“I passed with shelly sokoar one of the best instructors I have ever met she is the best person to teach a first time driver and I passed the very first time. I would recommend her to all who are a bit scared or driving first time”

“I don’t recommend at all! I’ve had a few lessons with this driving instructor (18 hours) and he kept saying we would have to do certain manoeuvres next lessons but whenever those lessons came he never taught me what he had planned. We never even went on the motorway and kept telling me to do stuff I already knew to “polish” them. I am a great driver and it’s clear he just wanted to take my money. I have a driving test now and he cancelled on me last minute. I’m left with no car for the driving test! Absolutely mockery”

“I passed with Shelly Sokhal first time. She was helpful, professional and calm. She helped massively improve my driving and with my mock tests which put me at ease for the test.”

“I had a very bad experience with AA. They kept cancelling my sessions without prior notice. An instructor called Yildiz Karakas was especially bad. She was irresponsible. She changed class time, cancelled classes and before I could complain she contacted the AA and cancelled all of classes saying I was not going to be ready for my test. She wasted my time knowing that my test was coming up. I decided to get the refund from AA and do not recommend them at all. As I am writing this email I am waiting for my refund to be processed between 3-5 days as the agent said.”

“The indicator repeatedly cancels driving lessons with only 30 minutes’ notice, causing me to wait unnecessarily. That's bad”

“I had a test booked within next week and no car. Going through the system and booking was very easy and simple. I cannot recommend Jahir enough. With the lessons I had with him, he made it easy environment which in turn made it easy to drive. This resulted in a first time pass. If you go with AA, go with Jahir.”

“AA outsource to bad driving instructors. I'm disabled, I was given an instuctor who was always late. Would cancel sometimes after being 40 minutes late. Would answer his phone during lessons. Then decides to go abroad on a skiing holiday 10 days before my test without notification. I found out through one of his colleagues. I now have to pay one his colleagues 80 for a mock test which should be covered with my 40 hours of driving lessons all because my driving instructors colleague isn't aa approved.”

“I had a great experience learning with my instructor Ashley Davies! He’s a great teacher and always kind and patient. Starting out as an anxious driver, he really helped me build my confidence on the roads. I was made to feel really comfortable each lesson and was catered around my busy work schedule. Extremely happy to say I passed first time and would highly recommend him as a driving instructor!”

“I had a great experience learning to drive with Freddie Asare. He not only helped me build my confidence on the road but also ensured that I executed every aspect of driving correctly. His clear and easy-to-understand explanations made learning so much easier and helped me progress quickly. I always felt comfortable and supported during our lessons, and his patience and encouragement made all the difference. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled and professional driving instructor!”

“I learned from Imran Siddique for my first time driving, he made learning very easy by explaining reasoning behind good driving habits and proper awareness for potential situations while staying calm and giving proper criticism. He helped me to work driving lessons into a hectic calendar and when it came time to prepare for my test we scheduled an intensive bracket of lessons just before the test day as well as a final preparation on the day. Very satisfied and happy to say I passed first time in Tottenham!”

“waist of 1.5 years of driving my money went down the drain after my instructor made me change my test and on the test day said i woiuld of passed if he did not change it then had anotherm test in 4 months which i managed to change he then kept pestering me to do 2 hours becaus he had no resaon to guve 2 hours after 1.5 years worth of 2 hours of lessons he then says he is cutting down on lesswons and refuses to give me more lessons because i mitght fail and will go against his record plaes be awaqre he will not let tou use hes car for test”

“I had a great experience learning to drive with Jesuthasan Rajkumar (Raj) at AA Driving School. Raj is an exceptional instructor—patient, professional, and very clear in his teaching. He made every lesson enjoyable and easy to follow, ensuring I felt confident and well-prepared for the test. The booking process with AA was seamless, and scheduling lessons was super convenient. After roughly 30 hours of lessons and practising for a variety of routes and roads, I passed my test first time at the Mitcham test centre! “I had an amazing experience with AA. If you get the chance to book with Winston please do!! He was very patient punctual, calm and very instructive in his teaching methods. He got me to pass FIRST attempt at Erith with under 30hrs of lessons! :)) Thank you AA and a special thanks for Winston 🏆”

“It was a great experience! I learnt automatic as my theory was set to expire just after I start university and I really needed my licences asap due to travel and being the sole provider for my family. my first official lesson was in July and within a month I was doing mock tests! My test was booked for October and was during an extremely busy time of my life and my instructor helped me throughout it all, forever thankful! My instructor was amazing! She was smiley and was very patient with me!!! Even when she was not feeling her best she still came and gave me a great lesson, the day before my test she had a family emergency and still made it in time for me to do my test!!! Many other instructors should learn from her and she's dedicated and determined for her students! Her name is fathima and she works in the Crawley area!”

“The AA driving school is a top school. My driving instructor was Jesuthasan Rajkumar (RAJ). He was very good in teaching me the basics initially to having defined learning objectives for every lesson and explained concepts in an easy and understandable manner. I was able to pass first time due to his lessons and guidance. Would 100% recommend him as a driving instructor.”
