“Stay away from the AA driving school especially the Manchester area. Terrible experience for my child who is 17 years old. Promised lessons from August 2023 last year. Samina based in Cheetham Hill driving instructor, promised lessons October, November, December then January 24. No communication to say she couldn't do the lessons. As of March 2024 made an official complaint about all their lies, not offered one lesson. Paid for an intensive course from a more reliable company, she passed in 12 weeks! Not one no show. Absolutely dire and want to warn others to go elsewhere.”

“Never join their ADI training to become an instructor..their trainers are ok but the AA as an organization is useless. They claim to have in-depth knowledge about DVSA ..but they are completely incompetent...”

“I wish I could give zero stars! My driving instructor was called Gopal Dey. We did a 2 hour session and all he did was shout. He called me stupid and said that I did not have a brain. This has to be the worst driving experience I had so far as I just ended up with a headache from the his shouting and did not learn anything. Very shocking behaviour. It was a waste of time and money!”

“I would give zero stars if I could. Paid £500 upfront, first lesson cancels an hour before. Second lesson a no show and ‘cancels it’ 48 hours after he should have turned up to teach my son. Absolutely shocking behaviour snd no returned calls. No etiquette or terms and conditions to protect the consumer. Ok not to show up but we round be charged for less than 48 hours cancellation. It’s do poor they don’t even cancel! Rogue traders cord to mind.”

“Had one lesson with Omar and then he goes on holiday for 6 weeks. He doesn’t communicate well with me at all, confirming lessons or even telling me I have to book the lesson before hand. Does not accommodate on days I am available, I have to book according to his schedule. When I booked my lesson, I get a text saying it’s too far for me to come to do the lesson, if you can’t do my postcode then why did you put yourself for the postcode and then I paid for the hours. Never again , don’t waste your time.”

“Did approximately 40 hours with Kien Fung. I was just driving him around. He wouldn’t even tell me basic things like checking mirrors before turning. No planning, no preparation. Waste of time and money.”

“Sudhir was an incredible driving instructor! I have always found driving challenging but Sudhir was very patient and went through everything so logically. This technique definitely gave me the confidence I needed to pass. I passed with two minors which I am very happy with!”

“My driving instructor Stephanie Vockins boosted my confidence and taught all the safe way of driving. With Stephanie guidance, I saw remarkable progress in an extremely short amount of time. Her patience, positivity, and encouragement are invaluable throughout the learning process. She possesses a rare talent for making even the most nervous learners feel at ease, creating the best environment for learning. Brilliant teacher, very responsive to where you are at with driving and will not hold you back! From my very first lesson we’ve been driving the whole lessons. I’ve quickly become confident on the road with this learn-on-the-go attitude. For anyone looking to learn in Newbury I would 100% recommend Stephanie Vockins.”

“AA driving brand never put me down. I passed my driving with 1 minor fault. My driving instructor Raj boosted my confidence and taught all the safe way of driving. He managed to cover all the test routes and familiarised me with all the speed limits and specific road markings(which helped me so much on my test date). He corrected me in a good way and never put me down.”

“AA driving school is the best, and my instructor Raj is amazing! After a disappointing experience with a previous instructor where I didn't see much progress, I was recommended to book sessions with Raj. From the outset, it was evident that Raj understood my specific needs and tailored each session to help me gain confidence behind the wheel. With Raj's guidance, I saw remarkable progress in an extremely short amount of time. His patience, positivity, and encouragement were invaluable throughout the learning process. Raj possesses a rare talent for making even the most nervous learners feel at ease, creating the best environment for learning. Thanks to Raj's expertise and dedication, I passed my driving test with just one minor fault. This achievement speaks volumes about Raj's effectiveness as an instructor. “The instructor shout at me, ask me to improve my English (I'm not local), ask me to use my brain to plan. Might be I didn't meet his expectations but please...PLEASE don't say "you are NO WAY to drive", it's really rude and will destroy the confidence of the student. He said he lost his patience and stop the lesson, I need to drive back home on my own for 30 mins. Would like to ask if I really bad like he said, why he let me to drive back home for 30 mins (not a short distence). I am still very depressed after this, still thinking about should I give up for learn driving in the future. I share my experience to my friends after every lesson, see how they think and any suggestion for my improve. I try to do better in every lesson but the result is...humiliate by the instructor. If you are a learner, maybe you will understand how sad I am. When I ask AA for complain, they have no reply. AA just sell the student to the instructor and will not follow up! If you are not genius.. please AVOID AVOID AVOID Garbor if you in Guildford. You can stop my lesson but please don't say somthing to knock down a learner. You are a instructor but don't forget you also a learner at the begining. If you cannot help a nervous student and cannot accept student who need more time to improve, please quit your job, YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO INSULT ANYONE.”

“My experience was terrible! I`ll never recommend this AA driving school! I bought 6h from this school and booked my lessons four times!!!!! ALL lessons were cancelled a few hours before the lesson started, with no previous information, no explanation, or anything else. I`ll miss my driving test because there is no more available date! I contacted the company and spoke with three different agents. The first two agents finished the chat without a solution or feedback, the third agent called Musfada was more professional and tried to find another instructor, but no success. I was open to changing the pickup postcode, instructor or anything to have my lessons but no solution...I`ll miss my test! Zero star!!! Zero recommendation, Terrible company”
