The biggest scam I could imagine. They took my money even after I changed supplier. They mislead me on the finishing date of contract so now I have to pay extra for those days. Had problems one after another with broadband and router. They couldn't fix any of them. If I somehow got the guaranteed speed off it lasted for maybe few minutes a week. Had tons off problems while contacting them. Never got a proper answer on any off my questions and it's quite hard to contract them. Even I you managed to do so the previous talks or chats like they never existed so I had to go over and over again through the same thing just to deal with one problem just to get another one and had to start all over again

constant buffering on eurosport player, not worth the money, pay the extra few quid for a reliable service, avoid talktalk.

THE worst company I’ve ever dealt with!! WiFi started dropping out a few months after jointing. 2 years later it still drops out after about 7 engineer visits about 10 routers and having a right carry on trying to disconnect after my contract ran out on Jan 31st. Absolutely abysmal. Every time I rang I had to repeat myself over and over and of coarse I was passed from department to department. It got to the point I’d dread calling to speak to someone about my issues because it was so frustrating. The call centres are in other countries so they often don’t understand what I’m saying. From start to Finnish TalkTalk have been outstandingly terrible! AVOID!

Talk Talk Cashback Lies TalkTalk set up cashback with Quidco of £60 to get you to buy their product (in this case home broadband), and then refuse to pay the cashback. The reason I went with them is for the cashback, otherwise I would have gone with a different company. This is the only thing that made them a better deal.To make it worse it takes months to be told you are not going to get it by which time you cannot cancel to go with a better supplier! Shame on you TalkTalk.

What went wrong ? what went right more like? terrible company absolute shambles poor internet charged for things we never received like tv ect no one turned up to install payed my bill and had charges every month do not use TalkTalk

My contract has agreed based on 18 months, first 6 months 13 pound a month And the remaining 12 month's goes back to original price which 26 pound. I recieved upgrades welcome package its says 31 pound amount, I rang up talktalk customer service to check why I recieved different prices this is not what we agreed over the phone. This manager so called Mr WESLEY, this guy tries to convince me how to screw me further he said no, your contract has agreed £39.95 this is completely not true where this numbers came from and he made it even more harder very dishonest people I ever spoken to in fact, he was the the manager very disappointed I can't understand them very bad accents scammers keep away.

Non ethical company, they increase price when put of contract,charge for services not provided, avoid like you would avoid COVID-19

Absolutely terrible service and customer support. Speed is not even close to what is advertised and keeps going down randomly. Avoid at all costs.

Talk talk are corrupt in my opinion after having no service through out lock down and it constantly playing previous to that I told them I would be switching to another company so I pay them £108 and then the man on the phone had assured me that was the end of the matter but now there claiming I owe another £160 and are sending me letters via moorcroft debt recovery but this bill should NOT BE GETTING SENT TO ME BECAUSE I DONT OWE THEM ANYTHING AND IM FED UP OF THIS THIS IS WHY I THINK TALK ARE DISHONEST AND CORRUPT. When I called them regarding this issue they said they’d call me back but they never did very unprofessional

Desaster service. We received a outstanding balance for a service that they never provided. Nobody came to our home to activate their service. Never even enquire anything from them...and after 1hour and 20 min they left me out without even inform me that their working ours finished..so good luck on solving a emergency matter.

Disgusted with TalkTalk. I moved2 days after prev.owner cancelled the Talk Talk line. I cannot get broadband or landline until late February because TalkTalk. WILL NOT close the line for 4 wks, everyone else is 2 wks. Prev owner has tried to get TalkTalk to cancel but they won’t. Cannot complain to anyone because they do not allow any criticism they do not subscribe to OFCOM (thought the regulated ALL communication companies....not TalkTalk obviously) , try to ring them, impossible, no email address either. I’ve nothing to do with them but they are seriously interfering with my life I cannot get my get food ordered, I’m shielding shouldn’t go out either. Where’s the “care during coronavirus” and TalkTalk “for everyone” more like for themselves and no one else. I’m venerable and over 70 cannot speak with my family or even order a book on my reader. Talk Talk youre rubbish

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I was a customer with talk talk for about 3 years. The issue came when I tried to cancel my account. I ended up spending hours on the phone to about 6 different customer assistants over a month. They were universally unhelpful, and totally failed to communicate clearly. I ended up phoning several times about the same issue and was reassured several times that it had been resolved, only to find days later that it hadn't. I eventually got through to a manager after ages on hold, she was actively confrontational and rude. She offered me £5 in compensation for the repeated errors on their part, but only if I could phone them again in 24hrs to have it processed. Needless to say, I told her not to bother and that I just wanted to never have to hear from them again. She then decided to argue with me while I repeatedly said goodbye until I ended up just hanging up. So I wasted my time and ended up being treated like an idiot too. Great.

