“I felt the course was too full, making it difficult for the tutors to provide the one on one tuition required to fulfil students requirements. The class was very mixed with complete beginners in the make up industry with more advanced students. For myself, I am already a qualified artist and took the course to perfect my existing skills and stretch my existing capabilities. This was not possible because the class was too mixed, so complete beginners required more help and attention. My tutor was fantastic, however to pay £1000 for a weeks course, I expected a lot more and a lot more attention on a121 basis.”

“Hi ,i did 5 courses with the beauty academy in Milton Keynes traning centre, it was so nice teach by them kindly ,friendly tutor...i reccomand so many people to go with beauty academy...i m 100% satisfied nd in shortly i wl contact them again for my next courses as well....”

“I thoroughly enjoyed the course and found the facilities excellent. I felt that I had learnt a great deal and was made to feel at ease. I will definitely be booking further courses in the near future. I would recommend to friends and family and general public. A big thank you to my course tutor.”

“It's a very good but very highly price of fees so normally people can't affordable same I have difficulty because I m single mother. I don't have extra money so I can't attend this course.”

“The class was small about 7 students which was comfortable as you had more time with the tutor who, by the way, was amazing. She was so calm, knowledgeable and had control of the sessions.”

“i was able to in a short while know a lot about massaging and its benefits and how i should conduct myself around customers. I was able to gain enough practical knowledge by practicing on almost three separate individuals. I highly recommend the beauty academy if you are looking to start a business in a short while.”

“The courses I have completed at the Beauty Academy have been great - covered everything I need to know with a very knowledgeable tutor who was happy to give advice based on her experience as well as what the text-book says! A lovely relaxed setting too at Reading - I'll certainly be back for more training soon!”

“I did my NVQ level 2 at The Beauty Academy. The whole experience of studying there was really great, very informative and enjoyable. Fantastic teachers, helpful staff. I was very limited with time, couldn't go to the college, I had been offered a job and needed to get my level 2 within a few months. With the assistance of helpful staff members I managed to achiev this within 3 months. Thanks to the Beauty Academy I have a job that I enjoy so much. Would definately recommend to anyone who would want to achieve the same.”

“I had a great experience at The Beauty Academy! My Tutor was very friendly & professional. She ensured that each individual was given one on one time & worked to each individuals speed. Lorraine was more than happy to recap on any elements that the group may have been unsure of & was happy to answer any questions related to that class. Very pleased overall & I would go back for training in other areas :)”

“To whom it may concern I studied both my nvq 2 and level three with the beauty academy and spent a large amount of money with them. My Nvq level 2 was smooth no problems and I passed with confidence I had a really nice teacher who gave me support guidance and was an asset to there company this lady was who made me want to continue my level 3 with the beauty academy however within a few weeks of starting my level 3 i ran into problems within my personal life unfortunately my father died my husband was having an affair and some other terrible things happened coral was helpful and allowed me to continue once i was sorted and my mind was a bit more together but the original course i had booked was not what i returned to i had paid that bit extra to attend a class every sunday with good one to one support and guidance i felt left in limbo with my treatments and my written work and i became stressed and very upset i then had to cut out my electrical facials out of my package cause i simply couldn't get the support and help i needed i just feel once a student has spent large amounts of money like that there should be better support and should be allowed to attend classes until they are a hundred percent confident without having to then on top of what you have already paid have to pay more large amounts of money if you do need to retake a class. I got there in the end with it all and passed luckily but i will be very honest it was not a great experience for me i felt compared to my NVQ2 course my level 3 was a very bad experience for me and it made me more stressed after what i had been through i should of been put back on to the original course i had paid for or something equivalent that way i could of gained the support i needed and not failed on my electricals sometimes students do run into problems and they need more help then others and student support is something that really needs to be focused within the beauty academy i feel money is important to keep the company going but successful confident therapists is a must and once a student has paid this large fee at the start i feel it is the academys responsibility to offer the best student support possible with out adding extravagant prices when a student is in need of help and more tuition However i did pass and i am greatful for that Kind Regards Catherine Pierce”

“I paid just under £200 for basic make up course and it really wasn't worth the money. My certificate never even arrived and I feel I learnt nothing. It's so basic it should be free, whilst the teacher was lovely, the techniques were nothing that a normal person using make up didn't know, I had to ask on things I wanted to learn. The make up used was extremely cheap and on the practise trials with other students we just practised using anything technique we wanted. This is not worth the money, you learn little to nothing and I was truly disappointed after really thinking I would learn something. Would not recommend the basic 1 day make up course if you want to learn.”

“To be honest I found the course very basic, the girl was quite unprofessional and I left there not really knowing what I was doing! I've made contact with a different lash company to get some extra training, which is going to cost me even more!”

“I had the most amazing time at The Beauty Academy, Kings Cross! Dom and Charlie were the most amazing teachers I could have asked for. With their experience in the industry they were able to bring everything they knew to each class and their enthusiasm about the industry and makeup itself was incredible. Not only were they great teachers but they have now become really good friends to me and they have always believed in all of us in the class, 110%! Dom has also put me forward to jobs with some of the greatest photographers which I will always cherish and remember! Love you guys!! :) Hope to go back to do an eyelash extension course soon x”
