“There were some blemishes on the inside brass finish although once installed they were hard to see. A few spots on the top of the light and fittings were missed or blemished in the black paint. The tension relief was not great. I received two different kinds of tension relief clips, and one didn't fit over the wire. The instructions for installing the tension relief were not clear. I ended up buying small hose clamps instead to make adjustments easier in height and once you crimped the provided tension relief it was hard to reuse. Overall the install wasn't great, but once installed I will say the pendant lights look amazing and none of the blemishes I noticed installing them are noticable now.”

“Ordered lighting December 14, 2021 and received notice within a couple of days saying order was being prepared and presumably shipped soon. Great! Jan. 3rd and nothing received, so I checked UPS tracking and see that shipment was cancelled. ?? Called Steel that day and left message asking for information regarding order. It is now 30 hours or so later and I have yet to receive a reply. I understand the issue with supply chain problems and winter weather, and I can sympathize with a manning issue due to Covid, but if any of those are the reason, please communicate that. But “order cancelled”? What’s up Steel? Please let me know if you are unable to satisfy my order so I can go to another source.”

“I ordered two lights for my newly constructed barn, one for the peak above the door and the other for the man door. They shipped on time and were packaged well. They are really solidly constructed, better than anything you would get at the box stores and even most electrical lighting outlets. Installation was straightforward other than having to adjust the photocell so the gasket would sit flush when mounting. I am super happy with the purchase and they look great on the barn. I only wish they made a post light so I could buy one to replace the cheaply made unit I currently have! Thanks!!”

“Built well however the base does not mount to a typical electrical box so I had to put a wood blocker up to mount light to. Also the installed photo eye is in a horrible location on the mounting plate. I had to trim the rubber gasket to accomodate the photo cell”

“The 2 Pendant lights I purchased for our newly finished cedar gabled deck are beautiful! Good packaging, very sturdy, all components are quality. The ability to dim them from inside the house adds so much to the deck. My contractor even commented on how well they are constructed, and my neighbor wanted to know where we purchased them and he is also a handyman too so that says a lot. The only thing I am disappointed by is the LED lightbulbs I purchased - I purchased 2 of them, and one never worked so I am back now to buy more bulbs. (should have an extra on hand anyway..) Wish there was some way to exchange for a functioning one. I will say the one that works is lovely; I like the warm color and the Edison filament look to it. All in all, though, a solid product that has so far easily withstood the high winds/storms we have had this winter. When we complete our garage/shop building this spring, I fully plan on buying my fixtures from Steel!”

“Amazing customer service and incredible quality!!!! We ordered the galvanized steel eagle rock pendant lights for over our counter in our kitchen and they are SOOOOO BEAUTIFUL and incredibly sturdy. The quality of their products is truly the best!! I can’t wait to find something else from their collection to add to our home. My new favorite lighting company.”
