“Was disappointed because I ordered the bottle of whiskey through Spoil me so it would be presented as a gift. I came to your website through google and wasn't at any point through your website given the opportnity to add gift wrap or add a card. When I e-mailed about this I was told that you were going to add it to a gift box for me and you asked me for a message for the card - which I provided - the bottle of Whiskey then just got sent to the recipient with no card or gift wrap - so I basically just paid an inflated price for something I could have just had delivered from liquorland for the same impact. The person didn't even know who the gift was from.”
“Bought a ($150+) gift box for Mother’s Day from Spoil Me in order to get the advertised delivery time of 1-3 days.
I wasn’t super strict on time, but I requested that if it was going to be more than 3days to let me know, so I could let the receiver know.
Got no response. After 3 days of no delivery and no correspondence, I followed up again saying that I hadn’t received the tracking information, and received no answer.
Eventually I got the generic tracking information email, but the gift then sat with the courier for several days without moving.
At this point I was giving up on it ever arriving at all, I had to advise the receiver that the company wouldn’t respond to me, so I didn’t know where their expected gift was or if it would ever show up.
It finally arrived a full 7 days after I ordered it.
I would not have used Spoil Me if I knew it would take that long for Auckland to Auckland shipping. At no point did anyone reply to me and while the actual gift contents were enjoyed eventually, I will definitely not be using Spoil Me again.
Pretty basic requests: Answer people when they ask you questions about their orders, and don’t advertise delivery times you don’t even attempt to meet/ change courier providers to a faster one. Overall I felt ripped off and not valued as a customer at all. Such an unnecessary stress and hassle.”
