“While I enjoyed this learning experience, I believe that when providing assignment 1, the instructions were very vague. More clarity was required as it was such a huge area, which was why I was sort 1.08 marks to pass it. When the Tutor came back to me, I was given specific instructions on what was required, which I supplied to get 100%. This was the only area I think it could improve. I am curious as to what is the difference between the 120 hours and the 200 hours programme. Is it possible to continue on to the 200-hour programme?”

“I found the program both challenging and fairly easy at times. As I progressed I knew I was learning. I love languages and thought this was a great program and my tutor was good although I did not have a lot of contact with her she was helpful if I needed to do a rewrite of anything.”

“It was a good course. I found it to have a moderate level of difficulty. Some sections had more dense content but that's normal. Maybe there could have been one or two assigments extra to reinforce knowledge. The marker delivered my projects on time. The course is easy to navigate and follow through.”

“I thought the course was well structured and a good base to start from. The admin support was punctual and on the ball as I had a couple of issues logging in. I didn't really need to use the TEFL teacher support much (twice I think) but the response was quick and helpful. From a practical perspective it may help other students in the more mature category (I'm 63) to know that I was ruled out of some contracts - China stops at 60 and one in Hong Kong set a maximum limit of 35. I'm currently tying to get an on-line teaching role as I can't travel this year.”

“Everything was very simply and easy! The portal was a little hard work to get to and a little more communication would of been helpful like an email through to say well done you have completed your course as soon as I finished instead of me having to assume and then receiving an email months later only when you want my feedback!! I was also a little disappointed with the cost of the certificate which wasn’t made clear at the beginning of course and the address written on the envelope was wrong so thankfully it got to my address but there was some confusion! But apart from that course was very simply assignment feedback was fast and helpful, thanks”

“The staff responsed and marked grades promptly. The content was much more in depth than I was expecting and the addition of video material was good. Overall with all the content and information I feel like not only have I achieved my goal but I have learnt valuable information too.”

“The information in the course was very helpful, and the assignments and quizzes were appropriate to the material being learned. I did feel like it was a lot of reading material to cover and could have been more interactive in its delivery style. But overall, it was a good course.”

“This course covered a lot more than I was expecting, a lot of topics that I hadn't thought off which was interesting. However, the format of the actual modules wasn't great. There was far too much text on each page, making it very daunting and a bit too much at one time. It would be better if it was broken down a bit more, even a few more pictures to break up the text, rather than just text. The assignments were fairly easy to understand, however the word count was too little. If the assignment is to write about 5 things but the word count is only 400 words it makes it very difficult to write it, making sure you have the information you want to include but is within the word count. 500 words for 5 sections would make it a lot better. Overall, the course was okay. The multiple choice tests were good, as we're the unmarked activities within the modules, it was useful to see proper examples of what was covered in the modules.”

“The TEFL course was easy to navigate and I was able to work at my own pace. The assessor gave prompt feedback so I was able to continue the lessons. There was a ton of useful information. There were videos, but it would have been more useful if they showed the teacher in action more. Instead a lot of the videos were just of the teacher talking about what they do in the classroom. The quizzes could have been more challenging as well. But overall, it was a very good program and would recommend it to others.”
