“I've had several excellent experiences on Thames Luxury Charters. The service has always been fantastic on every boat I have been on, and the whole setting provides an superb venue for every event I've attended onboard. I highly recommend them.”

“We all really enjoyed the day. Victoria Mann looked after us before the day and dealt with all last minute dietary requirements and requests. She was brilliant. I was getting a bit panicky before he day and she put my mind at rest and told me everything would be fine. She was right! The staff on the boat including bar staff and catering staff were very well turned out and professional. They were constantly checking that all was OK and that the guests were happy. They dealt with all my requests and the boat trip went swimmingly (excuse the pun). I would happily recommend Thames Luxury Charters to any friends / colleagues. A thoroughly enjoyable day.”

“We thought the staff at the office were excellent - especially Zoe who dealt with all our queries and worries with exemplary patience and good humour. The captain of the Edwardian and his second in command were also excellent - the boat arrived early, we were greeted with smiles and friendly comments. The bar staff were also excellent. The meal service was the only weak point. My husband at table 10 had wonderful service (even two glasses of champagne). I was at table 1, next to the galley. Service that side was not so good. firstly a waitress dropped the first course as she came through the door - I think I was the only person who saw it! She scooped it up and backed into the galley in a flash, but it made me a little nervous! Then the staff serving our side (tables 1,3,5 etc) did not know who had ordered which starter - both my table and our daughter's were asked what we'd ordered, and our daughter in fact took the one she had not asked for (being vegetarian she didn't want the bacon on the asparagus, so ordered trout) so as not to cause problems. We also had no refills of white wine at my table until well into the entree - it was brought round instead of being on the table - and this was unfortunate as obviously some of the important guests were at my table. Would it not be possible to have the white wine left on the table in some form of chiller - not necessarily an ice bucket? Apart from that the meal was well-served, the champagne came round at exactly the right moment and the toast/speech went off perfectly. We think your company is excellent, and we would recommend you to anyone By coincidence Alistair has just written more or less the same thing to Zoe - by post, as he doesn't believe this modern technology really works. Thank you all for making a special occasion such a pleasure.”

“What a memorable Summer's day we spent on The Elizabethan last month (Wednesday 11th June)! From the moment we first made contact with Thames Luxury Charters to plan and organise our day afloat, to the moment of our final departure once the event was over, we received nothing but outstanding support and guidance from all those responsible for planning, arranging and running our event. Of particular note was the helpfulness and courtesy of the Captain and crew of the Elizabethan, together with the chef(s) who prepared and presented a really delicious meal. They were supported throughout by efficient, helpful and above all extremely courteous front-of-house staff, who took great care to serve, clear away and respond to special requests quickly, quietly and unobtrusively. All this took place in a delightful environment. The Elizabethan is comfortable, well-appointed, and ideally suited to the sort of social event that we organised last month. There were 100 guests in our party and every single person thoroughly enjoyed the event. Congratulations to all concerned - and we will certainly be back!”

“As I invariably find, from the booking process, the planning details and then the actual event, everything was first class. The TLC team are second to none and the new caterers were pretty impressive too! An afternoon or evening with them is a great way to entertain clients for business functions or friends and family for a party.”

“Claudia and the team delivered a fantastic event for us. Being based in East Yorkshire we were only able to visit the location once before the event but we were kept up to date with progress as the event approached. The food, drink and entertainment were outstanding. The team managed last minute guest changes brilliantly and were really supportive. Below are some of the comments from our guests who had an amazing time: "We experienced a thoroughly enjoyable evening" "Thank you so much for our delightful evening on the Thames."
