I applied for a Tesco Bank Current Account recently, everything was going very well until i put money into the account. All of a sudden i'm noticing that i'm not able to withdraw cash, transfer and my card has been declined at all stores that i try to make a purchase. I contact Tesco Bank, whom never notified me of any issues said my account was under review. Under Review? what's there to review? it's a brand new account, no transactions, no problems, right? no.. they have frozen my account, i can't transfer, withdraw and now my bank card has been cancelled and was swallowed up at the ATM. I now have to wait until someone calls me sometime this week to discuss my account. I am now left with zero money to live off, no access to my state benefit, no access to food, or any other kind of help. The help is simply not there. All my money is locked away in that account and they are refusing to give me access to it. As soon as this problem is rectified, i'll be closing it down, and going to a REAL BANK, not a wannabe that cares ZERO about their customers. TESCO BANK? Avoid... unless you don't need access to your money. I'll be writing a very carefully worded letter to the CEO Dave Lewis about how badly they treat their new customers.

Quick online service for a loan application and great apr. Quick decision and money on account at no time. For sure i will use them in the futurw if available.

Calling Tesco Bank about a renewal is a complete waste of your time, the staff are absolutely useless. By telling them I wanted to lapse my policy and buying a new policy online I saved £40

Very quick service and really good conditions. They gave me much better loan than tsb. Don't believe any more the bank advisors who tells a lies. Thank you, tesco! :)

I recently had a claim regarding my car insurance with Tesco’s and the handelling of that case was amazing. They settled the claim and paid me within 12 hours, I honestly haven’t experienced anything like it with an insurance claim. If this is an indication of there service, I would 100% recommend them

They were very clear and precise on the phone and what I purchased was exactly what I recived with no hidden options. Thedog indurance was also really competitivly priced

I had an accident (not at fault) and took 20 months to resolve! refused to give me my no cliams while the claim was going threw then when it went threw held the excess and wouldn't give it back then they cancelled my insurance without telling me for some reason (wouldn't actually give me one apart from "oh it must not have been renewed") then charged me £200 more than the previous year! then i Went to add my spouse to my policy and was over £300 more expensive than the cheapest on compare the market..... very quick to take money not so quick to give it back or resolve anything get a grip

"I currently have a Tesco Bank credit card, they kindly set their payment deadline date as the last day of the month. Coincidentally, my employer pays my wages on the last day of the month, I made my first payment on the due date only to find that Tesco Bank did not process it that day and instead collected the payment the following day, adding a late payment fee. To ensure this did not happen again I set up a direct debit, Tesco Bank just straight up forgot to take the payment despite all the Direct Debit details showing on their website. And you guessed it, they added another late payment fee."

Had no problem getting a quote from Tesco which was very favourable even with my existing providers.Policy came within working days as promised.

The policy was clear and easy to buy. The only negative is that posting my policy documents to me was forgotten about until (approximately) a month after purchase. Although they were most apologetic about this .

I ordered currency first thing one day & the currency was delivered free of charge early the next day! Tesco had one of the best exchange rates, and was even better value with no card fee or delivery fee - must impressed!

A good level of cover when have no NCD website was easy to use, had tried phoning them first, but there was a 50% discount on addons on the internet, so had to cancel the call and go back to the net
