I ordered the best value perennial collection on 27/4/21 as advertised in the MSE email (Martin Lewis). I received 2 emails notifying me of delays in dispatch. When the date had passed I didn't hear anything else from them so I checked my account only to find it say that I have no previous orders!! They took the money on 30/4/21. I have rang the customer service number but it is never answered and my email remains unanswered too. This is the first and last time I will deal with them. I contacted Sainsbury's Bank Credit Card and they have refunded me the money so thank you to them.

Ordered the MSE offer for £20 odd for about 70 plug plants, what eventually arrived was an absolute joke!! Teeny tiny plugs, so the whole 70 odd plants fit into an A4 card wallet that gets pushed through the letterbox! If that wasn't bad enough (they'd have to survive years to be big enough to flower!) when the wallet was opened the plants were slimey and rotten or completely dried out. What company sends such tiny plugs in the post over a 7 day delivery (during hot weather) thinking the customer will receive a quality product at the end?! Complete waste of a company, all the plugs are in the bin and I imagine, judging by the reviews I won't get the refund I requested! Steer clear!

Such a disappointment this year. My recent plants arriving late, poor condition, badly damaged packaging , many have had to be thrown away. The ridiculous 9 days to reply for email is useless - mine took 12 days! Bombarded with email offers every day- but poor customer service for complaints as obviously cannot cope with demand.

Please, please will someone close this company down and stop them from advertising. Two hundred years of reputation down the drain in one season. Who is in charge of this fiasco? The amount of money they owe dissatisfied customers alone will bankrupt them. However, in the unlikely even of getting through to a customer advisor, please treat them with courtesy. It's the men at the top who needs to hear your rants about being ripped off. Please step forward and make a public statement - it's the least you can do!

An absolute joke of a company. Offered a ‘deal’ via MoneySavingExpert of 70 plants for under £20. Took over an hour to complete the purchase as their website melted down. Was charged FOUR times, which took weeks and endless time and energy to resolve. Plants were ‘delayed’ and arrived months later in terrible condition, nearly all dead or dying. Suttons do not respond, even within the arbitrary ‘9 days’ they have decided is a good length of time. Just avoid at all costs!

My long awaited plant plugs arrived today, due for despatch on 14/05/21, and tbh wish they hadn't bothered, I've never seen such a tatty selection of dead, half dead and rotting plants. The only thing I have had is a deluge of emails from Suttons trying to sell me more plants....they have to be kidding! I've attached photos of the plants as they arrived this morning.

Ordered grafted tomato plants on 7th March .gave delivery of 17..5..21changed that to 9th June.not answering phone.managed to get in touch by internet remote. Message back said couldn’t reply to your query for 9 days. What a shambles,,,left me with no goods and too late to start crop for this year. Are they still in business.??

Placed an order earlier in year. Has taken months to arrive and frankly not worth planting as such poor quality. Plants also not the size stated and have not received them all. Just wasted £40 on 5 tiny rubbish plants. So cross. Don’t bother ordering!

I ordered plants on a pre order in January for delivery in May. I waited patiently for an update as no plant had arrived. I was told with my order confirmation that I would receive an email when they were dispatched. I heard nothing not even an email to apologise if they were delayed. I looked on the Sutton’s site to see that they were advertising them for immediate dispatch! When I contacted Sutton to ask where my order was I was told they would be dispatched on 12/6. I emailed back stating that they were advertising them for dispatch and suddenly I received an email saying that they were on their way. The plants arrived but I am so disappointed they are weak and not what I expected to receive. I have re emailed but no response. I won’t be ordering again and I suggest others don’t waste their time and money

Suttons offered me 36 plant plugs to entice me to use their plants following previous ordering problems. I ordered these and received confirmation on 28th May that the plants had been sent out.noting that they should be delivered within 48 hours. On checking on the courier's tracking link this noted that they had the plants on the 24th May so I should have received the plants 2 days before the email from Suttons. Suttons advise that you should not phone for 7 days on none arrival of orders. The Courier's tracking site showed the plants moving through 3 different centres and finally arrived late on 1st June. No surprisingly all dead in various stages of decay. We regularly order plant plugs and these were the smallest an pathetic we have ever seen, and would struggle to survive 2 days let alone the 7 days Suttons advise you have to wait before calling. I have written to Suttons several days ago and are still awaiting reply. Clearly I will not be considering using them again. Unfortunately I can not give a zero star rating to match the number of live plants I received.

You sent me 30 marigolds in trays of 10,first of all the outside of the box was battered and when I opened the box 2 trays was completely flattened I don’t think they will recover,I think I will shop somewhere else in future

Received £42 order, eventually, several weeks ago. Most of the plants dead or dying. Tried to ring, email to advise them but no reply to many attempts. They then sent me a request to write a review on Trustpilot!!! I did and thst generated a comment from Suttons saying they were sending me a refund cheque....still waiting. I put another comment Trustpilot and they replied saying as I hadnt given my email address or order number, they couldn't help!!! I am livid. Maybe if they would answer their phones or emails I could give full details! This is my last time to give them a chance to send my money to me URGENTLY before I take this up with their local Trading Standards Office. This is theft, hanging onto customers refunds and I will give Suttobs 7 more days before I take further action. Just incase they are reading this, myvorder number is 5069 (or S069)83896 Gemmell. Please fir goodness sake sort this out Suttons!

Probably the worst company that I have ever dealt with.Having telephoned customer service on innumerable occasions without without being answered I tried emailing, apart from one automated answer there was no reply.I cannot access my account,Sutton’s say my mail address is not recognised, despite the fact that I receive mails from them extending the delivery date of my order.

Please, please, please, please stop advertising and taking money off innocent customers. It's a complete insult to the huge number of loyal people who still have not received any plants (or just dead plants), for their summer flower beds. This company is being destroyed by reckless greed and inefficiency.

Unable to contact through e-mails and the website has changed so no longer able to access my Account to see what is on back order! I did find telephone number 0333 0430700 and option 2 - waited 5 mins and did manage to speak to a very helpful guy - only to find that an Acer tree ordered and PAID FOR in March was not going to be delivered until September!!!!! he was however very polite and is issuing my refund - how does this company hold a royal warrant????
