“Made an online purchase. Decided I wanted to return it. I messaged sports direct to ask if I could return it instore in a bid to avoid the 6.99 return charge. They said I could return to my local store for store credit. When I arrived at the store they said they don't accept online returns instore. I messaged again and asked for a free returns label for the mistake. They agreed to a code which I enter online. I followed their instructions to avail of a free return. However their options of what to select online wasn't available and a returns label was created without it making clear it was bring created. The returns label was one where I return of my own accord. It will now cost me over 40euro to return. I have since messaged 4 times to make a complaint and no one is replying. I will never use their store again. Online or local. Horrible experience all around and poor, lazy customer service.”

“Worst shop I have been to would score less but cannot very rude and aggressive treatment I went to return 2 items Friday was going to exchange but could not as tills had stopped working was told you can wait there or come back cannot do anything without till I said I could leave the items bar codes and they can do it when till was working but they said no just come back. So went back today the next size up did not fit so asked for refund to be told no you can buy something else or get credit note, so I said why can I not have refund it’s company policy it been like that for years but with attitude I asked to speed to manager the guy on till said yes he’s at front door I said there was 5 people when I came in he said the one with lanyard that said says sport direct on it when asked if he could call him he said no just go talk to him again aggressive attitude so I went to front door furthest point from tills Manager wasn’t there so asked another Game employee he said didn’t know but he will be back soon he thinks waited 15 minuets whilst waiting the original guy from the till walked past me 3 times looking directly at me on the 3 rd time said does the manager have a radio he said yes so I said well ask him to come to me then so he did whilst with me then walked off continuing to talk to him whilst walking away. Finally the manager came down straight away with aggressive attitude what’s the problem not how can I help I asked why can I not have refund he said never given refund in 16 years he has been there also saying it tells every one at the tills I said I didn’t see it so he showed me it’s in the smallest writing possible and not really obvious so I got credit note when I got it the lady said you can use it online as well took a look at the online but unless spending over £100 it costs £4.99 for delivery and £4.99 to collect in store ripoff so in conclusion I will never shop there again with the rude aggressive obstructive and most un-helpful staff”

“Negative experience with this shop. They sent the wrong item twice in a row. I'm trying to contact them to resolve the issue, they avoid my emails. It is frustrating to deal with this lack of customer service. I will never be shopping there again. The correspondence with their customer service has already been lengthy (with no response) and they publicly ask for contact and order details assuring "they should be able to look into this further for me".”

“Shoes soles disintegrated in 7 months returned to shop and was told that the warranty was only six months, so I couldn't a refund. This is false. The warrant is one year. Not satisfied.”

“I placed an order for six shoes 17 days ago, but it has been lost by Evri. Sportdirect's customer support said that they need 3-5 working days to investigate the order's situation with the courier. However, they didn't issue a refund or a replacement order after more than 2 weeks. I was dissatisfied with their customer service because these shoes were gifts, and I was forced to place and pay for another order, which caused me trouble.”

“Avoid at all cost. I placed an order on February 17th. It was sent on February 19th. The last update I received was on February 21st. Held in customs in the UK for delivery to Spain. After weeks of avoiding replying to my emails they confirm after speaking to a courier that the order has been lost and would I prefer another delivery with the same items or a refund. I request a refund. Another two weeks have passed and I have had no reply. Only another random email again asking me if I would like a refund. Shocking customer service. All they do is inform you to please email customer service where they never reply to your emails.”

“Just poor aren't they... Send emails with offers. 5 minutes later I ordered a coat for my son. He was really excited for it to arrive. Guess what ... 3 days later an email saying the order is cancelled because they are out of stock. Like seriously, who manages this place? Mickey Mouse? Don't send out offers if you don't have enough stock. I ordered literally 5 minutes after the email was received. Now have a disappointed son. Surely you should send a replacement of the same or greater value. I've now unsubscribed from the offers email and it is doubtful if I will buy from you again.”

“Worst website to order anything. I ordered my cricket bat a month ago and still it did not get delivered. “One of the worst customer services imaginable. Ordered shoes on January 23rd, after about a week of waiting contacted customer support and asked what's going on. They said the courier lost the shoes and they will issue a refund within 21 days!! And the 21 days came and went, still no refund, tracking still saying "ready to ship" and after emailing customer support, each time they copy paste the same message saying how sorry they are and say they need 3-5 working days to receive and answer from the courier. They then promised the item will be delivered within two days, didin't deliver it, and after contacting them again, said they need 3-5 days to get an answer form the courier. It took around 15 emails and multiple web chats and over a month to get my money back, and no shoes were ever received. An absolute tragedy of a shop.”
