“I have paid $50, listed my dress, followed all of Stillwhite's advice including reducing the price of my dress, adding additional photos and including lots of details and waited over 18 months. It has not sold and stillwhite's advice has not helped with anything. They have not offered a refund. I'm not happy with the service that Stillwhite has offered and am unsatisfied.”

“My dress never sold, I didn’t get any interest even though I listed the price as per someone else who sold it for the same amount and sold it on the platform. Going to try Facebook Marketplace next.”

“I tried to sell my dress as local pickup as its an extremely heavy, intricately detailed dress and i would never risk damaging. I was forced to deactivate my account after being spammed and hounded by an overseas buyer who wanted my dress for $200aud. It's a $5,000 dress. I reached out to the staff and they didn't help at all. A staff member told me 90% of sales are international. If i had known this i would never have signed up. DO NOT USE THIS SITE TO SELL UNLESS YOU'RE WILLING TO RISK SENDING YOUR DRESS OVERSEAS. Really pathetic site.”

Thank you for your review. To clarify, 90% of dresses are shipped between seller and buyer, and 25% of sales are international.

“I bought a used dress for fairly good price. No rips, stains, and damage on the dress. What it doesn’t say is - it has an awfully pungent BO on it. I kid you not, as soon as I opened the packaging, pungent BO permeates my room. I contacted support for advice and was told “ The listing states the dress is in used condition and has not been dry cleaned, and the price reflects this.” Wow. So no I have to internet that no dry clean = extremely pungent odour? This dress is a very casual wedding dress, and can easily be washed in washing machine (which I did). And the smell still remains. Never had I bought used clothing with such strong body odour in the last decade. Honestly my biggest complaint is the support staff is saying “sorry your fault”. Implying it’s actually acceptable to sell unhygienic product on their site. Buy from stillwhite if you’d like but make note of this. Do ask if there’s BO!”

“I sold my dress on StillWhite, and I had a TERRIBLE experience. After the buyer received the dress, accepted it on StillWhite but then a week later, she opened a PayPal dispute claiming that it's not authentic. I provided a proof of purchase, an original receipt from Northstrom, but PayPal still sided with the buyer. They made me accept the return, so I lost $30 Stillwhite Listing Fee and $45 shipping fee. Very demoralizing experience and not worth it.”

“Never use StillWhite. They have policies in place to protect the seller but cannot follow through with them when the time comes. They are no help at all when you contact them and call them out on it. I suggest spending your money on a website that can actually follow through with their own policies they have in place . Never spend any money at StillWhite!”

“I purchased a wedding dress at stillwhite for $600 and was super excited. When the dress arrived it looked nothing like the picture. The dress was dirty and the seller claimed that she was never wear the dress due to postponing her wedding because of COVID. Marks we all over the dress and it smell. She also throw in her bridal gown robe all dirty looking as if she was doing me a favor. I am so disappointed and lost $600 over a dress that is worth less than $200. Any bride that is looking to purchase a dress please take this review and go look elsewhere. Better yet take your time and go inside a store and try on wedding dresses until you find the right one for you. I understand times are hard and people are trying to find ways to make money, but to sell something that is not worth or look like the price is taking advantages of brides to be.”

“I sent many many messages and only received one message back after waiting over a week for a response. The fact that you only offer one way to pay is ridiculous! Instead of offering to help me at all or look in to the issue on your website I was told by your agent to go though PayPal because the problem was with them. No further assistance was or informed was given. I have worked in customer service for many years, as an website offering a service your staff should be trained and able to look in to an issue, help facilitate communication between your company and any and all other parties that may need to be included in order to offer the best service possible to your customers, none of the above was done. I got a figure it out for yourself answer regarding my issue and that is just not right. Also I think you should offer more then one way contact someone in your customer service department and definitely more then one way to pay. I was terribly disappointed with my experience after reading so many good reviews, I could not believe the terrible service I received”

“I tried to sell 3 dresses (I used to own a bridal brand and had samples left over). The first day I listed them at 75% off the regular price which was a great deal. I paid $20 to list each dress, not realizing that after the first day they sink to the bottom of the pile. The only way to boost them to the top of searches is to pay another $15 each time or to reduce the price of your dress. I've reduced the price every two weeks and they have now been listed for over 4 months, and are listed for an insanely low price. Only two people have messaged me about them and then I never heard from them again. This might be a great site for buyers, but for sellers it's really not great at all. Unless you want to keep boosting your listing for $15 every two weeks, it's really hard to get people to see your dress. Feels like I wasted $60 and will have to look for another way to sell them.”

“Paid £27 to list, the dress was up for nearly a year and never sold. Go to ebay and use one of their £1 listing promos, stillwhite is not worth your money or time.”

“Read this review for Still White before selling on their site - seller beware!! I lost $150 and am left with a ruined dress after using this site. Still White is NOT involved in a sales exchange at all. They fully send all disputes to PayPal who sides with the buyer 100% of the time. They have guidelines they recommend (like ‘no refunds’ and ‘buyer retiring an item should cover shipping’ but those hold no ground with PayPal. Not only was my beautiful dress ruined (fabric ripped, buttons off, completely wrinkled) by a buyer, who then shipped it back to me, but then still white and PayPal made me cover the buyers $150 in shipping charges!! She had no case - simply a lie that the dress was the wrong size. I had documents proving the dress was the size indicates, but neither PayPal or still white gave me the time of day. Now I’m out money and have to get the dress fixed and dry cleaned again because a bride didn't want to pay for the expensive dress she wore and destroyed. I would not use this website or trust PayPal.”
