“It’´s a scam! The phone’s screen arrived with dead pixels, then it broke. I returned as advised but no news since 2 months!!! They do not respond to any emails.”

“Awful customer service. Over a month to accept a returned faulty phone and refund - still waiting It's currently day 36. Lack luster email responses. I currently feel extremely anxious that I may not get the £899 I spent back. I would seriously avoid this organisation.”

“Sell, sell, sell - no warranty After a few uses, the wireless microphone set purchased from TechInTheBasket can no longer be switched on. The set, which was otherwise as good as new, was returned to TITB via RMA for repair. In ten weeks, no replacement parts could allegedly be obtained, although the device was still being sold. TITB refused the exchange and instead offered a credit note of only 40 EUR instead of the purchase price of almost 180 EUR. Despite repeated correspondence, TITB refuses to honour its legal warranty obligation.”

“If I could leave zero stars I would. Terrible customer service. Made contact numerous times since November 2020 regarding an item that was not received. It is the responsibility of the sender to investigate this with the courier. There is no route for the recipient to take this up with the courier. I have had no substantive response to my email - just a standard blurb and then radio silence. So have resorted to leaving a review. I would seriously urge you to buy elsewhere. It is simply not worth saving a couple of quid buying from this seller and run the risk of losing all your money.”

“Scam site. DO NOT USE. They set up two fake deliveries stating no-one was home, when there was on both occasions. DPD, the delivery company is impossible to reach after the first phone call. Techinthebasket do not respond to emails. They sent one email stating my funds would be refunded. That was a month ago. Complete sham site. DO NO USE. You have been warned.”

“I ordered a brand new Samsung phone from these people and then read some horrendous reviews, am very pleased to say i received exactly what i ordered and was very pleased, it arrived within 6 days of ordering and will definitely buy from them again in the future.”

“There many scams out there which always look too good to be true so excuse my scepticism as to whether you are genuine. The pricing and discounts bare a remarkably similar resemblence to a rogue company trading last year where nobody ever received goods ordered and went under the name Techen Shop. How are you avoiding VAT and import taxes. ? The only good reviews on Trustpilot were put on by the scammers themselves. I am happy to be proved wrong but all customers should be in their guard”

“They tried to charge me £40 delivery to Northern Ireland from mainland UK, when Royal mail is the same cost across rhe UK including Northern Ireland, be watchful for unnecessary hidden fees”

“Ordered samsung phone , loads of problems about payment , which had left my account on 2 day . So decided to get refund , iam still waiting 2 days later for payment , they now do not answer my emails , so things are getting worse , do not use this company until i get paid , I will keep you informed !!”

“ordered some air pods on August20th have still not received these and they are now saying it has not been handed to the courier The money was withdrawn on August 23rd,so lame excuses are futile I do not have a tracking number so clearly the courier does not have the item.i feel that this may ramble on but I will never use the company again.Very disappointing”

“Ok, I have not received my product yet, this review is related to delivery issues. I purchased a MacBook Air from this company on 4th July, as of today, 29th July, I am still waiting for it to arrive. Apparently, my purchase is stuck at customs and will take another two weeks. I was given a tracking number for DPD at this end (who are still awaiting) and customer services respond quickly to queries. It seems to be their intermediate courier who is letting them down, (perhaps not being honest about goods values), though Techinthebasket may be remiss in its certification. My own experience of delays with the custom office suggest these shortfalls. They are blaming Covid, but I’m sceptical. I’m not experiencing this length of delay elsewhere. I will keep this review updated, but suggest if you want your item to arrive without a long time delay, you look elsewhere? I do note however, that others have received goods in a timely fashion. Maybe I’m just unlucky”
