Today I went to the store to return Christmas gifts. And without asking the clerk put the money back on the credit card of the person who gave the gifts. I told them I want to buy something else and they told me oh well you will have to ask the person who gave you the gifts for the money. Then customer service said too bad nothing can be done ! How do I ask the person for the money back. Shame on them. They didn’t care that they made the mistake. I have been treated with such disregard and indifference . Merry Christmas to Sport Chek!!!!!! The worst

great worker i had today, a girl with blonde with some brown in it, bit shorter, helped me get the right jacket i needed, she spent about 15 minutes helping me!

walked into Sportchek Ajax a week ago found a winter coat it was on sale, walked up to the cashier, and paid. The cashier was friendly even offering additional discount like for friends and family or something like that, she handed me a Canadian tire with points tossed the jacket on the table (no bag) and wished me well. Im walking to my car with my kids she runs out and hands me a receipt she forgot to give me. I toss it in the car. Yesterday, I try on the jacket it's too large (tags are still on it brand new and unworn with receipt). I go back to the store today to try and get a small size. Cashier tells me too bad so sad final sale. > She calls the manager by phone (he doesn't bother coming over) he supports no exchange no refund. BUT I was NEVER told final sale?? OTHERWISE, I would have triple-checked everything like fitment of course! SO I walk of the store stuck with a jacket that's too big and useless. It had been years since I walked into a sport check having bought all my kids and my coats from sporting life and with this experience I will never walk into a sportchek again in my life. Worst store ever. I purchase a pair of skis for my son. First they sent me the bindings and said the product was delivered. When I called them, they said they would figure out what happened. After 2 months they sent me an email and said sorry this product is sold out......

I wish I could give 0 rating or even Negative rating. I noticed other reviews where people are complaining about RUDE/UNPROFESSIONAL behavior by Store Manager. I am pretty sure it would be Albert. But my question is what is SportChek management is doing about customers complaining about RUDE Store Managers. The worst customer experience at this store. I usually purchase a lot of items online but always check the return policy before buying. In this case I went to this store to return couple items due to sizing issues. I was told the manager has to approve the return even though the items were purchased couple days ago. The store “manager Albert” was the most disrespectful and rude person you can think of. He quoted “protocol “ which has never been enforced before and the manner which he was talking was so demeaning. I requested him to make an exception for me as I have difficulty walking and his response was “exceptions are treated as Red flags at that store “. What kind of store does that? I am not sure how this kind of rude unprofessional behavior is shown by a Manager. I hardly go to this store due to some previous experience at the same store but unfortunately this is the closest step to my home. The store manager had no manners, showed zero respect towards a disable person. I would NEVER visit this store and would ask everyone to shop from stores where the managers and staff have courteous behavior and respect towards the customers. The manager’s behavior was a classic example of discrimination against Asian customers.

Do not order anything online. I was sent a completely different colour and style. When I called apparently they’re sold out of what I ordered so now I have the inconvenience and expense of travelling to a store to get a timely refund. Yes that is what I was advised by the customer representative by phone. 0 compensation just offered a 15% voucher for a future online purchase. Never again

Argyle Mall store is not about customer service. I entered the store at 9:20, door was open and three people standing at the till. All said the store is not open until 10. I was surprised as the door was open and then they said to come back at 10. I was there for a prepaid order that only had to be picked up! Terrible service, I was leaving the city and had no time to wait around and the item was a gift. I said to cancel my order and while leaving they followed me out the door and started yelling at me???!!! Terrible place and I would not shop there. Sportchek has still not credited me for the online purchase NOT picked up despite two emails sent to their website!!

I went there to get my figure skates sharpened and they didnt sharpen them well. I think the person who sharpened my skates doesnt even know how to sharp figure skates? They probably sharpened my skates so much its going to turn into hockey skates!! $10 wasted for nothing.