Avoid. They make it very difficult to leave. I was charged £8.21 to phone their customer services to request the end of my rolling monthly contract when I was selling my property. I was eventually cut off with no result. I sent a follow up written request to leave and a written complaint. Still no response to either. I am still getting invoice demands from future months service and threatening e-mails because I cancelled my direct debit. Are Talk Talk unethical, incompetent or both? Save yourself the hassle and use an alternative provider.

What a terrible service they provide! I have been without Internet for two weeks, have been calling then every single working day but no help at all. My children missing their classes, I have assignments due and have been missing classes too. They don't care at all about their customer or their troubles. They tell you lies upon lies and not even bother fix the problem. NEVER CHOOSE TALK TALK they will cut you off while you talking to them promise you that your Internet will be running normal by tomorrow, ALL LIES.

from the 18/12/2020 ive been waiting for my internet to be put on this is a new service and now its the 21st of jan 2021 and still not been put on they told me it must be my rooter and sent me a new one and that one never work i orderd the tv box that i still not got and the internet that as not work to this day talk talk is a very bad service ive had to go out and by a internet dongle at £36 and having to top it up at £10 per day as i have no talk talk internet plus ive lost money from my work having to wait for engners that never cum im about to put talk talk in the nottingham countey court for the money ive lost with my work and having to buy a internet dongle i wish i never rang talk talk very very bad service and i wish this on no one take my advice and stay very well clear

I Do NOT recommend talktalk broadband at all . I had trouble with my broad band since March 2020 , I was always using their app to fix the problem . In August 2020 I Contacted them through talktalk app again and they asked me (what can we do for you today?) I did explain the situation of my broadband and nothing really changed . I contacted them 3rd of Jan 2021 through the App again they txted me and said that they found a problem in my area and they’ll send engineer to fix the problem in the next 3 days . As everything stayed the same and my contract finished in 14th of Jan 2021 I swap to virgin media in the 19th of Jan so I called them to stop their service they asked for 30 days notice , after all that bad service they provided to me . Do NOT waist your time and money.

Terrible, awful, completely useless company. We have had ongoing issues with our WiFi for about 3 months now. It is beyond a joke. We’ve now had two engineer visits. First one was openreach who arrived, fiddled around with the line outside for about 5 hours and then disappeared never to be seen again without saying a word and with the issue still not fixed. Talktalk engineer came a few weeks later, all the while we still don’t have internet, looked at the router and then said it was an issue with the line so an openreach engineer would have to look at it (Going round in circles here) - but he didn’t bother to get this booked for us. Also, ever since TalkTalk engineer visited - the internet will not connect to the TV as it did before. We don’t use this very often, but that is not the point. It is the principle. Fast forward to today, couple months later, still no reliable internet - still cutting out intermittently and not getting the guaranteed speeds. Having another openreach engineer visit over the weekend, but I have 0 hope that it will solve the issue. Oh, and I must not forget to mention - one of the customer service representatives spoke to me like I was a complete moron for not knowing exactly what a micro filter was. (Who knows that?!) He had me unplugging and plugging things back in - what if I was an elderly woman? What if I was physically disabled? Get an engineer out and look at the problem yourself!! He was definitely trying to insinuate we had done something to the in-home set up - when we haven’t even touched it since a talktalk engineer installed it a year ago!!! Spoke to more representatives since who are much nicer, but that bloke was a proper wind up. Wish I’d got his name so I could place a formal complaint to his manager. This company are a bunch of cowboys who have no interest in supplying the correct service. I work in customer service myself and have experience in a call centre, so hate when a customer has a good whinge and understand that handling calls all day can be very very mentally tiring - but my god!! This company deserves every bad word that’s said about them. Close them down. Awful awful company.
