Terrible customer service if something goes wrong. I bought two hockey sticks online. After a few weeks a large chunk fell off one of the sticks, then 4 weeks later it just snapped in half (during a friendly game between 9 year olds). I could see that the wood running through the centre of the stick was rotten. So I contacted customer services to report the stick as faulty. They told me there was nothing they could do as the purchase date was more than 28 days ago! Sports Direct - is it really acceptable to sell a rotten hockey stick and tell me that you don't need to offer a refund because the stick lasted just more than 28 days??? This is terrible customer service and a complete lack of disregard for the customers experience. The reason given for no refund was. "Your item falls outside of the return period. Please know that exceptions to the return policy are typically challenging to make" Since my purchase another customer has reviewed the item and written that theirs has snapped in half. There is clearly a faulty batch, for which Sports Direct are refusing to take reponsibility for.

The package was lost. The delivery company did send me a message that they apologize. But SportsDirect refuses to refund.

Made an order, but the arrival date was not as expected so tried to cancel. Can't cancel because (apparently) the order is already "going through the system" even though I only placed it about 30s ago. Can't email anyone to get it cancelled so would have to pay at least £10 postage (send + return) for nothing, which is the same price as the item itself. I cannot be doing with companies like this, which have no proper communications channel and just treat you like you are some kind of consuming machine. I will not be buying anything from them again.

DON'T EVER BUY FROM THIS USELESS LOT!! On 05/2 I purchased an Item (SD40000107466487) and on 07/2 I received the item and noticed it was damaged (zipper wouldn't open.) I tried issuing a return to get item exchanged but your website wasn't working (still isn't) When I contacted costumer service, I was given an unsuitable method of return (I don't have a printer and was given, without asking for it, a return label that I would have to pay to be printed and take the product to be posted, even though I order a product to be delivered, as I don't have the time to go a shop) After almost 20 emails and complaints via twitter, I was able to get a different return method. I returned the item and someone on your end has put down the reason for return as "change of mind", which is completely untrue, and a refund was issued, even with me making it very clear I wanted a replacement. after many more messages, I was offered a discount and free delivery, so I could purchase the item again (order SD40000107753052 on 16/2) even though the first order hasn't even been refunded yet. On 17/2 I received THE SAME FAULTY ITEM AGAIN!!! After 30 more emails, more unsuitable return methods and no compensation, I managed to send the item back. guess what: THEY CANCELED THE ORDER AND ISSUED A REFUND AGAIN!!! 3 different customer services agents stated 3 different versions of why it was cancelled instead of exchanged, even though the item is still available for sale.

Ordered soccer Jersey from SportsDirect in early December for a Christmas present and gave the correct address. It didn't arrive before Christmas but I accepted this on the basis that it was a busy time. However it didn't arrive after Christmas either. When I enquired I was told to fill in a non-received document and a full refund would be arranged. However this refund never happened and my subsequent emails were ignored and unanswered. So basically no jersey and no refund....lousy!

The company issues vouchers which they don't honer. They claim the voucher has already been used. The customer service absolutely waste of time. I would never ever shop with them again. A word of caution!!!!! Pay a little extra some were else. Worst ever company to shop with. Stay away

Awful company to deal with, non existent customer service who refuse to offer any help, refund or replacement for 'lost' parcels. Absolute bunch of thieves - AVOID AT ALL COST.

Customer service at Swan Centre Birmingham - Almin ( sorry if I spelt it wrong ). Gave me and my son advice regarding our credit note. Served us a few times and he’s always helpful. Much appreciated!

I placed an order on Saturday 27th January, and I put 4 items into my basket. I checked the items were there before proceeding to pay. I paid £9.99 for Next Day Delivery. But I only received one of the items. Somehow, between me adding them into my basket and paying, the system removed 3 items without me knowing. I tried to get a refund, to be told I need to pay £4.99. I went on Live Chat, for their agents to disconnect on me 3 times and refuse to listen or help. I’m not paying £4.99 for their system glitching. I’ll never use them again. Lesson learnt.

Products were not suitable and the returns process is terrible. Cant return to a store for a refund. So returned by post . Had confirmation return was received 14 days ago. Still no refund. On line chat just said I now have to wait a further 7 days. Very poor. 1st and last time order from me. RUBBISH SERVICE

Appalling Service! Will never be using this company again! Ordered 2 pairs of joggers, received only one. Raised a query straight on arrival, was asked for pictures of parcel and missing item???!!!. Provided pictures! Was told that the item has been registered by the scan machine at the packing facility and definitely sent to me?! Is it another Horizon malfunction? :-( . And, in the end, was basically called a liar for £15 joggers! Wow! Sports Direct! What an experience! Never again!!!

Deprived of both the purchased item and the 40€ I paid for it – outright thieves. I am utterly disappointed with Sports Center's customer service and their handling of my recent purchase issue. Despite the courier's claim of a compliant delivery, I never received the €40 item. After a thorough investigation, Sports Center dismissed my claim without consideration, leaving me without the product I paid for and causing both inconvenience and financial loss. Their refusal to address the possibility of a delivery error or any other issues is disheartening. This experience reflects a complete lack of accountability and customer care. Beware of their dismissive approach and think twice before making a purchase on their website.

Ordered a coat, website says 18 (xxl), arrived and the tag says 24-26 (2xl). Paid 9.99 for next day delivery. Customer service saying they delivered the size I ordered, screen shotted and showed the website and they still won’t admit fault. And I now have the privilege of returning to them at my own cost.

Their system is full of flaws, and customer service is pathetic. First they sent the wrong size, kept emailing me textbook answers instead of addressing the problem, and then they claim the order is not in my name despite the order confirmation email clearly showing my name! Save your time and money - this circus is not worth it

The Under Armour tops themselves were of reasonable quality, however I ordered two sizes to try as experience has shown that different brands come up different sizes. Having paid a £4.99 delivery charge, I was very dissapointed to have to pay another £4.99 in order to return the top that was the wrong size. The fact that one of the return options is “ordered extra sizes” I would assume this is something that happens frequently. I do alot of online shopping and this is the first time I have been charged for returning an item. I will not shop at Sports Direct in future as this has cost me an extra £10 on an overall spend of £40

The first and last time purchasing online from Sports Direct resulted in only a partial refund - £40 out of £120. Dealing with the customer service is a nightmare - via emails only - they claim they only received 4 items and did not provide any proof or a solution. I am still £80 short and there is no one to talk to. An absolute nightmare.
