. Smeg not listening to my problems. Leaving me with an appliance I had paid over £ 3000 for that I wasn't happy with. They were not prepared to listen to me. Absolutely The worst after sales co. I have ever dealt with.

2 slice Toaster worked for 2 weeks and then it would only toast on one side. There is a button that you select for bagels that will only toast on one side but now only one side toasts permanently. We decided to spend more money on this toaster to get a better quality, the store we bought it from said 5 people returned it recently for the same issue. Hello SMEG?? Are you listening?

Disappointed with Quality and Customer Service I recently purchased a SMEG gas hob, expecting high quality from a premium brand. However, within just one day of use, the rings developed stains that would not come off, despite careful cleaning. This was extremely disappointing, especially considering the high price. I contacted SMEG customer service, expecting assistance, but was simply told the stains were due to food residue and that I should purchase a cleaning product. After multiple emails and calls explaining that the colour of the middle gas hob has changed colour to bronze, I felt ignored and dismissed. As a good will gesture SMEG replaced the rings , it has been a month now and the gas hob has stains which after cleaning show up like stains. For a brand that markets itself as high-end, I expected better product durability and customer support. I regret this purchase and would not recommend SMEG to others based on my experience.

On 18/01/2025, I purchased a matte black Smeg toaster from your Hifi International store located in La Cloche d'Or, Gasperich, Luxembourg. After only two weeks of use, I noticed that the paint on the appliance was starting to flake off in several places on the casing, which is unusual for a product in this range. When I visited the store to report this defect, the manager informed me that the warranty did not cover this type of problem, which seems inappropriate to me for a new product of supposedly superior quality. In accordance with consumer protection legislation, a product must be free from hidden defects and meet reasonable expectations of durability.

I ordered two connectors for my coffee machine, but they only sent me one. I tried to contact support, but their email addresses don’t accept messages—everything just bounces back. I finally managed to reach one of their emails, but instead of resolving my issue, they sent me some kind of warranty form, even though all I need is the part I already paid for! They told me to fill it out and wait 14 days for a response. This is complete nonsense! I urgently need the part, I paid for it, and now I have to deal with pointless bureaucracy. Their service is non-existent! I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone.

AWFUL! Avoid this company at all costs. I ignored the negative reviews and I regret it so much. I had a range delivered two weeks ago that does not work. Over a week ago I contacted SMEG customer service and they said they would send my request to a servicer. I waited a few days and when I didn't hear anything back I called again. They said that a service company (Goodman Home Services) had accepted my job and that I should be hearing from them soon but that I could reach out to them to try to get on their schedule sooner. I called Goodman Home Services and they said they did not have a request in my name. I called back to SMEG and was brushed off and told Goodman had accepted my ticket and to wait longer. I waited 3 more days and called Goodman again only to be told they still did not have a request in my name and also that they don't even service my zip code. For a range that was over $2000 you would think customer service might better. So at this point I have owned a range for two weeks that I can't use and I can't make dinners for my daughter.

Brought a Smeg cooker Model BM93BL. In one year time knobs start breaking and display came off. Warranty covered both repairs. Within two years the paint started peeling off and rusting the door. Call Smeg and Currys for repair both refused saying “ cosmetic damage is not covered by our warranty”. It is not cosmetic damage, it is manufacture defect. Very much upset with this company. Spending thousands of pounds and not worth for even two years.

My Smeg oven is rotting away, the paint is peeling off and it is rusty. The oven fan has stopped working for the second time in just over a year. If the oven is is switched on it trips the house electrics. My Smeg kettle is the same, it it rusting and leaking. In conclusion, Smeg is simply overpriced poor quality rubbish. It is very similar to the quality of Fiat car’s in the 70’s, rot boxes.

Does not live up to the price. Coffee pot impossible to empty use to fill the reservoir. Toaster ridiculously large and heavy, and the kettle does not boil long enough for a hot pot of tea. I th The occupy a lot of counter space too. Sorry I did not read the reviews before purchasing.

We purchased 4 SMEG Kitchenware out of which 3 failed within the first 4 months - Noting that our electrical installation is excellent, trapping all current fluctuations, etc. This speaks for itself – THERE IS DEFINITELY SOMETHING WRONG with your Quality Control. For Christ’s sake do something about it!!!

My expensive oven had problems from the very start. I was unable to get sMeg to send a technician to come look at it. Finally, after months of trying to get Smeg to respond Albert Lee, where I purchased the oven was able to get someone out, but in the end, sMeg would not send the needed part.

DANGEROUS APPLIANCE-DO NOT BUY! Coffee machine head flies off at speed. Missed my grandson’s head by an inch, instead it crashed into my fridge, damaging it in several places. It happened again this time gouging a hole in my flooring. Contacted Smeg-Worst customer set ever!! They tried to charge me 50% of the purchase price. I’d rather bin the machine than give them another penny. They showed no concern for customer safety & ignore you when you ask for the complaints process.

If I could give 0 I would, spent a lot of money on a smeg cooker, which has had lots of faults from day one. Looks terrible paint bubbled up on doors. Just out of warranty. Smeg customer service disgraceful. Will not do anything to rectify. Told I would have to pay a smeg enginner to come out and fix, which is clearly a manufacturer fault. Would never buy another smeg product again.

If I had the option to rate with 0 star I would. I bought cooker with induction hob and the splashback with the Smeg logo is completely damage and rusty. This is unacceptable for an extremely expensive cooker. The poor quality of this product is shocking and I regret so much for spending money with a horrible cooker. I contact their customer support, they said that there is nothing they can do because I bought 5 years ago, when I replied saying that I was not happy they asked me for receipt and photo of the whole cooker. I spent 2 days trying to find the receipt, took a photo, video and days later they told me there is nothing they can do. I had an issue with a blender as well, with horrible noise, liking liquids and they sent a new one. I would never buy anything from Smeg again and don't recommend to anyone. Their product are stunning but with an awful quality.

I had ZERO experience with Smeg other than their 3rd party technical support telling me that they can't support, and to call for tech support. No one responds. No one answers. Incredibly poor.

I purchased the SMEG BM93BL 90 cm Dual Fuel Range Cooker, expecting top-tier quality given its high price. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory. Multiple Knob Malfunctions: Several of the knobs do not function correctly, making it difficult to operate the cooker as intended. Electrical/Ticking Fault: There is a persistent electrical ticking noise, which seems to indicate a fault within the unit. Physical Damage: I also discovered a dent on the top of the cooker, which is unacceptable for a brand-new product of this caliber. To make matters worse, SMEG's customer service has been incredibly challenging to deal with. Despite repeated attempts to resolve these issues, I have encountered significant delays and a lack of responsiveness from their support team. Adding to my frustration, SMEG does not seem to offer a way to leave reviews online, making it difficult to share honest feedback about my experience. Given these issues, I cannot recommend this product, especially considering the premium price.

Smegs products are simply built to fail I have a Smeg DI612CA1 dishwasher and doing some routine cleaning of it one day the plastic clips that hold the upper spray arm just broke. I was confused at first when putting it back together because I hadnt even realised it had broken, the tiny plastic nubs holding it in place just fell off. After ordering a replacement part (had to get a whole new spray arm because the small nut that had beoken wasnt abailable seperately) and installing it, I then realised that in the process of reinstalling it another plastic clip attached nearby also disintegrated so I had to buy ANOTHER replacement part for another bit. That new replacement part arrived today, new in plastic and guess what, the same damn tiny plastic clip had already broken in transit! These bits of plastic are mere milimeters thick, exposed to high heats, changing temperatures, and constant vibration. There is simply no way someone designed this without knowing that they would fail within a handful of years
