I have been receiving FD - Food for 2 years now. As I unload each shipment I read the "guaranteed Analysis" content pages that you include. The 3 "recipes" used to be "50-55-60% moisture" - More than half of each sleeve is WATER ! - Recently you have increased those percentages to 72-76-76% = you are basically selling "dog food flavored ice" - A great business model - as LONG as you get away with IT!!

My baby boy Broly loves the chicken meals so far and licks the bowl clean! He can’t wait to have his meals and his tail goes crazy! I was very hesitant at first getting a new meal since my dog is extremely picky but I am so glad we’re transitioning over to something much more healthier and also happy to see how much he enjoys his new meals.

Hello, I have been a client for 2.5 years. Their food saved my dogs life :) Unfortunately, my dog passed away 09.20.24. Farmers dog sent me the most beautiful plant. Their kindness and compassion will not be forgotten. Thank you, Whitney

I have been buying from the farmer's dog for quite some time. On 2 occasions I received 21 packs instead of 22 packs. It's just one pack missing but that is cheating the customers. Charging them for 22 packs but delivering only 21 packs. I thought they would rectify the issue or it was by accident the very first time but it happened again.

We have received bad food that sickened our dogs. Farmers Dog is all about negating their responsibility and not respecting feedback or complaints. Expensive food that is not reliable at all and not worth the risk to the pets.

After many expensive vet bills and research we discovered that all of our dogs problems were due to malnourishment from this food. He is 12yrs old and we discovered that this food only provides half of the needed protein for his diet. It took about a year until he was having really bad skin problems and lethargy and weight loss. Once we changed the food the food and he was receiving enough protein then he perked right up. Their customer service tried helping by cutting out certain types of food, thinking it was allergies. I told them the problem once we found out but they didn't seem to be concerned or knowledgeable that this was the problem. We found many other cases of this issue with pet owners who have their older dogs on this program. They should know this and change the recipe for older dogs.

I have been feeding my dog off the shelf dog food all her life, she is going on 17 now. Still jumps between the couch. Sorry to say, some dogs live for a long time, some don't.

I wanted everyone to know about our great experience with The Farmer's Dog. We started feeding our senior dog, The Farmer's Dog, in January of 2024. He loved the food. In our 14 years with him, we never saw him get as excited over mealtime as he did with The Farmer's Dog. We loved the exceptional customer service, on-time deliveries, easy communication, packaging, etc. Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to our "Lil Man" on August 13th. Even though we were only a customer for a short time, The Farmer's Dog sent us a beautiful sympathy plant and a card with their condolences. Best customer service ever! Thanks again for everything - Kudo's to all of you.

I started my Chocolate lab on this food when he was 11, he wasn’t looking to good then health wise. After a few months of the farmers dog he dropped weight and was the healthiest he’d been in years. He lived to be 14 and even up until he passed away due to a tick disease my vet said he was the healthiest lab he’s seen. I highly recommend this food! It’s very worth it!

I started my dog with Farmers Dog in June of 2024. My dog was diagnosed with cancer in Feb 2024. I wanted to find a more healthy diet for him. Today I took my Dog to the Vet and they were very concerned with his rapid weight loss over the last few months and the shape his coat was in (not due to his current illness). I told the vet we had switched to the Farmers Dog. My vet explained that my dog being normally 80+- pounds would need roughly 1700 calories a day to maintain his current healthy weight. All this information was given to the farmers dog so they could create a meal plan specifically designed for my dog. When I contacted The Farmers Dog to verify how many calories my wouldn't need as many calories. Clearly the science behind this theory is lacking considering regardless of "nutrition" all animals still need a specific number of calories just to maintain a normal life. Then they said he was on a "trail" meal plan and could be adjusted. The Famers dog never once notified or suggest my dog was on a "trial" meal plan, the suggestion of that is just Ludacris. It honestly just sounded like a lie. Why would the company not inform you when you sign up of this "trail" plan. Tons of peer reviewed research exist on the caloric intake of dogs. It makes zero sense to take a normal caloric intake and reduce that in half without any explanation other than they are cutting corners by using less food and charging as if they were not. As they advertise/guarantee I expected to receive an adequate amount of food for my dog according to the price I paid. This false advertisement and shady business practices are appalling. How many dogs under the care of this company are starving right now? If this was done to humans it would be brought to light in an instant.

