“Like how the issue taps into the gender inequality in the coffee industry. However, the articles lacks evidence or researches to backup and can sometimes be too subjective. It would be nice (and ambitious) for Standart to continue exploring the topic of sustaining the coffee business in-depth, instead of feel-good endings that sounds good but left the reader wanting for more concrete methods to actually imply in the world.”
“One of my favorite joys is getting a Standart magazine and sample to brew while reading. An absolute dream is one day to be the roaster that supplies the sample for you all for an issue! - Dan”
“Articles are a fascinating dive into the world of coffee, and the coffee sample makes it extra fun. I also appreciated the great communication when I had a question about my subscription.”
“Unfortunately last three issues were quite disappointing :( 18+ illustrations on previous one were too over the edge. Children love to read as well.. Also didn’t find any interesting articles neither coffee vibe photos..”
“I enjoy Standart. The quality of the magazine (writing and physical) makes it a quintessential coffee shop read, even if I’m on an airplane it gives me the sense I’m somewhere much more enjoyable. I always learn a great deal from the magazine and get a better sense of the coffee process from origin to cup. Thanks!”
“I always appreciate this journal and look forward to learning about what's going on around the world. I feel that it is perfectly balanced and enjoyable.”
“I’m finding lately the magazine way too “woke”. I don’t really understand why everything has to be sort of shoved down our throats about wokeness. I want to read about coffee coffee innovation and interesting people not what’s been being written about”
“I love the StandartMag in general. But in particular, the mix of stories about coffee and other things in combination with the artsy design and layout… a pure joy to hold it in the hands.”
