Never again do I want an experience like I have just had with specsavers first appointment kept waiting 20 minutes, when finally seen it seemed very unprofessional ,when finished the boy that did my test rang a bell to get a nother person in to rush me out to pay, on the way asked to pick a frame ,rushed to make a decision to pick very bad service. It did not stop there, they forgot to let me know my glasses were in stock I had to go to the store and ask, the story goes on but I will stop here.

I have been seeing Specsavers for eye tests since 2015 and also been on their contact lens subscription from 2016, as well as making multiple glasses purchases over the years. As I only wear contacts at the weekend or on occasions, I opted for one box of lenses to be delivered every 3 months. I moved address in April 2021 and had two separate appointments booked in store around the same for an eye test and a contact lense check up so I asked them to update my address details on the system. I believed it was done because the address was changed on my prescription card. Due to covid over the past couple years, I have been wearing contacts less and less so I only realised I hadn't received a lens delivery for some time when I had ran out of my current supply - this was January 2022. Therefore 3 of my deliveries were missing between April and January. I contacted customer service who told me that unfortunately my address details were not updated on the system and could possibly be due to an issue with transferring data when they updated their software/system around April 2021. This was escalated to my local store where someone called me back and offered a refund for one box of lenses, despite the fact that I was out of pocket for 3 boxes. I asked if their deliveries came with tracking numbers which they don't so there was no way of knowing whether or not my lenses were delivered to my previous address or not. I admit it is an error on my part for not noticing that my lenses weren't delivered earlier however Specsavers should have taken responsibility for not updating my address details properly on their side. As they refused to refund the other two boxes or send replacements, I have decided to cancel my subscription with Specsavers and will no longer be using their services in the future. It is a shame as I haven't had any other issues in the past 6 years but it's clear that they don't care for customer loyalty.

I got a replacement very focal glasses fitted last year in Westway, Greenford. The optometrist was great and identified issues that that lead to operations. It was amazing. However, the frame that was fitted was a night-mare it made deep indentation on my nose. I was offered adjustments after 10 days, replacement after visit for the pad. The problems persisted. I must have visited the shop over 10 times. They offered me 50% discount on replacement that I rejected as they had recommended incorrected frame. And demanded 75%. The problems still persist. I went to Greenford shop and they directed to Westway as they are only Franchise company. Complained to Specsavers HQ over month ago and they did not even acknowledge the complaint forget about intervention or redress.

Excellent impressive 21C operation where customer needs lead the operation, staff support are open with advice, skills are augmented with adequate resources, great cutting edge tools, saving time and making data based decisions simples! I visited the Eastbourne branch today and apart from the basic customer information read across from my up-front questionnaire not being loaded onto Supersavers IT system wasting time, duplicating effort, the consultation was smooth. Of note was my consultant Faheem whose manner was professional, open and experienced, he explained the data from the scans etc and made the visit a very interesting experience.

Although they advertise an at home hearing test and aids I found this was limited to only selected stores - if any! Having tried three stores I was unable to obtain this service although I have used their services for many years when more mobile. Extremely disappointing.

DO NOT USE DOMICILLIARY SERVICE ON TYNESIDE The so called optician examined my old mums eyes while she was asleep and gave her a much worse prescription which she said was blurry and she couldn't see a thing! I also bought two pairs from the same optician which had to be adjusted 5 times as the frames were too tight but specsavers did not agree! Avoid like Covid and the plague

Do NOT go there - they mis- diagnosed a serious retinal detachment - told me It was definitely not that and now I have had delayed surgery for multiple tears and am furious as if I had been referred earlier it might be very different - very sleek and all about selling glasses - not one person took my symptoms of flashing lights and floaters seriously - the surgeon has told me to take this further and I do not want anyone to go through what I have

Shouldn't have gone to Specsavers. Couldn't see my computer screen with my new glasses and when I went back, having made an appointment, there was no-one who could help me. Poorly skilled and dreadful service.

Went for an eye test yesterday at Swindon branch, the optometrist was rude and abrupt, felt I had to keep asking questions, as unsure what the process was and how my eyes had changed. Was taken down stairs to choose glasses, yet again no one explained the pricing or having to pay for the lenses etc decided to take my business elsewhere . I Will not be recommending them to friends or family.

Specsavers are without any doubt the worst opticians in Britain .I don't think any of the staff are older than 18 they haven't got a clue what they are doing and don't know how to use the eye testing equipment all they want to do is sell you this sell you that they are just interested In ripping people off I shall never go there again and will advise every one I know not to go there Especially the becton branch in East ham

Had an appointment at the Sutton in Ashfield Branch for my 95 year old Mother. Arrived 5 mins late, apologised, the girl made us stand at the door whilst she went to check with someone. We watched her go from person to person in the store, wasted 10 mins then returned and said no you need to re book. The appointment was for 30 mins but we were told no it's 25 mins and now there is only 10 mins left. She wasted more time going around asking what to do. We explained we had travelled a long way for this appointment, but she made no effort to be pleasant in fact quite rude and off hand. We won't be going back and have made an appointment with a local family run optician offering the same tests and scans.

Having to pay £193.00 up front. Yet I dint get glasses for 11days. The person that did eye test 100% nice. The person serving with frames etc. Not helpful. In fact quite abrupt. Wish I had gone else where.

Really an excellent experience. All the staff I met were great. Especially Farida and Medhi who were so helpful and friendly. Without a doubt would recommend Specsavers London Wall to everyone. Thanks to all of you.

Last time I went for an eye test, just after I arrived home I was called back by the optician, she had forgotten to do one of the tests. She also said I need to return after a couple of months because there was a potential issue with one eye. I tried to make an appointment for the follow but was told by a reception person that I could not have an appointment after 3.30pm, the later appointments were for children only! Well that's around £500 lost to them because that's what I have to pay every time I need new glasses.
