2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma Center Console Hidden Storage Box
The idea seemed great, but when I opened the package, I saw that this doesn’t open all the way (maybe 45 degrees) which would limit access to the compartment below. Also the pockets are short enough to allow anything stored there to slide forward and drop into the big compartment the first braking episode.
I returned after the initial inspection without test fitting.
The return policy is very disappointing. I had to send many pictures to prove the item was unused and had to pay a 20% restocking fee.
Had the original description been clearer, I would not have bought this.
As a result, I will be very cautious about any large ticket purchase from Tacomabeast in the future.
I had planed on rock sliders, skid plates, and bumper, but I’m not going to take chances on buying the wrong things due to bad item descriptions and pay return shipping plus 20% restocking on $4000 worth of equipment.
I’ll stay local for the big ticket items.
Great products, but poor customer service.”

“The lights were not the ones shown in any videos, the harnesses were different. I contacted VLED and they directed me to a video on their website, their video was outdated.
They were easy to install, but the trouble to actually get the correct install instructions was crazy! I wasted half a day just getting the correct instructions.
Please check on the correct install instructions for any updates before you order.”
“Overall great communication with regards to shipping and order processing. My biggest gripe was that they tossed these two diecast models into a cardboard box with a strip of thin brown paper that provided no protection from the two items. There were scuff marks all over the diecast plastic wrapper. Thankfully I am not a collector who keeps their display units in their plastic wrapper or these would be going back for a return. Take a bit more time and care in your packaging and you'd get yourself a simple 5 star review.”

“Unfortunately, I was disappointed in the product and would like a replacement extender. We received the mattress (after much delay of finding one in stock) the day before we left for camping (it was ordered months in advance). Once at the campground we blew up the mattress with no difficulties but when we tried the extender it kept deflating. Upon investigating we discovered the actual seam had come apart. (I do have a picture if need be) We attempted to patch the seam letting it sit for 24 hours but this did not work because it was the seam. Then, after the trip was over when we tried to repack the mattress when dipping up the carry bag the zipper broke immediately. I paid $375 to you guys instead of going with a random $150 mattress in hopes the quality would be better and I am disappointed. I am hoping you guys make this right. I gave you 3 stars because the matress did work.”

“I won’t say my interaction was the worst thing iv had but there can definitely be some improvements through my interactions.
I won’t say names but my address couldn’t be found through the system and I emailed in advance to fix it due to issues with the companies “computer system” not being able to print my address.
I got two different answers, my first interaction was through email. I was reaching out to do some adjustments on my address due to some issues of it not being able to print. I was met with a response quoting “Kindly be advised that the order was shipped 5/31.”
Couple days later received a call about it not being true and that it was still being processed. Thankfully he helped me adjust the address. Unfortunately still didn’t work, then later the following week reached out to me to using my P.O.Box instead (which is fine).
The main issue is, I haven’t had this sort of issue with caliraised, extreamterrain, tacoma lifestyle, N2 design, and rough country. All of which I buy tacoma parts from easily.
So I am a little disappointed that it’s taking over a month for a part I ordered to be here, but I do appreciate the effort of reaching out to me in trying to resolve this issue.
I will be a little skeptical with buying more parts in the future if this issue continues any longer. It’s June 20th as of this review was written. The part I ordered was back in May 21 and it’s still isn’t here.”
