“So far I am very satisfied with the replacement coil for my fire pit. My poor rating is because the coil was listed as in stock on the website and confirmed that it would ship within a couple of days of placing the order. My expectations were set by the product availability listed on the website. This was a birthday gift to repair our fire pit so the delivery timing was important. After some time of not being able to get a good estimated ship date through the system, I called to speak with someone. The representative told me the container was backed up off the California coast and they had no idea when the product would get to them. I understand the logistics issues with shipping in today’s climate but was very frustrated that I was misled by the product being shown in stock at the time of order. I had to reschedule the repair person and then put off the appointment without an estimated date for him to install the part. This in turn caused a delay in his schedule once the part did arrive. Needless to say, the birthday came and went without me being able to give the gift. Because of this experience, I opted to purchase my 70 pounds of copper fire glass from a different company. I couldn’t trust whether it was truly in stock or not and I won’t do business with a company I cannot trust.”

“I just received my order. Came quickly which I appreciate but the bags ripped in transit and I have a mixed mess. Now I’m having to separate all the colors. The glass is pretty though.”

“Shipping time was quick and the item ordered was exactly the color I had been looking for! We renovated our deck and installed a built in fireplace, the fire pit rocks that came with it were clear so you couldn’t see the flame behind it. With the Amber color it looks great now!”

“Communication was very poor on my order that was back ordered. After at least a month and a half I reached out and finally someone got back to me. When my packaged arrived it was only one bag of diamond glass shipped I ordered two pounds the invoice said two was shipped and ordered. It didn’t appear to be two pounds of glass. Sorry this is very misleading to me and I will not be doing business with Starfire Direct. Sorry”

“Have not built my outdoor fire pit yet but if their products are anything like their customer service, I’m not concerned. They helped me get exactly what we needed to build our fire pit and the products arrived in a timely manner. Their customer service rep even found us a discount. Really looking forward to sitting by our new fire pit once we get it built.”

“All n all the ordering expeience online was pretty clear. I did have difficulty trying to figure out what fireball accessory worked best with some components I was buying, so I called customer service. At first, she told me what I picked was not guaranteed. There was another better option available, but she was not going to come right out and help me figure it out. Instead , it took a lot of probing questions and persistence to figure it out. As a business owner, I would be very dismayed that my customer service people were not more willing to help a new customer find the best alternative.”

“Beautiful fire pit - well constructed, quality item. Delivered well in advance of shipped estimate. Excellent communication throughout the process. I found Starfire Direct randomly on the internet. They had a firepit that fit all of my size requirements and needs, so I took a chance on them. So glad I did! I highly, highly recommend them!”