We had two dogs on our Farmers Dog account and lost one of the due to a tragic accident when he escaped through the fence and was hit by a car in front of our home. We were devastated and I reached out to Farmers Dog to let them know that we needed to remove him from our account and asking if I could just give our other dog the food from his packs. They responded and said how sad they were to hear about our loss and then answered my questions. About a week later, we received a beautiful potted flower with a card. It was from Farmers Dog telling us they were thinking about and how sad they were to hear about the loss of Tank. Talk about truly caring about their customers and going out of their way to show it. #CustomerForLife

My dog Rio loves her Farmer’s Dog meals. She now walks away from her dish after she’s eaten every morsel of her food. I’ve had a few deliveries and every one has arrived without incident and with the food still in a frozen state. My last delivery though was MIA. After I had gotten the notification of delivery I checked outside and the box was not there. Waiting a hour I decided to call Farmer’s Dog to let them know of my missed delivery. This is where the Farmer’s Dog exceeded my expectations. They had the replacement order produced and shipped the very next day. I got the sense from the people at Farmer’s Dog that Rio was their dog too and they didn’t want her to miss any meals. The company not only has a quality product to offer but it also provides great customer service.

As my dog aged, she became a very picky eater. She also was prone to gastrointestinal issues, and could only eat certain things. For about 2 years she was given fresh chicken breast, rice, pumpkin, and noodles to entice her to eat her regular food. In January we found out she had moderate kidney disease and we needed to watch what she was eating but most importatly make sure that she was eating. We say that Farmer's dog could make a recipe just for your dog so we decided to try it. Sukie loved it and rarely did not want to eat her food, it even helped her gain a little weight back. In May she ended up getting really sick and she had to be put to sleep. I called and let Farmers dog know we would not need to get any more shipments, and a few weeks later I was surprised to find a plant at my front door from them. It was so sweet. Thanks for making Suki happier in her last months and for the sweet gift that reminds me of her everytime I look at it.

My first order from The farmers dog was February 2024 after my 15 year old dog became very picky and I had exhausted about every option for her. The price is a little expensive but it was hands down the best decision I made. My dog LOVED the food and was even begging for more. Fast forward to July 2024, my dog pretty suddenly passed away just a few days after I received a full 45 day shipment of food. I reached out to customer service to see if the food was returnable or what they recommend I do with it. With no questions asked I was immediately refunded the full order amount with a note, "I'm so sorry to hear about Z***, we're unable to have you return that food, but I can definitely have you refunded for the order. Feel free to share this extra food with a friend, or donate this order to a local shelter or a pup in need in Z*** memory." Today, just a couple weeks after my dog passed away, I received a plant from bloomscape on my doorstep with a note from The Farmer's Dog - "Everyone here at the Farmer's Dog is thinking of you and sending our deepest condolences. Keeping you close to our hearts & in our present thoughts. Love, The Farmer's Dog." I just want to say thank you for your incredible customer service - even after only being a customer for a short time.

I placed my first order for fresh dog food for my picky eater, but my dog passed before my order shipped. I emailed their customer service team to cancel my order since my dog had passed. They immediately cancelled and refunded my order without hesitation. I later received a beautiful plant from Bloomscape in their honor with condolences for my Daisy Mae. Highly recommend this company! They truly care about their customers.

I have two Shitzu, puppies (Penny & Lanie) that are now 5 years old. They had always been very picky eaters. I held off on buying The Farmers dog because I did not think it would make a difference in their eating habits and, the obvious, the additional cost. Reluctantly I made my first order, also believing that it would not make a difference and I knew I could cancel the subscription if they did not like it. I was totally surprised of how well they like the food. They are eating like they never had before. It blew me away, but seeing the change in my puppies, it sold me on the product 100%. I now believe the additional cost is worth it! Now I know they are eating great and healthier.

I have been feeding my dog, the farmers dog food for several months now. The first time I tried to feed my Maltese the farmers dog she did not like it. We ended up moving states and the food that I was feeding her was not easy to get at the pet store that we lived near so I thought to try her on farmers dog again, she ended up loving it and we have been feeding it the beginning of the year 2024 I decided to give boxes to family members for them to try. One of my family members has several. After both family members signed up for the trial free boxes that I sent them. The farmers dog all of a sudden sent me a email stating that I had several accounts and several animals they canceled the trial boxes that I sent to my family members. I think that is a little bit deceitful if you’re telling someone that they are able to gift free boxes to friends and family then when you do so they all of a sudden act like you have done something wrong. Along with the cancel of the trial boxes the farmers dog is also deceitful when it comes to the amount that they’re saying, the animals should eat, 1/ fourth of a cup of food is not enough food for a 5 pound animal therefore they’re being deceitful when they’re saying the cost that it is to feed your animal per day. The last order I received from them was $88 and I received five things of food , I’m very disappointed in the way that they handled this whole situation and I do believe that they are being a little dishonest when it comes to the cost to feed animals
