“I went to Specsavers and I had the best experience, they said my glasses would come in about 3 weeks and the came in 1 week, the workers were very nice, cheap glasses and for kids you can get glasses from $99.”
“Specsavers in Otkey although friendly and polite the glasses prescription was not suitable fir tge frames making reading worse than the old pair. I was fully reimbursed and am now going to a different opticians to get another eye test an prescription. Only thing is that thus scenario has happened twice before with a prescription not being correct. Would recommend not going to soecsavers they make too many errors.”

However ordered new glasses ( Dalkeith Midlothian).
They apparently phoned my house BUT did not leave a message on answer machine. I had to chase it up.

“Just bought my glasses from there after an eye test, just a pity they don’t walk you through what the two machines do when you start your eye test.
Can’t fault the lady that actually did the second test everything was explained to me and I was happy to go ahead and purchase my glasses.
Service was good waited two weeks for my new glasses very happy.
They still need adjustment but will get to that next time I’m passing”
“Very pleased with the whole process and staff very pleasant but we did notice that they did not wipe clean after every client the pieces of equipment that you rest your chin on.
Really off putting as one after the other placed their chins where I was going to then have to place mine. Not good practice at all takes seconds to swipe a wipe across the equipment and when there are staff stood about in groups too there's no excuse.”
“Been going to Specsavers since in my teen and was happy until lately .They move all the old staff to other branches .Now you have new staff that hardly know what the other one is doing .No messages or information left for other staff to check collection , or telephone conversation with customers for collections. Politeness is no longer in specsavers a few will say good morning. I was asked to try my glasses that i came to collect standing at the desk . When i asked where is the mirror we don't have one .I then advised the staff that they have cubical that you sit to try glasses on so he can see if it needed adjustment or fits fine. He then realise what i was saying so he then find a desk although their were about four empty desk available.Bring back some of the old staff to show these staff how it should be done. The eye test by the opticians i cant say a bad word they are good at there jobs.But staff need lot more training.When i leave that day i start thinking should i change. Phidd”

“A very convoluted pricing structure geared toward making you purchase two pairs of glasses. As a first time customer I didn't want to purchase two pairs so I wasn't able to maximize the potential savings. Pricing aside, the service was excellent. My "retail partner" Inga was excellent, even when the lenses had to be remade. She was knowledgeable, patient and very helpful. Overall, a good experience.”
“Ennis specsavers, Found majority of staff very nice and helpful, the optician was very cheerful and answered my questions he didn't rush me and took his time to explain, one staff member decided I had to pay for frames but I'm entitled to free as I'm an OAP plus T1 diabetic, she really needs a bit more training about entitlement, but apart from that it was a good experience, on the other hand trying to phone them regarding an appointment is awful, iv tried for 5 hours and no answer, surely that's not good customer care !”
“I went to Specsavers Goole and they were brilliant. I am.totally blind in my left eye and my right eye not brilliant. The gentleman who tested my eyes but menin contact with someone and they gave me a large magnifying glass and a small one to pop.in my handbag. Both these were really good. I cannot thank Goole Specsavers enough .all the staff in the shop are lovely. Anne walker.”
“Booked an eye test at sainsburys at Mansfield for next day at 11:10 am .My chest is bad and i have mental health problems so going was a struggle for me .Got there they told my wife no appointment .Go figure so i told them to stick it wont go back again”