I recently went to sport check to sharpen my expensive figure skates that I use for professional skating. The guy was very rude to me and took over an hour to sharpen them. When I picked them up, I noticed scratches all over and a type of oil on the boot itself. I decided to bring them in to a professional figure skating store and they told me that the blade was completely ruined and skate stores would not accept them cause the tail was completely rounded. Those skates were new and I got them about a week before. The rounded tail unbalanced the skate. If you have figure skates, do not trust them with your skates. Good day

I came to Sport Check at Westshore today to pick up my online order. I had not printed or downloaded the email/receipt. I was there around 11:00. Both the cashier at the front, and the man working the service counter were very gracious and accepting of my mistake. After producing photo I.D., I came home with my new jacket, very happy indeed. Thank you!

I purchased two pair of pants yesterday from the Abbotsford store . Paid oved $150 . Was then told I would have to pay $2 for a bag ............ ??? They no longer supply plastic bags . Personally I never ever asked for plastic bags in the first place . It was a cheap way for retailers to package their over priced products . I told them they can keep their pants and started to walk away . He called me back and said he would give me the bag . Then he said I have to show a charge on the invoice , he charged me a penny ............. we don't recognize pennies in Canada any more . I took the pants with the bag . Absolutely ridiculous .

I placed an order for delivery but then my daughter didnt want the backpack anymore. I called the customer service to cancel my order to find out they can't the order. I must receive the package first even though it hasnt shipped yet and then take it the the store to get a refund. I'm sure they have way too many orders and need more time to fulfill people's orders from Boxing Day week and orders before that. They can't even cancel the order when it was submitted at 6pm PST and their customer service call support (Support hours 9am-9pm EST) is closed at 6pm EST by calling in next business day.

I placed an order for Asics shoes to pick up at store but it showed no availability before check out though the shoes were available in the store nearby.I called the customer service next morning to cancel my order so I can buy at store but he said I can't cancel the order.

I have twice had items delivered to me with the security tag on them. When contacting customer service all they can tell me is that I need to take it into a store. Even spoke to a supervisor who had no better solution and said there was really nothing else he could do for me. I suggested they rush me a replacement item but they wouldn't do it. I live 200 km from the nearest SportChek and it's 10 days before Christmas. Very poor customer service. I will not purchase from SportChek again.

If I could give less than a 1 star I would. Returned my package back to their warehouse after zero notification that it was delivered. Then customer service proceeds to tell me that I can repurchase the item which now costs 20% more. Absolute garbage.

Had a great shopping experience today at your Sportchek on Cliff Avenue in Courtney,BC. The customer service from a young man by the name of Chas (sorry if I have misspelled his name )was excellent. He was a real help in my purchase of a Nike Hoodie for my grandson. If possible perhaps he will receive this recognition from me and will receive some much deserved recognition from your store manager. Thanks very much.

Funny story about their customer service. I recently bought two packages of socks and when I went to open the second one I found the security transponder (device) was still on one of the socks. I happened to be back near the Kenaston (Winnipeg) location so I took the single sock back in the store. As I didn’t keep the receipt , expecting not to return the socks, they told me I would have to wait half an hour or more for them to do a search and obtain my receipt before I could get my sock back. I thought it was there mistake that they didn’t remove it in the first place, and also could have pried it off and removed it myself, but I thought I was doing them a favour by bringing the device back. In the end I was out a lot of time or my sock and I chose the sock :). perhaps the feel shoplifters like bringing their product back in the front door to have the transponders removed? I attached my mobile visa transaction record (visa number excluded) in case there is any doubt.

NEVER ORDER ONLINE FROM THEM!!!!! I ordered a bathing suit for a one week swim class. It arrived late-in fact, after the class was over it arrived. I called to explain the issue that it was wasted money and I no longer need it. I was told someone would contact me in 3-5 days. A few days later someone emailed me saying the item was on the way-not at all the reason I called. I emailed back explaining I wanted to return the item not track it and no one is responding. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
